Absolutely wonderful and interesting meal. We walked in on a Tuesday and were seated at the bar within 30 minutes. The arancini were perfectly crisp. We had 2 pastas, the braised squid pasta had a subtle spice. And the pizza... I would eat their pizza all the time if I lived nearby. The space is small and modern, a bit loud but the service was perfect.
Excellent vibes and impeccable service. This was my second time doing their tasting menu. It’s an amazing experience — however, as a vegetarian, my menu was less thought out than that of my fellow guests. It seemed like every vegetarian pasta relied on mushrooms. Don’t get me wrong, I love mushrooms, but as part of a 9-10 course tasting menu I really was craving more variety. All I could think about was a hot bowl of tortellini soup, a simple salad with right out of the oven french bread, and Flour + Water was the spot! Old Greener Gage, Basker Hobbins and I took the Pilot House 70 miles out to the Cordell Bank and another 30 or so all the way to the Gumdrop lookin for Blue Fin Tuna.
