“For açaí bowls and smoothies, the Richmond's Palmettos is slightly bigger than the one in the Marina, with a nice section that has benches for people to sit and eat indoors. Also has a clean bathroom facility. You get to pick your own ingredients and get a custom made delicious treat. Everything tastes fresh and refreshing. Service is efficient. The store's vibe is vibrant and clean. One in the Richmond'shas more families on weekends whereas the one in the Marina has more joggers - saw some good-looking police officers at this hip joint!“

“Our experience at Shizen was amazing. It was the first time I tried a vegan sushi bar and the sushis were fabulous. We ordered the following things:1. Nameko Mushroom Miso Soup: The soup fell below our expectations. The miso’s flavour could be more powerful. We could taste the water and honestly, were disappointed with the flavour as the miso was really diluted. The soup could taste way better if there was more flavour of Miso.2. Secret Weapon: We loved this sushi. The spicy shredded tofu and the habanero sauce added a kick. After a point my lips were burning because of the spicy-ness of the habanero sauce but I was low-key loving it. Just an advise for people who don’t like spicy food that much - please don’t let the habanero touch your lips first ?3. Missing Piece: We really liked this sushi roll as well. I really like soy sauce so I dipped the sushi in it, just to realise that the soy sauce had way too much sodium. Would recommend if they could keep a less sodium version of the soy sauce. The ginger shavings were really nice and helped to bring out the flavour of the sushi more.4. Boddy and Soul: This was the star highlight of our evening. An absolute burst of flavours. We could not stop making noises while eating this sushi roll. The tempura crunch was just straight outta heaven. It did not need any add ons. It was simply amazing and we are coming to this restaurant just to eat this roll again. All in all, it was a great experience and we will definitely be visiting soon to try other things on the menu. Personally found it expensive (spent $85 between 2 people with tip for 3 specialty sushi rolls + the soup) but the taste makes up for it, I guess.“

“Ordered delivery to Mission, food arrived hot although smoothie melted quickly. LOVED everything (except the potstickers - I expected jiaozi but these were something like funnel cake crossed with egg rolls? I don't like this much fried stuff). Highly recommend the "spicy" sweet potato curry (not too spicy for a Midwestern white girl!) and Mongolian soy dish (again, slightly spicy in a good way). Brown rice was the yummy purple kind! Berry banana smoothie was not too sweet and quite tasty (very banana). Baozi was large and very tasty, although I like an even higher filling:bread ratio, and was slightly disappointed that there was only one. Mocha almond cake was moist and nicely dense and not too sweet, with yummy yummy mocha frosting! Thanks for all the delicious vegan food, we will order again! :D“

“Wildseed shines as a gem in the vegetarian dining scene, blending exquisite flavors with an inviting atmosphere. Upon entering, guests are greeted by an ambiance that balances chic elegance with a cozy vibe, setting the stage for a remarkable culinary journey. The menu, a showcase of the chefs' creativity, features standout dishes like the innovative potato pizza, a crispy, savory delight; the spicy yellow curry, rich and perfectly balanced with heat; and the Brussels sprouts with kimchi, a fusion dish that surprises and delights with its bold flavors and textures. While the food takes center stage, Wildseed's service and atmosphere contribute significantly to the dining experience. Staff members are enthusiastic and attentive, making every diner feel special and well-cared for. The restaurant's commitment to quality and the freshness of its ingredients is evident in every dish, making each bite a celebration of plant-based cuisine. The sole critique would be the presence of big flies in the gents bathroom, a minor issue in an otherwise impeccable visit. This slight inconvenience does little to mar the overall excellence of Wildseed, where culinary artistry, exceptional service, and a warm ambiance come together to create a memorable dining experience. Whether you're a vegetarian or simply a lover of great food and atmosphere, Wildseed promises an unforgettable visit, standing out as a beacon of culinary innovation and delight.“

“Hidden takeout spot inside a spacious Dogpatch building. Loved the larb tofu, the flavors, the crispiness. The broccoli was okay, a bit bitter, almost as if the seasoning was slightly burnt. The Vegan Hood Chefs Vegan
San Francisco

