“My mom and I had lunch at Arthur Mac’s today and the service was exceptional! The worker really took care of us. I had my baby strapped to me and was not able to move so easy. As we were leaving, my mom attempted to put our leftover pizza box in the stoller but it couldn’t fit, so we asked the worker to downsize our pizza box. He quickly got the smaller box, put on gloves and helped my mom transfer the pizza to the new box. He was very attentive to our needs. Appreciate his help!“

“Chinatown can be a daunting place to dine in San Francisco due to its vast authentic cuisine which is unlike anything outside of China itself. I don’t speak or read any of the dialect, but somehow managed to order food and drink that was delicious. I’m pretty sure that we created much amusement for the other diners who were rather interested in the ‘foreigners’ selections. Hey, we’re tourists from the UK enjoying our adventures and are used to ridicule thanks to our lousy corrupt government, it was no big deal. Chinatown, great cuisine in very different surroundings. Highly recommended.“

“I am a religious advocate of the Valencia location, so my first visit to this one was held with high expectations. I learned that each location is different and prices differently. I typically love the city sourdough rounds, but at the time I went, they only had longer, narrower loaves that were a dollar more. I also got a cheese roll. The bread was good and the cheese roll was acceptable. I generally like to get chai and a slice, but neither of these options seemed appetizing at the time. I went later in the day and the lack of foot traffic didn't indicate that the pizza was very fresh. The staff was helpful, but it wasn't as welcoming of an experience as I get at my main location. My brief transaction got me what I needed with no frills. It's certainly not a place I would lounge and enjoy a quick bite at. However, the product was satisfactory. Hard to beat that Valencia energy!“

“State flour is a must if you’re in the Berkeley area! It’s up there with some of the best in terms of quality and balance of flavors. A delicious and well-seasoned crust, perfectly portioned toppings, and also great service! It can get very crowded so it was just loud and hard to hear but atmosphere aside, the pizza and service is top tier. I could see myself ordering this to go and it being a great time.
