“Seven Hills opens their kitchen and welcomes you into their home. The truffle pasta is what my boyfriend and I come back for every single time. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and the food is made so fresh. Truly incredible tasty date night spot — book ahead of time for sure as it does get busy. The polpette is a must try as well, the sauce is incredible“
“Alolo..Lolos! Well, here you can start a great tour of all the docks!! This is located on the side of the expressway. It is somewhat difficult to find free parking, but there are private ones at a cost.$$I liked that it is like a food court and inside there is this Oyster bar. In fact we started with an Oyster cocktail that has mix, Cajun sauce and an Oyster cherry!! Once we had put on our gloves, we entered into a clam chowder... but the time passed quickly. Recommended.“
“Went to Scoma's for Restaurant Week 2024 and we were not disappointed! For people who don't know of Scoma's, its a classic San Francisco seafood restaurant on the pier. With the waiters still wearing white jackets and traditional wood panel walls, it encompasses everything you could recall from great restaurants from the past.Dinner was great, we started with a Dungeness crab cocktail, followed by a perfect bowl of clam chowder. Our main course was a fresh steamed Dungeness crab covered in a yummy garlic butter. And for desert we had one of the best cannoli I have ever had! The whole prefix dinner was $90 and worth every dime.“
“I don’t say this lightly. It was better than expected. Down to earth friendly people who serve some fantastic food. The highlight of my experience however was one of the waiters. Two of us ordered crab back. He brought us one. When we asked for another he said “honestly it’s pretty rich and I think one is enough. If you want another I can get you one but try that and tell me what you think first.” He was exactly right. It was perfect for two. Now, who does that in today’s world? Actually caring for the customer instead of selling another item and making more money. He didn’t upsell us because he knew his craft and he was a genuine guy. I respect that more than I can put in words. Class act and all around chill place. No pretense here. Normal guys serving exceptional food.“
“We had an amazing experience at Abrazo with our friends! We tried a lot of tapas and all of them were simply delicious. I would particularly recommend the charred octopus, croquetas, albondigas, and gambas. The paella was exceptional, it was one of the best I have ever had in the States. I enjoyed my Rioja a lot. The restaurant had a very lovely vibe and it reminded me of the restaurants in Madrid. The people were kind and the service was excellent. So, I would recommend Abraza to anyone around.“
“We were running a bit late but the owner was super accommodating and understanding and still accepted our reservation. On top of that the Staff are extremely friendly! Then we get to the food! It was phenomenal! We ordered several items and all were excellent! I have to say the Oysters were delicious but don't sleep on the fish-n-chips or the Crab sandwich!! All great!!“
“Fine dining price & portion but slightly underwhelming. Everything was good but not WOW. Service was mehWe enjoyed the bluefin tuna tostada and the sakura toast the most. The strawberry scallops were also great.Overall overpriced for what it is.Atmosphere was nice though.“
“La Ciccia is a gem of San Francisco. If you like Italian cuisine and you like seafood, you must try this Sardinian restaurant, featuring a seafood-heavy Italian cuisine that's unlike most Italian restaurants in the area.I thought the place closed, and only recently learned that the restaurant survived the original owners retiring. A real estate agent who lived a couple of blocks away and who was a regular customer decided to purchase the business. They kept all the staff, including the head chef. Supposedly, it was just as good as under the original owners. We were certainly pleased with our visit. We started with simply grilled squid and an order of their Sardinian flatbread, pane carasau. The flatbread reminds me of Indian papadam, but flavored with olive oil and intense rosemary. For her entree, Marcia got the house specialty -- homemade spaghetti with spicy olive oil and shaved bottarga (cured fish roe). Whenever we've gone to La Ciccia, at least one of us orders this dish, and in this visit, it did not disappoint.I decided to try something different and get the fettucine with a tomato and sea urchin sauce, topped with a shaving of cured tuna heart. I love Marcia's pasta with bottarga, but I'm so glad I tried something new. The sauce was amazing -- the tomatoes didn't overpower the sea urchin, and that wonderful flavor of the sea shined right through. For dessert, we split the chocolate panna cotta. It was fine. Marcia liked it more than me. Toasted hazelnuts added a nice texture and flavor to the dish.“