“Loving their vibe of putting taste first in their vegan creations. Also, much appreciation for their rotating menu where they get to show off new innovations. Can be a little slow though since they stagger the order taking and there's a little cooking backlog, but guess that's just a testament of how fresh-to-order everything is. Cajun Crunch Wrap Supreme w/ Vegan Lamb: I can't believe this is vegan! It tastes just like Crunchwrap Supreme from Taco Bell. Except maybe better thanks to the creamy sauces drizzled on top. Especially loved the crispy seared tortilla against the smoky ground "lamb". And it's very filling, like I went to lunch hungry and felt quite full after just this. Every single bite was full of such wonderful flavor.Korean "Beef" Bowl: Lion's Mane Mushrooms are used as the "Beef" and are packed with great marinade and umami flavor. Though the texture is still like cooked mushroom, so not as beefy as real beef or even fake meat and there's a general feeling that's there's little-to-no protein. The garlic noodles were so flavorful, definitely a ton of garlic. The thick udon-like shape was an interesting choice and worked well for a hearty chew. I liked that there was some grilled squash and red cabbage for veggie contrast, but not a huge portion so not to overwhelm the noodles. Everything together tasted great, though seemed a bit high in sodium.“

“I'll start by saying that I really love NLB and NLC, the food is so dang good. I'm giving four stars because they clucked up one of the things we ordered. The Cali Cluckwich came with no tempeh bacon or avocado added on, and we didn't have time to get it fixed because we were crunched for time on a work lunch break. Without the extra ingredients added, it was a little plain and just a classic cluckwich. We didn't even have time to get a refund or anything.Other than that, taste-wise the food was good. Also, I've always loved the customer service at the San Francisco location, the employees are always so happy and friendly.Hunny Hickory TenderClucks were delicious. I chose all fries, no slaw, and it might have been one of the largest sides of fries I've ever got at a restaurant.Vegetarian options: Fully vegan! Awesome!“

“Everything was euphorically delicious. An explosion of aromas, spices, and flavors. We asked for extra spicy for the Lamb Vindaloo. They were not messing around. Once you take a bite, you are able to taste all the fragrant spices and wonderful flavors and then the spiciness creeps up and kicks you with that burn, but you can't stop eating. Instead of just one server, we had two very attentive and friendly servers. They were very efficient as well. Our order was taken quickly. The drinks arrived quickly. “Beloved’s intimate interior, sweet music and aroma of cinnamon and cardamom surprised me. It’s a compact dose of serenity after the churn of 24th and Mission.I ordered the Beloved Latte with turmeric, ghee and nut milk, no sugar (minus one star for no decaf) at $9 and the Masala Cacao Ball at $7.High prices for sure, as other reviews have mentioned, but where do you find this in the Mission? I just moved here a month ago from Marin and four cafes in the Mission I have tried so far have been tired, dirty and run down. What’s up with that? I thought the tech bros were bringing up the value here.In contrast, I think Beloved represents the heartfelt, positive vibe of conscious living. This cafe packs a lot into a small space. Pressed Juicery Juice

“I went here after trying a "low glycemic" cleanse at Urban Remedy, which was an overpriced, disgusting mistake. I'm new to juice cleanses this year and can't claim to love them. The Pressed ones at least taste a lot better, especially the Blue Horchata, Vanilla Almond milk, Citrus 3 and Roots 3. Cleanses are good ways to curb eating habits after consuming only liquids for 1-3 days, but they certainly do not elevate my mood or make my skin glow. A friend of mine noted just how freaking out of it I was on day two. I like "Pressed" though because not only does delivery work a lot like ordering a meal, but they're priced quite affordably in the realm of juice cleanses, and many bottles are available at various grocery stores if you want to get an extra juice or two.“

“This is the definition of a delicious Indian hole in the wall restaurant. I can’t understand some of the bad reviews - I eat here all the time, and tried some great Indian food around the world (Europe, India, Thailand, Singapore) and all the “best” Indian restaurants in SF. This is definitely in the top 2-3 in SF and recently finally getting recognition in some of the local foodie articles. It’s family owned for decades and serves authentic Indian food with a homemade style. Great thing is it’s not doused in oil and butter, like most places, it’s really clean and more flavorful without the added fat. Inside its no frills cozy and service is great. You can customize the spice for all the dishes and they got Indian beer with sports usually playing quietly on the TV’s.Butter chicken is the best, it has a deep red sauce full of flavor and isn’t over poweringly buttery like other places - it’s almost like a hybrid tikka masala and butter chicken. I wish it had a bit more chicken though. Mixed vegetable and saag paneer are also delicious.Samosas are also really good - perfect size, crispy slim thickness, and nicely full flavored with spices.Tikka masala is pretty good but not as good as the butter chicken.Don’t sleep on this place - definitely a must try and easily can become your regular go to joint“
