“Decent Mediterranean spot in Montclair for a quick bite. They have some seating inside. I got a Philly and falafel for about $25. Portions are huge and took me a meal and a half to finish. No toum (garlic sauce). Nice staff. Will likely try a plate next time.“

“I had the Chicken Mix Bowl with the smokey chipotle sauce and it was AMAZING. I am allergic to dairy, gluten, and soy so being able to not worry about that with my meal was so nice. I also have ARFID (avoidant restrictive food intake disorder) and have a really hard with certain textures, usually chicken is really hard for me to eat but I had no issues with this chicken!! The texture was consistent all the way through, pulled apart really easily, and was just overall amazing. The portions are really good and the food is very flavorful. I'm really happy with my meal. Thank you guys for the amazing food. I highly recommend this place!!“

“East Oakland hood staple for dry fried ribs, chow mein, sweet & sour, and everything Chinese food. It's an old school hole in the wall. Mom and Pops owned joint. Food is always good, affordable, and on point.
They have Combo meals for a nice and fair price.“

“I absolutely love this place! I had the best fish sandwich I've had in a long time. I was just driving by when I noticed this restaurant, so I decided to stop and order their fish sandwich with a meal. They give you a bag full of fries, and everything was delicious. The sandwich was great, the fish was tasty, and the sauce was perfect—no complaints whatsoever.

I'm planning to go back very soon to try everything on the menu. I still need to sample their milkshakes and ice cream, but I didn't have a chance on this visit. Overall, the food I had was stunning. “I love this place. This particular location the food is always fresh and always made correctly. Today I tried ordering through the app and it kept giving me an error message so I decided to use my QR code inside because I was using my points for a free small frosty. Something was wrong with the system and they were not able to scan my QR code, which also explains error message. Fortunately Raquel said she would honor the coupon and give me the frosty. “This location is the best pizza service in Oakland. I used to do Domino’s but their app switched me to a location south of the lake which doesn’t abide by corporate policy to leave the order at the door if indicated by the customer in the app. Whereas this location abides by corporate policy and indeed follows customers’ instructions if they want their orders left at their doors. And the food is 1000% better too. For the same price you get twice as much food as Domino’s and it’s not loaded with salt.“

“These are the best Pupusas for miles. They are crispy, wholesome and packed with stuffing. I have to get their Salvadorian Tamale as well. It is different from the Mexican variety as in the masa is really smooth, not grainy. Also these are cooked in a banana leaf. It's worth the trip, even though parking in the lot outside can be a bit problematic.“

“Amazing donuts and other pastries! They also serve asian cuisine. The Thai Iced Tea is awesome as well. The staff is equally impressive, very nice. Same name as other shops in Oakland, but that is the only thing similar. You have to go to the one on San Pablo!!!“

My friend is kind of disabled and he has a hard time grabbing stuff, so when he was trying to get his food from her, she made it more difficult for him to grab it from her, we were hoping that she would have some consideration for him and help him but she didn't, and that is sad.“

The only downside is that it's in the middle of one of the worst homeless encampments around so there's always sketchy people wandering through looking for handouts or dogging through garbage out front.