“Stepping into, one is immediately struck by its excellent ambiance, a blend of elegance and warmth that sets the stage for a memorable dining experience. The service, too, was impeccable, with attentive staff ready to cater to every need. However, the journey took a slight detour when our eagerly awaited dishes arrived, only to find them disappointingly cold. Despite the initial chill, the standout of the evening was undoubtedly the risotto. Served piping hot and bursting with flavor, it was a testament to the chef's skill and dedication. The fillet mignon, unfortunately, failed to meet expectations, arriving cold and lacking the desired tenderness. Even the truffle fries shared the same fate, arriving at our table with a noticeable chill. To their credit, the staff quickly acknowledged the oversight, going above and beyond to rectify the situation. Not only were we not charged for the subpar steak, but we were also treated to complimentary desserts. And what a treat they were! The desserts not only delighted the palate but also dazzled the eyes, a true testament to the artistry of the pastry chef. In conclusion, while the culinary journey had its ups and downs, the exceptional service and the culinary prowess showcased in dishes like the risotto and the stunning desserts left a lasting impression. With a bit more attention to detail in ensuring dishes are served at the appropriate temperature, Miller &Lux has the potential to truly shine as a culinary gem in the City“
“Every dish was delicious, original, flavorful, and memorable. Managed to not get over anchovies despite having it in almost every dish. Definitely recommend the gravlax, jerky, focaccia, and sundae. Duck schnitzel was good but not on par with the rest.“
“This is one of my favorites in the Marina. Constantly very high quality food. I almost don’t want to review it because I don’t want it to get too crowded. They are very close to getting a Michelin star! Omg get the pavlova for desert. Their fish is amazing too.“
“What a fish burrito! Perfectly cooked, and great flavor. I had the fried fish of the day with their signature hot sauce and it was perfect after a day of walking around. A must-stop if you are over by ocean beach.I went on rainy day which means seating wasn’t great as it’s a walk up restaurant with outdoor seating, but could imagine it on a beautiful sunny day. (On the plus side I got my food really fast).“
“Loved the ambiance here! Would come here for an occasion. Saw people on dates and with their friends/family! Waitress was incredibly nice and lovely. Wasn’t as amazed by food as I thought I’d be but would certainly return.Note: Parking was tough.“
“We just had a nice and quick dinner here. Cocktails and steak. Straight forward. Very decent place, tasty filet mignon, good mashed potatoes. Nice atmosphere and super friendly staff. Even the cocktails were really nice. And we got a place without reservation. So all in all a very nice experience.“
“My husband and I have been here for date nights. The food is great and drinks are unique and tasty. We had the sutro tower and the seafood was really fresh and delicious. We hope to come here more often since it is only a few blocks away, because why not?“
“Food, service, atmosphere all satisfactoryOrdered Jjajangmyeon, Jjambbong, sweet and sour pork, walnut shrimp, and fried dumplings.Everything was delicious and the portions were plentiful. The owner was really friendlyBe sure to find parking on the nearby streets, and be sure to bring your luggage with you to avoid getting lost!“
“What a wonderful, though pricey, lunch! We splurged and enjoyed every aspect of the experience. The caviar, Krug Champagne, oysters, and so forth paraded before us over the course of three hours. Of particular note is the fabulous wine list and the very helpful sommelier. We enjoyed a delicious Puligny-Montrachet, 2019.“
“If you want to eat cioppino in SF, this is the place. Garlic and spices combine with the flavor of seafood to create a rich flavor. The clam chowder and crab cakes are also delicious. You can't make reservations so you'll have to wait in line, but it's worth it. You can also take it home, so if you live nearby, you can take it out and make pasta with the leftover soup for a great deal and delicious?“
“Among many excellent Italian spots in the city, this stood out. The homemade pasta has the perfect texture, and the fillings and sauces are delicate and wonderful. Service was kind and attentive, and the space - a favorite when it was Locanda and Ancora - remains intimate and elegant. Looking forward to another opportunity to dine.“
