50 Best Pizza Restaurants in Oakland

“Easily one of the best pizza shops in the Bay. However, the girl at the cash register needs to learn how to manage and triage customer requests better.

I asked for extra burrata on my pizza and was completely willing to pay for it. She looked at me dumbfounded, as if I had asked her to send a rocket to the moon. She said it was the first time anyone had ever asked for that and that she wasn’t sure if she could do it. So I asked if she could get someone who could figure out how to charge me for an extra ball of burrata. She basically ignored the request and said nothing else.

That kinda bugged me. If you don’t know how to do something, fine, but ask someone who does. I’m literally standing there offering to give you more money. I probably would’ve paid up to $8 for this ball of cheese. Make shit happen!

She did ultimately give me extra parm on the side, but she also wrote “extra cheese” on my ticket, and holy hell, they made the pizza look like Zermatt after a snowstorm with the amount of parm they grated over it.

Still would’ve preferred the extra ball of burrata…

They need someone at the register who is a little more sociable and willing to figure shit out for the customer instead of just shutting down when someone makes a slightly unusual request.

I’ll absolutely come again because the pizza is that good, but goddamn, I won’t be making any more complicated requests like “can I pay you for an extra ball of burrata?” Apparently that gets you looked at like you just asked them to commit a war crime.“

Best wings I've ever had delivered, and the pizza is really good as well. plenty of toppings, and so far I've only had great experiences with them. Great combo price deals too!“

“ok so at first i didnt know this place was even a thing but the pizza we order was very good and there was code on our coupon and we used and it said we could get a free 2 liters bottle soda but we used it to knock down the price and so when we went to go pick up the pizza and we told the worker about the coupon and ect and they told us since we used the code to knock down the price if we wanted the bottle soda we would have to pay 5 bucks for it so we decided to leave the place and we arent coming back to this place“

The staff were very friendly and generous with time and information. they welcomed me into the neighborhood since I am new to the Keller area and wanted to find local foods. I tried the pepperoni and vegetarian pizza slices. I'm really glad this place is here and it has a diverse menu. Not an eat in place and the location is busy with lots of diversions. “I love this place. I have been coming here for over 2 years. The lunch buffet all you can eat salad and pizza is really affordable with a huge variety. I enjoy the atmosphere with its freindly vibe, good views and calm location. They have tvs left on sports if you like that but its never to loud. Clean bathrooms, and very clean salad bar and over all place in general. If you go here you might as well go across the street to the Mormon temple to check out the views and garden. But the pizza and salad is just great. Parking is easy and you can get off highway 13 easy and get back on. And if you feel like a hike just go right above it half a mile to juaquin miller park.“

“This location is the best pizza service in Oakland. I used to do Domino’s but their app switched me to a location south of the lake which doesn’t abide by corporate policy to leave the order at the door if indicated by the customer in the app. Whereas this location abides by corporate policy and indeed follows customers’ instructions if they want their orders left at their doors. And the food is 1000% better too. For the same price you get twice as much food as Domino’s and it’s not loaded with salt.“
