“I've been coming for breakfast and lunch every other week for the past several months. The food is tasty and prepared with care, and the service is very good. The bagel with lox is generously portioned with plenty of capers and onions. The breakfast burrito is tasty and very balanced between the chorizo and other ingrediets. All the sandwiches have a great balance of ingredients, are generous, but not oversized. The house coffees are nice blends. What I mean by prepared with care is that nothing is greasy or over salty, meaning it is purposely prepared and assembled carefully, and ingredients chosen and the dish seasoned with attention so the end result is great. Take the breakfast burrito, for example - most places, there would be grease and juices dripping out, but Ruby's is very clean and tasty - you can eat with one hand without worrying it will drip onto your arm.“

“Great experience at MUMU Hot Pot in Emeryville! The quality of the meat was excellent—very fresh, nicely marbled, and perfect for hot pot and grilling. The broth was flavorful, and the dipping sauces were well-balanced. Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was clean and comfortable. Definitely a great spot for a satisfying hot pot meal in the Bay Area. Will be back again!“

“Located on the Bay Street Plaza in Emeryville, on the second floor next to Barnes and Nobles. Saucy Asian is a Korean fusion restaurant. It’s a trendy place and is pretty busy all the way to closing time. We came in today after shopping at the new Tokyo Central across the street for a late dinner. We ordered at 7:58pm and did not receive our food until 8:26pm which was quite long wait for what we ordered. There is some indoor seating as well as outdoor seating.
As for food we ordered:
- Saucy Asian Bowl
- Saucy Asian Fries
- Island Style Poke Bowl (combo: half tuna/half Salmon)
All the food were good, have no complaints, but have had better elsewhere. Overall, if we’re in the mood for their food, we would come back.“

“We had dinner there tonight (3/14/24) for the first time and we will be back. Two of the most interesting and truly delicious sandwiches we have ever eaten. I can't remember what mine was called, but it had chicken (roasted perfectly), sauerkraut, cheese and other awesome stuff on a grilled rye bread that was excellent. My bride had the turkey sandwich and loved it. But the star of the show were the Tater Tots. Perfectly crisp with BBQ sauce to dip them in and then into some wonderful real bacon bits. Every tot stayed crisp from the first to the last. The meal was worth every penny and more. Get into the Alameda location and try it. You won't be sorry. PS: The only bad part for me is that we live in Seattle and won't be back down until May. But you can bet I will be eating here then.“

“One of the last few locations in the USA. I really like their smoking oven. The place is elegant casual. Its a lot if fun.
Update 2025: Much has changed since my review about 8 years ago. Dishes were a-miss, the service was fine, but not exciting. Value for items was not up to my expectation, and there were few other patrons on what should have been a very busy evening.
My previous 5 star review is downgrades to 3 stars, but the review still shows the origional rating.“

“Vy and her father Luc are so incredibly sweet and make wonderfully flavorful Vietnamese coffee which is from their hometown of Dalat in the southern Highlands of Vietnam. Their ban mi sandwiches are absolutely perfect and authentic like the ones in Vietnam down to the texture of the bread and the vibrant flavors of the peppers and pickled vegetables. Come by and enjoy their sincere hospitality and good vibes.“

“This place is a gem if you’re looking for big, satisfying comfort food. The sandwiches and burgers are HUGE—definitely come hungry or plan to take some home. The portions alone make it worth it.
The gator tots were a standout—super crispy and packed with flavor. You can tell it’s a well-loved local spot with a laid-back vibe.
It’s also conveniently located near public transportation, which makes it really easy to swing by. Overall, a great go-to spot when you want something hearty and delicious!“

“Service is quick. The grab and go salads are phenomenal. Variety of beverages in their fridge, everything from juices, seltzers, protein shakes, teas low calorie options. Be sure to check out their specials and soups. Had the chicken and vegs soup because i was under the weather and it was like a home styled chicken noodle soup (without noodles). Great low calorie option. They had a special on chicken marsala and it was soooo good.
They have a large menu to chose from for different dietary needs.
Absolutely love their green smoothie and breakfast burritos!“

“Great food. In fact, the best food that we've had on this trip. My wife had the Calabrian Tagliatelle (made with pork sausage) and I had the Pacific Salmon entree, and we shared the Olive Oil Cake with maciated peaches. Highly recommend the Vin Santo with the Olive Oil Cake -- it's a lovely contrast. Staff was very friendly.
The waiter thought that I wanted the pasta with salmon. When our food arrived, I said that I really wanted the Pacific Salmon entree. Not only did they take my entree back and correct the mistake, but they remade my wife's entree so that it would be fresh. Now, that's class!“

“Chinatown can be a daunting place to dine in San Francisco due to its vast authentic cuisine which is unlike anything outside of China itself. I don’t speak or read any of the dialect, but somehow managed to order food and drink that was delicious. I’m pretty sure that we created much amusement for the other diners who were rather interested in the ‘foreigners’ selections. Hey, we’re tourists from the UK enjoying our adventures and are used to ridicule thanks to our lousy corrupt government, it was no big deal. Chinatown, great cuisine in very different surroundings. Highly recommended.“

“Really yummy, good portions that justify the price, and great variety of Japanese dishes. Also a good selections of add ones for most dishes and al la carte options. Not a lot of restaurants like this anymore and hope this place sticks around in Public Market. I highly suggest the Katsu Chicken Curry Udon w/Sunny Up egg. I think it’s one of the better value dishes.“

“I love it that when I have a half hour or hour to kill, Cafe Rack has plenty of pool tables and a well-lit space for me to use. I can go there alone or with a friend, and don't need to order anything to eat or drink unless I want to. Parking is not plentiful, though.“

“I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, and it was absolutely delicious — a flavor that words can’t fully describe. The naan was excellent, and the Mango Lassi paired perfectly with my lunch. The portions were generous. I planned to take photos, but the food looked and smelled so good that I forgot. Overall, I highly recommend Konarq.“
