“Just amazing. Pop-up street food doesn’t get better than this.”
“Shawny C was an absolute beacon of light from the moment we met her. Her warm personality, genuine kindness, and welcoming spirit made us feel right at home. She didn't just serve drinks—she created an experience that made us feel valued, appreciated, and cared for.
It's rare to meet someone who naturally makes people feel welcomed and loved, but Shawny does exactly that. Her positive energy was contagious, and her authenticity stood out in the best possible way. By the end of our visit, we felt like we'd come back just to see her again.
Rob Ben's Restaurant & Lounge is fortunate to have someone like Shawny representing their establishment. She turned a good visit into a memorable one, and we can't wait to return.”
“Amazing place, a bit unexpected when you drive by. Ihad great moments and made best friends. Cocktails are best in region! Try!”

“I chose Tipsy Putt for our company party. We are a small residential construction company of 4- but even still, it was nice to be able to book a table and food in advance. It was better than I expected with the feel of a sports bar, but with mini golf and some stand up golf table games, a full arcade, a long bar and lots of seating. Service was great! We all enjoyed ourselves!”

“This place is the best! Keeps it simple: Pastrami sandos and a few other items; all done well; always ready when you get there to pick it up.
Folks who work there are super friendly. Couldn't ask for a better sandwich shop. Plus they're open early so you can grab and go on the way to work. Dad's Mustard is my choice, but no choice is wrong at this spot.”

“Our first visit but absolutely not our last! What delicious flavors! Everyone loved their desserts, the toppings are incredible (vegan hot fudge, vegan caramel, toasted almonds,) and we all left full and happy! Definitely stop in when you’re in the neighborhood!”
“I’ve been to Ruby’s a lot over the years and the food and staff are consistently top notch. I’m a fan of the coffee, those delish chocolate chip cookies and the curry chicken salad sandwich.
I was so enamored with the croissant one time that I asked the manager where they sourced them. I thought they baked them on site! But the little secret is they are from Semifreddi’s based in Alameda!”
“Best diner food in the East Bay. Live music on second Friday of the month 6 to 8:30pm.”
“We got the classic menu with wagyu beef, short rib, cuttlefish, black tiger shrimp, and quail eggs. Very high quality ingredients and tasty, especially the shrimp and short rib. Be careful with the sichuan broth - it’s quite spicy.”
Outdoor Dining
“Located on the Bay Street Plaza in Emeryville, on the second floor next to Barnes and Nobles. Saucy Asian is a Korean fusion restaurant. It’s a trendy place and is pretty busy all the way to closing time. We came in today after shopping at the new Tokyo Central across the street for a late dinner. We ordered at 7:58pm and did not receive our food until 8:26pm which was quite long wait for what we ordered. There is some indoor seating as well as outdoor seating.
As for food we ordered:
- Saucy Asian Bowl
- Saucy Asian Fries
- Island Style Poke Bowl (combo: half tuna/half Salmon)
All the food were good, have no complaints, but have had better elsewhere. Overall, if we’re in the mood for their food, we would come back.”
“Supporting local business in Emeryville. Note that this place is on Christie opposite to FedEx, not inside the public market.
The noodles, while not the best pho in the bay area, they are decent. Both noodles they served came with delicious broth. Unlike many pho places, these didn't leave you with a dry mouth. Wish their beef can be softer and more tendered - that's the only (but critical) place to lose shine. You know - always room for improvement. Can't wait to come back and try their banh mi.”
“Chinatown can be a daunting place to dine in San Francisco due to its vast authentic cuisine which is unlike anything outside of China itself. I don’t speak or read any of the dialect, but somehow managed to order food and drink that was delicious. I’m pretty sure that we created much amusement for the other diners who were rather interested in the ‘foreigners’ selections. Hey, we’re tourists from the UK enjoying our adventures and are used to ridicule thanks to our lousy corrupt government, it was no big deal. Chinatown, great cuisine in very different surroundings. Highly recommended.”
“Food, service, atmosphere... it couldn't have been better. Everything we ordered from small plates to drinks to dessert was fantastic. We will absolutely be back.”