“This restaurant feels like it exists somewhere in between what could be a local haunt and a tourist trap. It has a versatile yet contained menu that has a little bit of something for everyone. The burrata appetizer was perfectly executed for a place that isn't designated Italian, and the salad offerings really stood out. I had the ahi tuna and for $20 wish I had a couple more pieces of Ahi but the flavors and seasoning were fantastic. I especially loved the little pieces of sushi style ginger mixed within - delicious. It should also be noted that the service was exceptional, toeing the line between attentive and breathable to a T. They even had an extra kale salad made by accident and brought it over complimentary as we waited for the last of our party to arrive. A+“
“Hands down, literally the best dinner I've ever had! From the wine, to Bruschetta appetizer, to meat canneloni and the best tirimissu I've ever had. I'm remember this dinner for a long time! The service was unbeatable as well.. hidden gem!“

“There are not enough stars to describe the experience. The food was not only incredible but the presentation was beautiful. The service was magical from the hot towels to the goodie bag you go home with. The space is fabulous and I would go back in a heartbeat ?“
“Got a short notice reservation for a business meal, couldn't be happier. Good food, great service. Our gaucho, Pablo, did a great job and everything was tasty.Beware the lack of free refills on *anything*, even iced tea. They don't tell you up front, and it can be a bit of a shock to see $20 worth of non-alcoholic beverages on the bill.“
“Best oysters I’ve had since ones at a Michelin star restaurant in Copenhagen. Their homemade Serrano garlic hot sauce makes me never want any others on an oyster. The hot oyster selections were an equally as great choice, with the miso bone marrow reigning on top, but this place got my pescatarian girlfriend to try the Panchetta leaning hot oyster choice. The char the cauliflower makes me feel insecure in my own veggie or even meat searing abilities as they’ve achieved a perfect char. The halibut crudo was delicious but I do feel it lacked a bit of acid or citrus to really elevate it to what I expected. On top of the food the drinks were phenomenal, the white wine spritz tasted like the worlds best vanilla sprite or a creamsicle drink better than anything you could imagine, shoutout to our waiter for recommending The yuzu lavender drink was also an all star and was refreshing while sweet and danced over own tongues. The orange wine was also stunning an entry level close to a resiling that taught me orange wine is worth a shot.“
“Only stopped for quick breakfast near the Academy of arts San Francisco. Recommended by our Lyft Driver “UGUR” (Best Lift Driver in San Francisco) and Was the absolute best ever Veggie Omelette I’ve ever had in 70 years❤️Vegetarian options: Loved the Flavor of the Veggie’s In Omelette“
“I've been a fan of the Burma Club/Love/Superstar family of restaurants since before the pandemic. They're one of my top go-to's that I like to take friends to.Service is great, and staff are prepared to recommend what to order and accommodate dietary restrictions. The Laphet (green tea leaf) salad is a must on the menu. They mix it tableside, which provides a creative visual experience that precedes the delicious gustatory experience that follows. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. It's rare that everything at one place tastes delicious, but this place is the exception.“
“Get hooked on the ocean views and fresh seafood at this legendary San Francisco spot! Everything we had was spectacular! Calamari was lightly fried and fresh. Wedge salad was flavourful and crisp. The grilled octopus was my favorite, perfectly grilled with some char on a romescu sauce. But the cioppino is the reason we went. I regrets, this was a tomato based seafood dish, bursting with flavour and succulent seafood. Unlike any other seafood stews, all of the seafood was perfectly cooked and not over done or chewy. This was what we expected as an iconic San Francisco experience and we were still beyond impressed!“
“So so belated.Going to the United States has always been a dream. This is a so belated review of Sotto Mare, because I didn't want it to end by leaving a review. We trudged in before 7pm on a weekday during the Xmas season 3 years ago. It was warm, cosy and the service staff was in the midst of changing shift. We saw the high fives, the banter which we only see in movies or tv shows. We sat, and ordered the seafood stew.... It was so good... Rich in broth, filled almost to the brim with subterranean friends, paied with rice.We loved it. Me and my partner thought it one of the ravishing highlights of our 4 nights in SF....maybe for once but thank you. Our one time in San Francisco, we dined and am so happy.“
