“In case there is a problem with parking, it may be beneficial to choose an in-flight dinner. The place is a little small but cute. The day we went, the weather was very cool and there was no free space for the parts. Staff are trying hard to protect us from the cold. Finally, space was made available from inside. “Vegan cuisine (non-religious)Ethiopian cuisine, very interesting to try. The menu has a large QR code on the transparent partition at the cashier counter, and you can see the picture by scanning it. If you have no clue, just choose the most popular area. In addition, they also have traditional staple dishes, which look like burritos but taste like cakes, and they also have rice options. The service is very homely and friendly, it looks like a three-generation family restaurant. The taste can also be adjusted, such as adding spiciness or if you don’t want onions. There are many street residents in this neighborhood, so the lights are a little dim at night. In addition, the sign at the entrance is not very obvious. Although it is a store with large floor-to-ceiling glass, it is easy to miss it at night, so open your Google Navigation.Oh, I forgot to mention: very delicious!Recommend you to give it a try!Paid parking is available on the street.Vegetarian options: Vegan (non-religious)Dietary restrictions: Ethiopian meals“

I'll smile for photos because I want to believe I'm happy in most moments of my life. Live photos are showing me that sometimes I look miserable right before smiling. Anyway, at least food doesn't change much with live photos. It looked and tasted great.“

“The food was delicious. We got the classic goat curry, chicken tikka masala, palak paneer, egg plant in salan sauce, rice, and garlic naan. The naan and rice was perfect for sopping up all the difference sauces. The chicken was a little dry, but the sauce made up for it. My favorite was the goat curry. Very moist and just tender. We got the medium spice, which was pretty spicy. I also recommend the mango lassi, a delicious yogurt drink. The service was wonderful too. The waitress very friendly and she gave us a free dessert, rasmalai, a cheese dumpling in sweeten condensed milk.“

Peanut Stew Maafe Bowl

“A latecomer to the Vacant to Vibrant pop-up series. I walked by several times hoping they'd open and finally they did! It was definitely worth the wait since Senegalese food is very unique in the FiDi (and even San Francisco) and it's delicious!Pizza Pulaar: A really unique "pizza" and much heartier than typical flat breads. The nice butternut squash paste made it hearty and flavorful. The generous amount of cheese was crucial to be pizza-like. And all the wonderful spices gave it so much personality. Plus the fresh pomegranate seeds were a great seasonal touch. High recommend!Senegalese Street Style Spaghetti Sandwich: It was like they took a basic Italian spaghetti and meat sauce then added a bunch of yummy African spices. Definitely a nice zing. A tad carby, but so good! Though I must say there were some skeptical reactions when I posted pics on social media. My recommendation is just try it yourself!Chicken Drumsticks Teranga: While the other dishes are tasty, they seem a bit sparse on protein. So adding these to your order is a nice way to upgrade your meal. It would just be a regular old baked drumstick, except for the delish sauce! It's got a nice tang and tons of spices. They should seriously sell bottles of that stuff to upgrade your chicken at home.Mango Kalamata Olive Salad: Kinda tastes like a regular salad, that happens to have fresh mangos in it. Lots of healthy veggies, but the least flavorful of the items I tried.Maafe Bowl: It wasn't the maafe I was expecting, but it was the maafe I needed. I thought it would have a stronger peanut taste, kinda like satay. Turned out to be packed with tons of flavors and just a little peanut undertones. It was hearty, thick and spicy. Pretty filling for vegetarian, with lots of nice chunks of root veggies and squash. I made sure to get every bit of that delicious sauce with the stray bits of rice left over.Love Potion: Lots of flavor in this little bottle. A little thick, so I added some sparkling mineral water in a glass with this and turned it into a refreshing spritzer. Though it's also enjoyable as a thicker drink by itself; flavor is not overwhelming just a bit of viscous texture.“

“Being a Gujarati and vegetarian, Besharam is a go to for us. It is one of the very few restaurant with veg tasting menu. However, we went ahead with a La carte menu.We started our dinner with mango lassi, chai and cocktails. The cocktail was mild, but the chai made me remember the tea stalls of Ahmedabad. I really loved the taste and the smell of cardamom coming from chai. For appetizers, we had drunken panipuri and pav bhaji puff. The panipuri was amazing however the name might be misleading. It is not at all drunken panipuri. They just add a drop of gin which is very hard to even taste. I wanted to try it by name but be aware it is very misleading. The Pav bhaji puffs were amazing with melt in mouth puff pastry. For mains we ordered, maska paneer, malai kofta, cheesy garlic naan and roti. The paneer was fresh and soft just like homemade paneer. Koftas were amazing. The roti was more like thepla. And for dessert we had Shrikhand Cheesecake. The cheesecake for super luxurious with perfect sweetness. They had added blueberry compote on the top which I think was unnecessary. It was not going with the flavors of the cheesecake. The overall experience was amazing.“

Please consider changing the food container option for third party delivery apps. I bet take outs picked up by eaters would be fine.
