“Great cozy brunch place with your beloved friends !We ordered bulgogi Benedict and French toast. The bulgogi beef was marinated with house special sauce, the bread instead of the normal English muffin, it’s actually crispy, so it was actually quite surprisingly good with this combination !French toast is pretty good as well. Both the eggs are slightly over easy , so be careful once you poke it, it will spread around.Highly recommended and for sure to come back”
“A feast for the eyes and mouth! Nostalgic Taiwanese flavors done in such a exciting and interesting way. And of course I am so grateful for the MANY vegetarian options!”
“Indoor mini golf bar and restaurant. Golf is the traditional dioramas in one area and stand up tables with hand held sliding clubs in another.Large seating area and bar. Good location at Bay Street shopping ”
“What an amazing food and the smiley customer service. The best pomegranate chicken and lamb kababs with rice and mediterranean salad, yummy lentils soup. The portion was very generous.”
“Went for the first time and it was really good. We had the opportunity to speak with the owner Kecia who is wonderful. Our waitress (she was so busy I didn’t get her name but she took care of us) was great. Thank y’all for everything.Tried the fried oysters, prawns and fish and it was really good. Also had the yams, greens, Mac and cheese and had the Hennessy cake for dessert. Everything was great, I will definitely be coming back every time I’m in the area.”

“Today I visited for the first in a long while and want to say thank you! Thank you for making sure I was satisfied and had all I needed. It was a pleasure and your food is amazing.”
“So delicious! We sat outside so service was not the greatest, saw our server twice, to order the food and pay the tab.The food was incredible.I got the stuffed french toast - It was perfectly sweet. My husband got the Azteca Huevos Rancheros - We both thought it was very tasty. We ordered a side of hash browns to share, they were the best hash browns that I've had!10/10 Would recommend and would definitely return!”
“Love this coffee company! McLaughlin's quality, roasts and flavor options surpasses Peet's and other local and shipped coffee companies I have tried. Their website's interface is intuitive, user friendly, easy to navigate and limit to favorite roasts or browse all available.I signed up for the newsletter and each month I receive a discount code towards a coffee purchase along with additional promotions and discounts - so worth the extra email and there is no limit to purchase. Pickup for your item(s) purchased is super easy and can be made same day if placed early enough (time is on website), next business day for pickup up or shipped. Their location is in Emeryville and super easy to access off the freeway or from Ashby street area. It's near the Chevron over the bridge leaving from Emeryville Bay or Marketplace. Parking can be a bit but easy to manage. The pickup window can be easily missed, so look for the sign that reads PICKUP. The company is on the corner of 64th and Hollis. There is no in store shopping as it is only a pickup location and orders have to be placed in advance. Worth the drive and time. Be mindful of the daily lunch scheduled closure other than that ...Enjoy! I always do!”

“My friend recommended this place to me. The place is fairly simple and clean. You order at the counter. There are a few tables for you to dine in, but I find most people order to take out.I like the Simurgh kebab sandwich. The kebabs were delicious but what stood out for me was the Turkish bread. It's not like anything I've had before. It is grilled, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It is probably my favorite sandwich bread now. They make them all from scratch.I've only been there twice, but it's a place I would return again.”

“Great bar with tasty drinks. Their patio is fantastic and is what I recommend on a warm late spring evening. I don't know how the patio is during the winter (warmth), but the vibe is impeccable.”

“Went to the public market for some lunch, the public area was so crowded. So we decided to check out Pizzeria Mercato, the place is spacious! The calamari was delicious, would order that again! The pizza and pasta were good as well, but the calamari is a must for us. All and all, we had a relaxing lunch.”
“Needed a pick me up. Stopped at this small and quaint cafe. The location is very clean. Great customer service. Nice variety of food and drinks. I got a pour over coffee and was persuaded to purchase a slice of Morning Glory loaf cake. Heavenly experience. :) Would definitely return.”
“Best be sure the owner is working the register every morning like clock work. Great food, great space, great people. And they are a real staple of the neighborhood, hosting big dinners/celebrations for folks in the area.”
“A lil cozy place to eat at that has a bar and good food. It's a lil on the pricer side, but the food is worth it. The garlic butter wings and the gem on Dutch crunch are my go to for this place.”
“I love butter pecan.. I was excited they put a location closer to me.. this location is bigger and has space to eat inside .. the staff was nice and has lost of patience.. I had a hard time making a decision that day..I wanted to try the Valentine's Day special and that sock it to me cookies was on point.. I didn't expect the center.. I was also able to try the brownie cookie soo good can't wait until they bring it back the peach cobbler cookie”
“Such a great spot. Been here a few times and the owner is super friendly, clearly cares about every detail. Food is amazing, everything I’ve had has been awesome. It’s the kind of place I really hope sticks around, they deserve it. Highly recommended.”