“Cassave on San Pablo Ave is awesome. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming, and the food is seriously delicious. The pupusas are the star — perfectly stuffed, crispy on the outside, and so satisfying. Everything tastes fresh and made with care. Highly recommend if you’re craving comforting, flavorful food and great service in Oakland.”
“Service is quick. The grab and go salads are phenomenal. Variety of beverages in their fridge, everything from juices, seltzers, protein shakes, teas low calorie options. Be sure to check out their specials and soups. Had the chicken and vegs soup because i was under the weather and it was like a home styled chicken noodle soup (without noodles). Great low calorie option. They had a special on chicken marsala and it was soooo good.
They have a large menu to chose from for different dietary needs.
Absolutely love their green smoothie and breakfast burritos!”
“I love it that when I have a half hour or hour to kill, Cafe Rack has plenty of pool tables and a well-lit space for me to use. I can go there alone or with a friend, and don't need to order anything to eat or drink unless I want to. Parking is not plentiful, though.”
“Booked Hong Kong East Ocean for my birthday dinner. I wanted to eat Salt and pepper crab. My reservation was at 8:39pm, it was very quiet on a Tuesday night. The venue reminded me to f a 90's wedding hall.. I ordered Ginger scallion crab because it was the only non spicy option besides steam crab;which was delicious and I ordered a beef and bell peppers dish w/steM rice.”
“Think what a great Thai restaurant should be? and Summer Summer is that!”
Takeout Restaurants
“We had dinner there tonight (3/14/24) for the first time and we will be back. Two of the most interesting and truly delicious sandwiches we have ever eaten. I can't remember what mine was called, but it had chicken (roasted perfectly), sauerkraut, cheese and other awesome stuff on a grilled rye bread that was excellent. My bride had the turkey sandwich and loved it. But the star of the show were the Tater Tots. Perfectly crisp with BBQ sauce to dip them in and then into some wonderful real bacon bits. Every tot stayed crisp from the first to the last. The meal was worth every penny and more. Get into the Alameda location and try it. You won't be sorry. PS: The only bad part for me is that we live in Seattle and won't be back down until May. But you can bet I will be eating here then.”
“This place is a gem if you’re looking for big, satisfying comfort food. The sandwiches and burgers are HUGE—definitely come hungry or plan to take some home. The portions alone make it worth it.
The gator tots were a standout—super crispy and packed with flavor. You can tell it’s a well-loved local spot with a laid-back vibe.
It’s also conveniently located near public transportation, which makes it really easy to swing by. Overall, a great go-to spot when you want something hearty and delicious!”
“thank you katsu sora Trinoma. maraming salamat din sa nag assist samin na si Claire. sobrang attentive and friendly.”

Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Great experience all around ordering from and receiving my order from Renaissance. The owner is delightful, and the cake exceeded my expectations in both design and quality. I ordered chocolate mousse and it is not too sweet, the layers are crisp, and the cake is moist. I would include a picture of a slice but it was eaten almost as soon as it was served. I will be coming back!”
“This spot is definitely your old school neighborhood bar where everyone knows each other. I was there for a bday celebration.... it was cool for a random eveing. They had kareoke and one pool table. Cocktails seemed to ok for the crowd; no quality wine selections for me so it was a dry night. Overall the music made it was enjoyable.”
“Everyday all day five guys eats it's always okay! Got to take hands down to some of the best burgers and fries I've ever eaten and doesn't matter what location I go into they are all the same very clean organized well managed Sammy had a chance to ever stop by one of their locations you should because you want for delightful treat”
“Consistent, kind, and delicious. Been working on the street they're parked on for a long while and the thing I'll miss most about this job ending is grabbing a top notch burrito whenever I want.Only recently tried a breakfast burrito and it was so good.Currently eating a carne asada burrito with just beans and salsa and I could not be happier.Support these good folks!”
“Inside was clean, I got the beef mini meal and replaced the macaroni salad with rice, the food cane with rice, bbq beef, and vegetables (cabbage and broccoli) the food was so good that I picked out the broccoli and ate it on its own, and I hate broccoli, so that shows how good it was”
“This was my first time at this location. I didn't know that it was here until I left a nearby business. I would say that I enjoy Togo's sandwiches the most since they quality and quantity is excellent. I enjoy seeing my sandwich prepared in front of me that way I can request more or less vegetables. The staff is friendly and helpful if you have any questions.”
“Una comida auténtica de los ancestros aztecas.una variación de moles”
“Townhouse serves a standout cioppino—a deeply flavorful, tomato-based seafood stew loaded with fresh fish and shellfish. It’s one of my partner’s and my go-to dishes whenever we visit.”

