Mushroom Empanada - My daughter's and mine's favorite, especially with their sauce. Chicken Empanada - Our least favorite. But again, the sauce is/was amazing! I can put this sauce on everything. Both empanadas were good, just too small. Am I being greedy? These are baked? Tasted and looked deep fried. Simple menu done well. Atmosphere - Even with GPS, it is not easy to find. It might have been me, or the rain, or a busy Webster street? But once I parked, I found the place easily by walking. If the city allows, can I suggest bigger and more signage? Very small take out business. Simple, nice decor, see pictures. Street parking, metered right in front, and free residential parking around the corner. Small display, but missing signage. “As a pizza connoisseur, when I heard about Roman style pizza, 'pinsa', with a different dough, I was immediately curious. As they note on their website, pinsa dough is made from a combination of soy flour, rice flour, and wheat flour, creating a crust that is light yet crunchy and satisfying.We ordered the Formaggio di Capra e Spinaci for some greens to go with, and then got the Quattro Formaggi and Prosciutto e Fichi for our pinsas.I find salads from pizza places to be very hit or miss; and Gusto Pinsa's salad was certainly a hit. The salad was perfectly dressed - it had a ton of flavor with the dressing, tomatoes, goat cheese, cranberries and walnuts coming together to provide an interesting textural contrast, with a nice hit of black pepper.The pinsas were the star of the meal though, as expected. Although I'm not the biggest fan of cheese only pizzas, the Quattro Formaggi was excellent! It was super cheesy and salty (in the perfect way), and the splotches of sauce provided nice balance to the saltiness of the cheese.The Prosciutto e Fichi was the preferred pinsa by myself and my partner, with the prosciutto and fig glaze providing a nice saltiness and sweetness that contrasted very well with the Quattro Formaggi.If you haven't tried Roman style pinsa yet, what are you waiting for? The Kefta was delicious with the caramelized onions seasoned with cinnamon and nutmeg (?). Really good. The tangy side salad was a nice counter-point to the Kefta. The hummus was top drawer and sprinkled generously with paprika. The only disappointment was the pita which was a bit dry and appeared (and tasted) "store bought." Taking off a star for that. If you're serving this type of food, you can't fumble something as basic and central as the pita bread. Aside from that little fail, very good.“

As an appetizers, we got the butternut squash arancini ($13.50), which were unique to me with good flavor and texture. For pizzas, we shared the Burrata Red Pie ($24) and Clam White Pie ($24). I enjoyed the clam one more because it was more special and did a great job capturing the flavor. The pizzas are a bit pricey for the size, but I say that as someone from the east coast who has just never gotten used the pizza prices here. We started with lattes, and got the smoked chicken chorizo scrambled eggs which came with potatoes and cornbread & the pancake combo with chicken apple sausage. My favorite was the pancake dish, I loved it! I’m a bit picky about how eggs are cooked in general so it’s hard for me to find the perfect egg dishes and they usually end up feeling mediocre. I’d love to try a different dish next time!“