“Deluxe chicken Katsu is the best ;) two people portion. This is by far the closest taste to what I ate in Japan and Hawaii. I wish they have their own front shop so we can eat them when it really hot and crispy ? keep up the good work.”
“The fried chicken karaage sandwich is the best! It's probably like 800 calories, so not something to eat every day, but definitely one of the best fried chicken sandwiches in town.”
“Delightful flavors danced on our taste buds, exceeding our expectations with every bite. The hot links proved to be a symphony of tastiness, and thanks to the insightful recommendations from the cheerful staff, the mustard sauce added the perfect zing to the experience. The beef brisket, a true star on the menu, was a mouthwatering delight. Tender, succulent meat paired seamlessly with the mild sauce, creating a harmonious blend of flavors. The cornbread, subtly sweet, provided the ideal accompaniment, enhancing the overall culinary journey. The potato salad, a flavorful addition, was undeniably a big plus, leaving us savoring every moment. Not only did the food shine, but the gentlemen taking orders and crafting our culinary masterpiece were beacons of niceness and helpfulness. Their stellar customer service elevated the entire dining experience, making it one of the best I've had in a while. A heartfelt thank you for a meal that not only filled our stomachs but also warmed our hearts. Cheers to exceptional flavors and top-notch service!”

KYU2 Sushi
“Our go-to place for sushi! A cozy, romantic spot. They make pictures with the sauces - fun for kids! Update: eating out less, kid grown, but still really love this place for a cozy self-date. Great service and the food is always exceptional. On street parking, which isn't too bad.”

“A feast for the eyes and mouth! Nostalgic Taiwanese flavors done in such a exciting and interesting way. And of course I am so grateful for the MANY vegetarian options!”
“great bar! it's inside the Tipsy Putt kinda like a speakeasy thing. the hot bartender named Candy made me the best banana cocktail I've ever had. ordered some nachos from the kitchen, so tasty. but that bartender Candy was the highlight, such great service, amazing drinks. i spent so much money, totally worth and will do again.”
“Visited this cozy little cafe at Café Buenos Aires was a revelation! The perfect fusion of Chaga’s earthy richness and Matcha’s vibrant notes created a truly unique and delightful beverage. Nestled in this beautiful unassuming spot, the cafe exudes a warm ambiance that pairs perfectly with their array of drinks and empanadas. The Chaga Matcha Latte stands out as a must-try, showcasing the cafe’s commitment to quality and flavor innovation. A delightful discovery for any matcha enthusiast seeking a cozy retreat in Emeryville!”
“A lot of ice cream joints, offer, vegan options but few go beyond sorbets and one or two basic flavors. Mr. Dewey's goes the full Monty, with lots of unique flavors, as well as traditional ones. Especially fond of mixing the golden turmeric flavor with another less exotic taste, like banana walnut, for a real treat.”
“The fried chicken karaage sandwich is the best! It's probably like 800 calories, so not something to eat every day, but definitely one of the best fried chicken sandwiches in town.”
“I came in right before closing to grab a drink and charge my phone and the cashier was amazingly friendly and warm. Super nice, family-run vibe. Can’t recommend enough”
“Great place to chill out with very limited seating capacity due to its size. They also have seating available outside.Parking: They don't have their own parking lot. There's plenty of street parking.”
“Great southeast Asian comfort food! Food is incredible and the owners are very friendly and kind. Highly recommend the Nam Kao, Lao Sausage, and Thai tea. Open late, which is a huge bonus in the east bay!”
“The pedant behind the counter took it upon himself to tell me that I was not allowed to park in the designated bike parking because he was forced to put a table in front of the bike rack placed there specifically for the purpose of locking up bikes. He proceeded to tell me that we had to move our bikes so we went out and moved our bikes to another bike rack nearby. In the process of moving our bikes, he continued to harangue me and my husband as we complied with his request. I did my best to ignore him and turn my back on him but he just continued harassing me. It was a very unfortunate experience, but certainly should not deter you from visiting this Pete's coffee. The rest of the staff is quite wonderful and the food is good and the coffee is terrific.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to navigate inside the shop, it's very large and can accommodate wheeled conveyances however it does not have a door that opens automatically. So you have to wait for somebody to come and help you. And in order to use the corridor to get into the attached mall area, you'll again have to wait for someone to open the door because there's no automatic door there either”

