They only use whole beans, which I prefer, and the simple "vegetarian burrito" is so flavorful and sustaining. They also have a good selection of excellent agua frescas. And all reasonably priced. “Had high hopes coming here and it was good, but came short of all the hype in my opinion.
The dishes were good and service was good, however it’s trying to mimic Michelin starred restaurants in the atmosphere, setting, and service, but came short of that on the food.
Desserts were Definetly the weakest link, but they had an excellent wine selection“

“We have been going to Pizetta for too many years to count now. Always yummy, craveable pizzas and interesting starters - not your ordinary starters. They are ever-changing and highlight whatever was freshest from the farmer's market. Don't forget the desserts which include always-available options as well as specials. They can get busy (because they are just that good) but, we think, it's well worth the wait. Wish they'd open other locations but understand the desire to stay small and true to their roots.“

“This place was recommended to me, and seeing that there was a line out the door 2 days in a row, I decided to give it a try. I was very disappointed. First, I had to pay and leave my tip before I even got to sit down. I had ordered a cappuccino and it came in an espresso cup. There must have 8-10 waitstaff and not one person asked how I was doing. Big disappointment there. My food was OK had good flavors, but crust from bread was so tuff my knife didn't even wa
nt to cut through it. Then there was the cold pear sauce on my warm French toast. I had to ask about the bacon I had ordered because it was not sent out with my meal. It looked like they threw it on the plate. Anyway I won't go back. Not worth it. Not recommended, save your money for another place.“

“Excellent food. We loved most of the dishes. They were prepared with utmost care and excelled in presentation. We liked most of the dishes - particularly the spreads, bread, and the entrees. The service in general was good, but for a Michelin, we expected a bit better - the door was mostly left open and we felt like we were staring at the streets while having dinner. We suggest anyone who books to ask for better seating during reservation itself.“

Loved the old school, no-frill vibes of the shop. They sold merchandise, olive oil, cans of tomato sauce, their own dough on the counter. I ordered a pizza focaccia and for the size you get it's absolutely worth it. The dough itself is very soft, fluffy and bready while the ingredients didn't exactly have a pizza flavor, but it was still delicious. I lightly toasted it a few days afterwards and I loved how it came out.

Overall, a staple in the neighborhood for a reason. Homemade goodness. Good customer service. Highly recommend going.“

She shared fascinating stories about her relationship with food, the inspirations behind each course, and her experience as a restaurant owner in the Tenderloin. Her passion for culinary arts and dedication to her community were obvious.

Many potential patrons unfairly dismiss her restaurant due to its location, overlooking the exceptional culinary experience it offers. Despite this, she remains committed to her vision and to making a positive impact in the neighborhood. For mains, the cod was delicious with authentic Kerala flavors, while the lamb shoulder was flavorful but could have been a bit more tender. “We’re tourists who came all the way from Fisherman’s Wharf to find a gluten-free lobster roll. We were so impressed with this place! A good serving of meat and not overpowered with mayo or butter. Mary provided really excellent service, even when we accidentally spilled a drink all over the floor. This was a great find and definitely worth a $20 uber.
