What I ordered: 7.5/10: Spicy Eggplant - $14 - very strong fish sauce flavor - loved the eggplant, it was fried to the perfect firmness - not spicy at all 7/10: Pumpkin Curry - $15 - slightly too sweet and undersalted! - comes with chicken and shrimp, neither were dry at all! My new favorite place in Emeryville!!!! The green curry and basil fried rice were awesome. Loved the ambiance and the service was great. Excited to come back to try the whole menu. Definitely a nice whole in the wall restaurant for a laid back dinner.

We used to LOVE Giin Thai on Shattuck, and these are the same people! We had the Khao soi, string beans, thom kha chicken and it was all so delicious. So happy to have found this place. Will definitely be coming back. ?Vegetarian options: Khao soi, egg plant, string beans, and moreParking: Their parking lot is small (8-10? spots), but we've always found a spot in it, and there is street parking too.