“I would eat here again if I was staying at the Hyatt house again. 5 stars for atmosphere because it is close enough to enjoy your food in your room! It is a good atmosphere outside by the truck too but not lots of seating or cute decor if thats what you're looking for.
I was given a free beignet, fresh and hot to enjoy while I waited.
They didn't have the burger when I was there and I was between the mushroom sandwich or a chicken thigh pita. If I could go back, maybe next time I would try the chicken pita. The mushroom sandwich was good but I am personally not a fan of very thick bread. The fries were delicious, thick cut fries and fried perfectly. Nice and hot. Friendly service”
“We love stopping at Dipped for a sweet treat! Their caramel apples are always fresh, tasty, and perfectly made. The staff is polite and friendly, which makes each visit easy and enjoyable.
It’s become a fun stop for my kids on the way home — they get excited every time. Great local dessert spot if you’re in the Bay Street area!”
“I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, and it was absolutely delicious — a flavor that words can’t fully describe. The naan was excellent, and the Mango Lassi paired perfectly with my lunch. The portions were generous. I planned to take photos, but the food looked and smelled so good that I forgot. Overall, I highly recommend Konarq.”
“This place has been around since I was a young kid at Emery Middle School in 2003. Good times. I used to always come here with friends and eat food, it’s really good! Having returned to the Bay Area recently, I wanted to see if the place was the same as when I used to come there mind you the economy was better in the 2000s. Their food is really good and the tacos I had with carne asada were amazing! The horchata as well. I recommend this place. California has the best Mexican food! Truly”
“I don't know how many, but there are at least two Kelly's Delis in the East Bay that are located by Home Depots, so whenever I go to Home Depot I check them out. They have a variety of burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches and mexican food.I really enjoy their breakfast burritos which are made with hashbrowns, eggs, rice and choice of meat. They're decently priced and their team turns around orders relatively quick.”
“The young man (#006) who served me on 9/9/25 was unusually polite, considerate and extremely helpful. It was quite unexpected. Subway food is not very different one store from another. Differences among stores are mostly location and customer service. The latter is usually either ok or subpar at Subway. Some stores charge extra for toasting and won't allow the use of gift card, can hardly speak English, and sometimes are downright rude. How refreshing to be served by this wonderful young man who patiently responded to my requests, always with a smile. I regret not getting his name, he is tall, a big guy, young and so friendly. Thank you.”
“We placed the orders online and picked ithem up in the store. When the scheduled pickup time arrrived, the app told me the orders were ready. But when we got there, the food was not ready, and we ended up waiting for about 10 min. The timing could definitely use some improvement.
I ordered the salad bowl, the portion was generous, and the ingredients were freash.”
“Really nice place. The food is really good and nice big portions. The servers are really friendly and the cook (Nayeli) is amazing and super accommodating with our order.”
“Good coffees, responsive customer service, reasonable prices compared to most online coffee sellers”
“this was my first time going I came for my birthday I had the best time ever the decorum, the atmosphere it was everything elegant and the meat the meat just kept coming It was great I recommend this place you will love it❤️”

“Lots of great memories eating with the kids at this Shake Shack on Bay Street. We picked Shake Shack for a party too - when we placed the large catering order, John and team made the whole process easy including selecting items and on-time delivery. It was a big hit with everyone!”
