The food was outstanding! We however went for our anniversary meal, and were wisked in and out in 50 minutes! Plates were wisked away seconds after they came, we literally twice had the food in our hands mid-bite when plates were taken away, some with food still in them. We tried to slow it down and keep food in the plates so we could talk, but as soon as we lifted a piece, whish- gone and another plate in its place. Turning over tables overtly or bad timing, I'm not sure.
I was a solo diner and sat at the counter. It turns out that The Anchovy Bar loves solo diners. They offer half portion entrees and desserts - I had the amazing patatas bravas, salmon perfectly cooked and the sundae. The portion size was perfect for me. I watched the amazing crew make my orders, the waitstaff was so friendly - it was a great experience.
This is the “go to” for my wife and I. Wonderful menu. Great, eclectic wine list. Knowledgeable servers. Its just a wonderful place to spend a meal with friend, family, loved one, anyone, or even by yourself!

The anchovy toast is a must-try—surprisingly fresh and not fishy at all, with a beautiful presentation.