“I haven’t been to Rudy’s in ages. I used to coach gymnastics behind #Pixar for years and I must have raised myself on Classic American Breakfast before chicken Apple was cool. For me this place is nostalgic and an American Classic! It’s 110% on the money as usual. Highly recommend you make this your go to breakfast spot if you are just visiting or a local. Team #CantFail Por Vida ❤️Vegetarian options: Vegan Friendly ❤️”
“This was such a lovely experience! James was so helpful and so kind! He offered advice and expertise about the drinks menu and was so friendly all the while! All the staff, Ella and Amanda, were also lovely!”
“On the newer side of breweries in the Berkeley area (for me at least) Tried a little something of every beer style so I can cosign em. Their triple westie won a blind taste test over pliny the younger at city beer store for all you people stuck in the past. Newer breweries make hella noise, too!”
“Good good goood! Yummy food and nice people! I loved their authentic dishes. So diligent and cooked food you want in the way you want example of what a benchmark should be!”
“Dinner with a friend was such a lovely experience. Great food. I had the baby back ribs(fell off the bone)and my friend the ribeye steak(deliciously tender). Staff were friendly and attentive. A 3 piece band softy playing jazz music in the room added to the warmth of the ambiance. Truly a memorable evening.”

“one of my favorite place in public market . I love the bowl and it is economical rice, stewed chicken and sweet fried plantains. x $13 dls and the food is very fresh and delicious”

“Carnitas & Al Pastor are my favorite tacos, but everything I've had has been delicious. Taco Thursday is what reeled me in, the Carnitas is what got me hooked. The staff has always been extremely kind and helpful and the wait is minimal. The atmosphere is nice, just a little tight on a busy night. Highly recommend!”
“First off, Taco Tuesday is a dangerous time to go here. The food is always excellent and being able to go back for seconds, thirds, ...I love the Margarita Nopales. The tricky part is deciding which mole sauce to choose. With six regular moles and a seventh seasonal, it can be a bit of a dilemma.”
“Dining at Fogo De Chao Brazilian Steakhouse in Emeryville, CA, never disappoints, and my sixth visit further cemented my love for this place. The staff's welcoming and attentive nature was immediately apparent. A heartfelt shoutout to Sarah, Ariel, Nicole, George, and Guilherme for their exceptional service, ensuring every aspect of the dining experience was perfect. The consistently high level of hospitality pairs superbly with their sumptuous selection of meats and extensive salad bar. It's truly a culinary adventure, elevated by the dedicated team who makes each meal special. Kudos to the team for continually raising the bar - a well-deserved five stars!”
“The tables are nice and the prices are reasonable and the food is pretty good but there aren't enough cue sticks to support a full house. Many cues are broken and the rest in bad shape. All of the balls are all dinged up.A lot of casual players wouldn't care I suppose but to me the lack of maintenance and care says that given enough time they will eventually let the actual pool tables fall apart. Which will be a shame cause they are 1 of few pool spots in the area (and they have a couple tournament quality tables I'd hate to see ruined).”
“Good food and ambience. Service was a bit slow, we had to wait a while to even order drinks. By the time they came to take our drink orders, we ordered everything just in case service would continue to be slow. Food came out quickly though. We went for dinner and the place wasn't very full.”
“Drab venue. Feels like walking Into a kitchen or empty bar. Staff experience was one of one-upmanship. Promise one thing but meant another and how I should have known. Thank God there was a witness. That's particular to the young female who worked there that early morning. The older male employee kept having to play clean up.”
“The place is closing in April and it will truly be missedGreat service and awesome foodThe views are amazing and so beautiful and very professional staff ? the service is the best bartender ever in ”
“Beautiful view of the water, and food is AMAZING! Really takes me back to HK. Highly recommend the pig feet ginger in vinegar dish and the thousand layer cake – can’t find it anywhere else!”
“I've been coming here for years. I love this place. Really good, creative, food. Super friendly and helpful staff. It's a great restaurant. I highly recommend supporting this business!!!”