“I came here last night for date night dinner and it was so good. My husband has been on this fish and chips thing lately and this is favorite by far.*The fish was tender and the outside was crisp and light. French fries were nice and hot.The tartar sauce and was also light and not too heavy on the mayo.* clam chowder the bowl size is perfect for sharing. Nice clumps of potatoes and seafood*lobster roll the bread had a nice sweetness and butter. Crispy and light. The lobster was fresh and sweet. Good portion as well when it came to the lobster. The seating is comfortable for small groups and the wait staff is very friendly.I can’t wait to have another date night!“
“My wife and I ate here for her birthday and it was a fantastic choice. We had the bone marrow, escargot, and croquettes to start. She had the flounder and I ate the Quail Pie. Everything was fantastic and I was very satisfied with my choice of the Quail Pie. Service was great and my wife enjoyed it immensely.“
“The dinner prix fixe was stellar. Each dish was special and interesting, and balanced. The care that the staff gave us was personal and thoughtful, and they tailored to our dietary restrictions.Dietary restrictions: Extremely accommodating to dietary restrictions. Just share with your server!“
“Honestly the best Italian place we’ve been in SF. We were looking for somewhere close so we decided to give it a shot and the service was amazing. I’ve never had such kind welcoming people at a restaurant. The food was also amazing and so quick. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an Italian place.“
“Incomparable place, excellent service, incredibly delicious food, as for a tourist who is here for the second day, I want to say this place made an incredible impression on me, I wanted to come back again ❤️ I will come again to dine again “
“Luke's Lobster is located in the heart of the city and jt offers a taste of Maine's famous lobster. Lobster rolls are filled with generous portions of tender lobster meat and served on buttery, toasted rolls. The menu also includes other seafood options such as shrimp and crab rolls, chowders and salads. I find small shrimp roll to be very filling as a lunch option. Crab roll, based on other Bodega Bay restaurants I visited, is just ok. I only had it once. The casual atmosphere of the restaurant adds to the overall experience.“
“El lugar y el servicio fueron excelentes . La comida estuvo algo picante y condimentada . Gracias al servicio de Chris y Juan que resolvieron todo y la noche fue maravillosa . Nos dieron una sorpresa por ser nuestro aniversario que fue súper linda .“
“Great food to enjoy in a great atmosphere, and the restaurant has great location, too. You can request for a window view to see the sea lion or patio view where you just enjoy the touristy atmosphere.Service is quick. Everyone moves fast. The food was all incredible!Vegetarian options: Some what recommend since they do have salad and vegan dishes.Kid-friendliness: Kid’s menu and high chairsWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair entrance and tables“
“We were in town for just a few days and discovered this amazing dim sum on our last day…of course we had to heat there for lunch AND dinner. Everything we had was so fresh, and had a depth of flavor and authenticity that just isn’t that common. Do yourself a favor and eat here as soon as you can, and often.“
“We decided to visit Sura Sushi for a casual workday late dinner. Our experience was nothing short of delightful. We started with Buri Daikon soup, which provided comforting warmth.Opting for a selection of Nigiri and Sashimi, we were thoroughly impressed. Each piece showcased the freshness and quality of the ingredients. From the Chu Toro to the O Tor, Engawa to Sunazuri, and Hotate, every bite was a symphony of flavors and freshness. Highly recommend this place.“
“Love their cheap poke! We do feel like they could've given us a little bit more in each portion though. Only issue was the 25 cents they charged for the bag without asking us first... We brought a bag with us and were holding it throughout ordering, paying, and waiting. 25 cents isn't the end of the world but asking us first would be nice (and good for the environment).“
“Husband and I had dinner here, was seated according reservation, very polite and professional staff. food was delicious, husband had petite Filet Mignon, I ordered the special Bone in filet. Both were juicy and full of flavor. It was cooked according to preference, we both loved it. had some sides, creamy spinach and portabella mushrooms, perfect. with the steaks, enjoyed the garlic fries and bread with old fashions to start. We ended with dessert and coffee. would highly recommend for birthday, date night, or just because you want to enjoy a amazing steak. We ate here for the first time when it opened way back in early 2000's and it hasn't disappointed us at all. very consistent to who they are and what they serve. luv it!“
