What a great little find! It was great food. When I asked for a suggestion on wine; our waiter was so nice and asked me a few questions as to what I liked and gave me a great Pinot I loved! No judgements on my lack of familiarity with wines. The squid ink sauce was incredible!!!!
Neighborhood gem! I've lived in the neighborhood for a while and have been meaning to stop in and finally did and so glad I did. Menú is small, but dishes are delicious, fresh and flavorful. Sit inside or the covered back patio. Looking forward to returning again.
La Ciccia exceeded our expectations. Every dish highlighted incredibly fresh seafood and premium Italian ingredients. Beyond the food, the hospitality was unmatched—Cheryl the owner was so warm and fun to chat with, and Vadim provided exceptional service.

The service is generally kind, though water glasses may sometimes sit empty for too long. Food and service are consistently excellent, with the new owners doing a great job. The menu features a variety of delicious Sardinian dishes, including favorites like the pork sauce gnochetti, praised for its intense savory flavor and perfect texture. The lamb tenderloin is also excellent, though some guests wish for more vegetables to accompany it. The roe spaghetti and whole prawns are highly recommended, with the prawns served in generous portions and cooked to perfection. The owner is friendly and has been known to bring out special dishes, like the lamb, as a thoughtful gesture.
Vegetarian options are limited, mainly focusing on seafood and meat dishes, making vegan choices challenging. An outstanding meal included prosciutto, burrata, crackling bread, and the pasta special with an americanto-type sauce, all described as very authentic and delicious. Many guests plan to return, excited to enjoy favorite dishes like Pani Guttiau, Casisceddu e Rughitta, Malloreddus a sa Campidanese, Pasta Cruzza cun Arrizonis, Gamberoisi Arrustiusu, and Pezza de Angioni a sa Saba. Parking can be tricky, especially for larger cars, and the restaurant is casual enough for children above toddler age, though parents may need to ask about simple dishes.