Takeout Restaurants
“Great place to go when you are with a group and everyone is in the mood for something different. I think there are over 10 food stalls and there is even a beer cooler to choose your favorite beer. Greek, Asian, Mexican, Smokehouse just to name a few.”

“This is my FAVORITE cafe, any time I can make it over is a special treat. They have such uniquely crafted drinks, and such kind workers. They also have really cool art and tea-esque things for sale in-store!!!! I've gotten yummy syrups from there.”

“Great place to grab and go. Coffee is good and strong. I am here waiting for my train back heading back east. Got a gorgeous salad for the ride. The nice guy gave me a few snacks for my two day trip! I think we forget to be kind sometimes, this guy didn't. I really appreciated that as I return home, exhausted!”
“While visiting our daughter in Oakland, we heard about Arizmendi’s Bakery & Pizzeria and had walked by on a Tuesday, but unfortunately for us they were closed. They are open Wednesday through Sundays! The first time I went into their store it was early in the morning and I almost passed out from the aroma of their breads. I purchased their sourdough and garlic Parmesan breads and some of their scones! Every was delicious and the breads weee still warm having recently come out of the oven. The last time I went there, I purchased a container of their red lentils soup that was spicy and delicious! While we had to fly back to New York, we’ll be returning soon. We also purchased one of their pizzas that was also great! And their prices are surprisingly reasonable!”

“Great little joint that we dropped into spur of the moment. The bartender was amazing! Tall drink of chocolate that was personable and welcoming! Highly recomend!”
“I did a mobile order and because I was not familiar with the area it went to the wrong location I was sitting and waiting for the order and I quickly realized that my order was not coming and asked if this was the right location. Adrianna was so sweet she confirmed that I ordered at the other location and was super quick to make my drink for me so that I wouldn't have to go to the other location and the drink was perfect! It was a very chill vibe there and the two working just had a very friendly and efficient vibe to them.”
“We found this place just by a chance walking around and no regrets whatsoever.,, liked the ambiance and welcoming atmosphere. The server was polite and patient. Food was fresh and well prepared. Yes, I recommend to visit and try.”
“This bakery is our usual go-to and we always have a great experience, however unfortunately their in-store system is not currently accepting giftcards (but you can use giftcards to order online for pickup). This has been the case since Valentine's day. Will update my review to 5 stars once they update/fix their systems.”
“This is a great Peet's location. It's in the Emeryville public market, so if you're with someone who wants variety, and all you want is coffee, this is definitely the place to be. If the seating inside the store is full, there's plenty of places to sit in the public market. The staff are always very friendly and responsive. They almost never have medium roast brewed, but they will always brew a special pot just for me. I certainly hope I'm not the only one ordering it, or that's a lot of wasted coffee. The reason for four and not five stars, There are often vagrant level computer users in this coffee shop. People will come in here and set up an entire desktop computer workstation consuming 5 ft of seating area. I say vagrant level, because these setups tend to be dirty looking and accumulate a bunch of trash.”
“I love their Spicy Pork Burrito. One of the best burritos I have had in the Bay Area. Pineapple Agua Fresca was so good and I could say it was freshly squeezed! I will be a regular customer and recommend this place strongly!”
“We moved here about 6 months ago and were looking for a good Peruvian place that survived the pandemic. Since then we go to Paradita once a week like clockwork. Our order? Lomito Bowl Alfajores Bottled coke Every time. No exceptions... but I recently saw they added lomito as a burrito. I might stray... Ambiance great, place clean, service quick. Certainly well-priced compared to Lomo Saltado at many other Peruvian spots. Definitely recommend. Ps Don't forget the spicy salsa!”
“Hummus was amazing, high quality ingredients and great value in a time when Macdonald’s tries to charge the same for literal processed garbage. My new fav spot! Can’t wait to try everythingMeat was on the dry side and not as juicy as simply Greek (that sadly closed down) but the whole combo was still good. Would be awesome if the meat was better grilled”

