“I've been coming for breakfast and lunch every other week for the past several months. The food is tasty and prepared with care, and the service is very good. The bagel with lox is generously portioned with plenty of capers and onions. The breakfast burrito is tasty and very balanced between the chorizo and other ingrediets. All the sandwiches have a great balance of ingredients, are generous, but not oversized. The house coffees are nice blends. What I mean by prepared with care is that nothing is greasy or over salty, meaning it is purposely prepared and assembled carefully, and ingredients chosen and the dish seasoned with attention so the end result is great. Take the breakfast burrito, for example - most places, there would be grease and juices dripping out, but Ruby's is very clean and tasty - you can eat with one hand without worrying it will drip onto your arm.“

The staff is so nice and makes you feel like family as soon as you walk in - they also make pastries and fresh smoothies/juices that are delightful (no added sugars, super refreshing!) It's a small, cozy shop with outdoor and window seating right next to the stanford hospital so it's convenient for me. Will always come here when i'm in the area and get a dozen to take home for the week!“

“I finally decided to give Saucey Asian a try, and it definitely lived up to the hype!

The food came out fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. Every dish we ordered was well-seasoned, the portions were generous, and you can tell they don’t skimp on quality. It’s one of those places where everything on the table makes you want “just one more bite.”

The atmosphere was casual, fun, and perfect for grabbing dinner with friends or family. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.

The food was amazing! Delicious. It was expensive for an Indian restaurant. But u understand since it’s in a prime location. The staff were kind and friendly. They gave honest recommendations about what to order and the potions. I would definitely go back! :)

“Place been here since I was a kid my first time trying Mexican food was here and high street this is real Oakland taqueria tacos burritos I'll love to see the menu expand been coming here since 2002 moved to east Oakland so hard to get here“

“We had dinner there tonight (3/14/24) for the first time and we will be back. Two of the most interesting and truly delicious sandwiches we have ever eaten. I can't remember what mine was called, but it had chicken (roasted perfectly), sauerkraut, cheese and other awesome stuff on a grilled rye bread that was excellent. My bride had the turkey sandwich and loved it. But the star of the show were the Tater Tots. Perfectly crisp with BBQ sauce to dip them in and then into some wonderful real bacon bits. Every tot stayed crisp from the first to the last. The meal was worth every penny and more. Get into the Alameda location and try it. You won't be sorry. PS: The only bad part for me is that we live in Seattle and won't be back down until May. But you can bet I will be eating here then.“

“Came here with my girlfriend on a Friday night, and we had a great time. Reservations are pretty much required, so set that up ahead of time!

The location and decorum were both amazing. Views of the water while enjoying a meal with friends or loved ones - can't beat it!

They have a colorful selection of drinks, but they're not cheap so be warned! I had the guava Mai Tai which was delicious.

The food was outstanding. The Hawaiin fried rice is better than I expected - I could eat a mountain of it on any given day! The beef/reef skewers and pork chop were good too, so I'm excited to try something else next time.“

“I used to prefer Subway but one day I decided to try ToGo's at the Christie Ave. Emeryville location and due to the pleasantry friendliness great tasting sandwiches and salads, from that day on I have not stopped going to that location. The staff works very hard, they're super friendly and make your sandwiches and salad with so much care you can taste it in the food. “Chinatown can be a daunting place to dine in San Francisco due to its vast authentic cuisine which is unlike anything outside of China itself. I don’t speak or read any of the dialect, but somehow managed to order food and drink that was delicious. I’m pretty sure that we created much amusement for the other diners who were rather interested in the ‘foreigners’ selections. Hey, we’re tourists from the UK enjoying our adventures and are used to ridicule thanks to our lousy corrupt government, it was no big deal. Chinatown, great cuisine in very different surroundings. Highly recommended.“

“The food is the best Chinese cuisine I've had in the U.S., nearly rivaling the meals I've enjoyed in Hong Kong and China. The ingredients are exceptionally fresh, with high-quality meats and seafood, and there wasn't a single dish that wasn't delicious. Our group of four are all devoted fans of Chinese food, so we ordered an extensive selection from the lunch and dim sum menus, along with one outstanding entrée from the dinner menu. I can't recommend specific dishes because everything we tried was excellent. Beyond the food, the ambience is lovely, with a gorgeous setting right on the bay, not merely overlooking it, but sitting only about 10 feet from the water. The restaurant is spacious and impressive, located on a spit of land at the very end of Emeryville. It's also an excellent choice for larger gatherings. I've dined here several times over the years but hadn't been back in quite a while, and I was pleased to see that the restaurant has noticeably upgraded its presentation and service. The menus are new and laminated with clear photos and explanations, the chairs are exceptionally comfortable with beautiful slipcovers, there's a bar I hadn't noticed on previous visits, and the waitstaff is better trained. Although our food took a while to arrive when the restaurant wasn't full, it was well worth the wait. As for pricing, the prices are considerably higher than we are used to, but they are fully justified by the quality of the food. We ordered far more than we could eat because I wanted to taste as many dishes as possible. The next time, I'll try another 10 dishes that I haven't had previously. Thank you, Hong Kong East Ocean!“
