Hey, we’re tourists from the UK enjoying our adventures and are used to ridicule thanks to our lousy corrupt government, it was no big deal. Chinatown, great cuisine in very different surroundings. I've been patroning this location ever since moving to this fine City and honestly the pizza quality has gone down over time. The chefs have become totally salt-blind. And they make the wildest pizzas I've never conceived of. They need to tone it down a little bit. Make pizzas people enjoy.

The pizza in question tonight had olives, capers, anchovies, and garlic. High sodium was expected, yes, but not like this.

Easily the saltiest olives I've ever had. And the anchovy texture was horrid. Today I learned I do not like my anchovies baked to a dry leather. Fresh-out-the-tin for me only, from now on. I think I've had enough salt for the whole week!!“

“Excellent pizza with an excellent under carriage. Nice charred bit on the crust. They put fresh basil on the cooked pizza with adds a nice herbaceous finish. The sauce has a nice mix of sweet and sour flavors that pairs nicely with the pepperoni. The Parmesan shaved on top is great touch. The inside does have an industrial vibe.“

But rarely do I review a salad: the apple endive salad with frozen/sliced/dehydrated prosciutto…MUAAA! The apples were perfectly sliced thin and the tarragon vinaigrette (not overdressed) with the blue cheese crumble and pistachios were proportioned and balanced to taste not visuals. Will try to recreate at home but next time, I’m…not…sharing!! 😂

For those that don't know, she was the right arm for Toni Gemignani, arguably the most famous pizza maker on the planet, through a whole bunch of his concepts since the beginning of both of their careers. She opened her own place in Berkeley and it's great to see her continuing to thrive at the level she did with Tony. Also the food is really good. The sleeper here might be the pasta which gets as much love as the pizzas.“

The cider selection was actually more diverse than the pizza selection which was liiiiit. And you can get it in a pitcher. Only downside was it was supper expensive and you even have to pay for the sauces on the side.“