Konarq
“This place is great. The staff there are so friendly, it's really well priced, and the portions are filling. We typically get their chicken tikka masala, vindaloo, or curry. I really enjoy their fresh naan, and also appreciate that they have gluten free mains which is important for my partner. They offer a small tasting sample if you need it, as they have many options and you may want one before deciding. My only wish, and I agree with some other reviews on this, is that you could order something extra spicy. Enjoy!Dietary restrictions: I was told all their main pot dishes, salad, and rice were gluten free! This is great news for my household.”

“We wanted a late-night dinner so I ordered ahead on the website for pickup, and receiving my food at the drive thru was very smooth. Simon at the window was super nice and helped check our order was intact. We got the chicken extra crispy and it was so delicious !!!”
“Haven't tried burger king in years. Wanted to try the breakfast. Not bad. I got the croissant sausage sandwich combo. Drive thru was fairly quick in the am. Food was fresh and tasty. Kinda pricey for $10 for that including tax...”

“Beth did a very wonderful job for my dad’s birthday cake! I asked for a galaxy cake and she gave me exactly a galaxy cake! She’s super friendly, responsive, timely, and kind. The cake tasted amazingly delicious! So moist and rich! I definitely will want to order another cake from Beth again! Thank you so much again Beth! Much appreciate all your hard work!”
“I have been coming to this truck since I was a kid. Food always taste fresh, always good, always fast and exceptional customer service. If you are looking for great food this is the place, alpastor & carnitas has never disappointed me”
“My mother is turning 100 years old and we were treated so well. I really appreciate the way everyone treated her and acknowledged her. She is now one of the best of 209 Magazine for Aug/Sept as she had a article about getting on a kayak in SF bay McCovey Cove for a Giants game. We look forward to staying at the Garden Inn in Emeryville again.”
“I got the queso birria combo plate for 15$. You get 3 huge, greasy tacos with consume, awesome salsa, and veggies. Omg it was so good. The best roast beef taco, ever!”
“1st time ordering takeout from here; I'm a pizza snob from NYC. Had a big slice of the Porchetta pie. Soooo cood. Have to have it again. Love the thin crispy crust of the pie. The cheeses, the Porchetta and the slasa verde made this a must have again!”
“When specifically ask for chicken to be cut up into small pieces for a five year old to eat & you get back huge cuts of chicken a grown adult would have trouble biting it really annoying. However the food is excellent & conveniently located with decent size portions so that’s what keeps me coming back.”
“Absolutely amazingly perfect. So many vegan options it's like a vegan sandwich heaven. I came the day before my birthday but I literally wanted to go back for my birthday meal. Great service they helped explain if anything wasn't vegan or how to make any thing vegan. 100/10 so yummy”
“Just the basic subway. That was several years ago. I was gifted subway gift cards. We were there 1/25 and 1/28. Service was terrible. All sandwiches were incorrect. Over charged. Repeated repeated the order and argue with the counter service.”
“Great place.. stayed at the Hyatt House down the street and what a wonderful thing to have this nearby. So many choices, too many lol and such great variety not the usual by any means. Had a burger and fries from Super Duper and a strawberry slushy from Baby Cafe. and jerk chicken , fried plantains and rice from The Calypso all were very good. Highly recommend and wish we had a market like this where we live.”
“This is our favorite burrito place, in a city filled with burrito places! My favorite is a prawn (shrimp) super burrito! The interior is, shall we say, mid-century, but the tables are clean, and they're open for indoor dining (no thank you), and there's a table or two on the sidewalk as well. Call in orders are welcome, and they work with all the usual delivery services.Kid-friendliness: They make an excellent bean and cheese burrito and have other "white food" options for picky eaters.”
“As a certified Latino who has been all over the bay and has tried all the greats, this is honestly one of my favorites. The Carne asada here has such good flavor and goes so well in their california burrito. Also, I love the surf n turf.Give it a shot, trust me, the carna asada is daaaaamned good.”
“I don't frequent BR often but wanted to try the thanksgiving ice cream which is good by the way. Store wasn't busy. The server, Tymisha came out, spoke and said she'd be with me. Had a few good samples. She was able to answer my questions and multitask very well. I was impressed that she was able to handle a crisis with the management while still serving the customer. She was clear, concise and kind. Very considerate and communicative. Due to of her impressive service, I'll return. The store was clean and well organized.”
“Good variety of food on menu. We had a grilled chicken club with avocado that was very tasty. Our daughter had a cup of their chilli and a small house salad which she enjoyed.”
“This place is consistently amazing. The manager is so sweet and very accommodating of my young kids. The workers take care of us like family. Food is delicious and you can tell that they try their best instead of sloppily throwing together something. Everything we ordered was very flavorful. If you're in the area and craving both Korean and Japanese, this is your joint...crunchy onigiri goodness stuffed with juicy Korean bbq meat. Yum!”
“This is a convenient Starbucks inside of Pak n Save. I like getting my iced coffee before my grocery run. It is located right at the front when you enter the store. The reason for the 4 stars is because there is not someone always here, sometimes you have to get a worker to call out for a Starbucks worker. And if they are there, it's just one person ringing up people, making the drinks and the wait can take awhile. Overrall, customer service is good. Place is maintained and clean.”