“Excellent food and service at this Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant in the Sunset area. We shared a set menu of Roasted Dungeness Crab that came with a small but delicious Cabbage Chicken Salad (Goi Ga), Imperial Rolls (Cha Gio), and buttery Garlic Fried Noodles. The Fried Chicken Wings were crispy but on the sweet side. The food came out promptly and our waitress was friendly and checked on us frequently. Prices were on par with other similar SF establishments. Reservations are recommended, as the restaurant was full on a rainy weeknight when we were thefe. Parking was rather hard to find, so give yourself time, or better yet, don't drive!“
“Food was good, ordered the chefs tasting course meal , service was ok , previous experience was better , nice ambiance , but was notified by one the employees that one of the heater was not working because it will turn off and just gas comes out but earlier went asked to turn them on they turned so we were exposed to gas for a little bit“
“Came for SF restaurant week! Started with house vermut, and it was satisfying. Hint of being back in Spain! Serrano - okay, enjoyed the pan con tomate, wanted more. Manchego- comes with 2 carb types, both tasty! Bombas de arroz - fun fritters! Enjoyed this. Croquettes - small, unexpected sweetness! Gambas - poached prawns in garlic chili and crispy bread! Carrilladas - braised pork cheeks, soft and savory! Over a tasty bed of potatoes, peas, and carrots! Crema catalana- the cream brûlée, doesn't required the spoon to crack the sugar topping.“
“Absolutely fantastic! That would be our summed up review. With the white interior and glass counters displaying all seafiidnavailablenfornthe day, the first impression was an upscale fish shop. With small tables on the side, we ordered our selections at the small counter, prepaid, and Satoko at one of the tables. Not crowded on a Saturday morning but many people came by to buy back. 4 types of oysters were available that morning so we had a half-dozen each (Miyagi, St. Simon, Standard Shore, and Kusshi). Few places offer oysters this early in the morning. Fresh and delicious. Kusshis remain our favorite, small but tasty! The clam chowder was rich and creamy. We shared a 16oz. It was filled with clams and potato... so much goodness! The Spanish Octopus Carpaccio was delightfully presented and in a generous portion. Sliced really thin, tasted fresh, not as chewy as one would expect. One of the best ways to eat octopus, I think. Last but not least, the Hamachi Crudo. This was AMAZING! I cannot describe it well enough with words. Fresh hamachi of course, with peppers, nuts (beware if you have allergies), caramelized onions, dill, and a bed of thick gravy-like dressing that perfectly accompanied the hamachi. Excellent dish!“
“Stopped here for a quick lunch while visiting family at CPMC. I enjoy finding different cuisines when in SF and Piroo was a great find. While they don’t have an extensive menu, they have more than enough options to suit any tastes. I had the pork jhol momo and it was great. Just the right amount of savory and spice to make it memorable. They also serve beer and wine to round out your meal.“
“Walked in to the quiet and unassuming location and left sated and with an overly full belly!I began with a spicy tako salad - a perfect mix of tako, cucumber, seawead and a sprig of mint. Enough spice to feel for a few minutes afterwards while my sushi was being prepared.First up was a trio of Salmon belly, Hamachi belly, and Toro. Each one was more delicated and delicious than the previous. Next were two great pieces of Ama Ebi with perfectly fried heads. The Sexy Roll followed - a mixture of Hamachi and avacado topped with more Hamachi, Green tobiko and jalapeno. My desert round was Mackerel, Scallop, and the Buddhilicous Roll. The service was exceptional and the value for what I paid was outstanding. My only negative was self-inflicted and that's because I only found this spot on my last free evening in town.I'll be back for sure...“
“Stopped in with my buddy before a Warriors game. Place is open, spacious and well lit so it's very inviting. We quickly found a seat at the bar for two about 20-30 min before game time. Ordered a few beers (great beer selection) and were sipping on drinks within 10 minutes of waking in the door. People sitting next us at bar were friendly and bartender (also part owner) was extremely helpful and attentive while we're there. We had already eaten but food on menu and at people tables looked very good. Will definitely make sure to stop by here next time I'm in the area with a little more time to dive into food and wine/beer menu.“
“Have been wanting to try this for so long. Finally made my way here. Exceeded my expectations. I love all types of asian food. Fusion is generally hard to do well. Elevated fusion is even harder. Everything was really unique and delicious.“