“One of the only liquor stores in my area that is actually open until 2am! They are always nice to me when I go in to the store. I docked one star because they don't have Bacardi Silver available about 50% of the time. But their prices are standard and they have a nice selection of ice cream and popsicles.”

“The food us well worth the money that you spend in there. Sandwiches are delicious, burgers are great and they have delicious variety of salads. I believe they have something for everyone on the menu. I go to the one in Emeryville on Powell Street in the building 2000.”
“Super Duper Burger offers a solid burger experience. The food quality is good, and they provide a variety of options to suit different tastes. The service is generally prompt, and the ambiance is pleasant for a casual meal. Overall, a decent choice for those looking for a satisfying burger joint.”
“The roast chicken and the black beans here are delicious. My wife and I make special trips here just to enjoy both. I’ve had other dishes here — tacos and enchiladas — and they’re good as well but those two basics are a powerful draw. Also, I just love the Emeryville Public Market.”

“Haven't tried burger king in years. Wanted to try the breakfast. Not bad. I got the croissant sausage sandwich combo. Drive thru was fairly quick in the am. Food was fresh and tasty. Kinda pricey for $10 for that including tax...”

“Claudio was my server and he was great! He was very attentive and was quick to come to our table and paid close attention to detail. Jennifer the manager, has a very nice feel this Denny's. I will definitely come back here when I'm out clubbing.”
“Came here on a rainy Bay Area day very hungry. I’m not a ramen snob and found vegetarian ramen to be good. Service was on point, very efficient. Not the best decor, but I was there to eat.”
“Good variety of food on menu. We had a grilled chicken club with avocado that was very tasty. Our daughter had a cup of their chilli and a small house salad which she enjoyed.”
“Great place to go when you are with a group and everyone is in the mood for something different. I think there are over 10 food stalls and there is even a beer cooler to choose your favorite beer. Greek, Asian, Mexican, Smokehouse just to name a few.”
“This new spot in Emeryville is great. I've been a few times so far. It's a great place to come and get a burger and hang out. There are heat lamps and plenty of crowd watching. You can order your food at the kiosk or online and they call u when it's ready. I took my son and friends before the movie but it's a great place to hang out with co-workers or a non-fussy date night.”

“Beautiful view of the water, and food is AMAZING! Really takes me back to HK. Highly recommend the pig feet ginger in vinegar dish and the thousand layer cake – can’t find it anywhere else!”
“I moved to the Bay Area from Atlanta Ga just 6 months ago. In Atlanta CFA was a go to for me as they are on every corner. Since moving to the Bay Area being able to still have my chicken sandwich and soup has been everything to me - a little piece of back home. I am also pregnant with my first child and all I can eat with ease is chick fil a chicken noodle soup.Thank you to the team at Emeryville Chick Fil A for always getting my order out quickly, correct and still piping hot! I love you!!”
