The Vybes are really good, if you're having a bad day, you'll find something that picks you up here. It's also one of the best tasting cafes in town. Mr. Good Vybes has some serious coffee knowledge. Wonderful family run cafe. Popular with many Glenview elementary families in the mornings before school. Excellent selection of coffees, teas and breakfast pastries and bagels. Great to sit inside or outside. And nice spot to get some work done. Customer service is personal and so kind. As we are regulars, they recognize our son, and they always say hello to him.

Parking: Street parking on Park Blvd varies. Sometimes easy to get a spot in the morning if needed, sometimes a bit challenging later in the day.

I have been to more local coffee shops than I can count trying to find a dark roast that I like and it’s a struggle. Most places only offer more citrusy coffee which I don’t prefer. Soul Blends offers an amazing dark roast that is smooth and delicious. Their staff is always friendly and answers all of my many questions. Their lattes are top notch and not overly milky like some places. This is the perfect spot to get a coffee, read a book, and just decompress.“

I tried the Yemeni coffee, and it was very flavorful and unique. They mentioned that they source the beans from Yemen, which definitely added to the experience. The place has a creative, artistic vibe and makes for a great hangout spot.

They also have a great selection of desserts, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Free Wi-Fi is another nice touch if you want to spend some time here.

One small detail I really liked was their takeout cup design—it does a great job of preventing spills and keeping your shirt safe, which is surprisingly thoughtful.

The only disappointment was the chicken shawarma, which didn’t quite live up to expectations.

“Came here to check out Tierra Mia in Oakland on Broadway and it definitely lives up to the hype. The vibe inside is super chill—rustic but modern, really spacious with plenty of seating, and just a great overall atmosphere to relax or get some work done.

The drinks are next level if you like Latin inspired specialty coffee. The Horchata Frappe is a total standout, perfectly blended, refreshing, and has that authentic scratch made taste. If you want something hot, the Coco Loco Latte is incredible with a really rich, tropical coconut flavor that pairs perfectly with their espresso.

You also can't skip the pastry case. The Hazelnut Kouign Amann is an absolute must try, super flaky, buttery, and the hazelnut filling adds the perfect amount of sweetness.

Service was super friendly and fast, and they have reliable Wi-Fi too. If you’re in the area and want a great coffee spot with an awesome environment, this place is definitely a must visit.“

“I frequently visit Golden Outside since I work nearby and I adore this little cafe! Sheri(Sherry?) is amazing and very knowledgable about all of the plants she keeps and sells in the shop, and the coffee is delicious. They alternate bakeries which is really fun, since every day there might be something totally different. The teas are also excellent, amazing chai. I love the care and attention they put into everything, if you're in need of a pick me up and a plant in the Cleveland Heights neighborhood in Oakland I highly recommend stopping by!“

“This cafe is speaking my language. It was buzzing but still easy to chat at our table during the morning of Tues Aug 11 when I went in for a meet-up. Spacious outdoor seating and energizing indoor decor & lighting. Ample bike parking to boot. The person I met loved their drip coffee and my flaky, flavorful guava cream pastry (sourced from SF's The French Spot) crackled & peeled with each layer.

Their intriguing cocktail menu will have me coming back next time after work.“

i was so surprised at how empty the place was during peak lunch hour on a weekday but im guessing they get most of their inflow on the weekends; definitely recommend stopping by any day of the week for a bright, warm, sweet or savory, filling meal.“

“Breakfast sandwich, 3 shrimp spring rolls, avocado salad. Breakfast sandwich was my favorite, fluffy and thick egg inside with chives, crispy and buttery croissant and cheese was nice with it too. Avocado salad wasn't my favorite although it was still great, maybe i added too much dressing on the first go. Dressing was like a balsamic peanut. However it was a big and substantial salad. 3 spring rolls were awesome as well, very fresh and comes with Siracha and two peanut sauces.

Great value, bigger portions than I expected, definitely going to come back and try some of their other items like the smoothies. It's nice they're open early too.

“Amazing hole in wall. Very pleasant individuals explaing their menu. The coffee is very good; Honey Laveneder latte seems to he their signature and it doesn't disappoint. From the menu we tried the Avocado Toast and Ful plate. Both items were tasty and it was enough to share between two. The Ful came with warm bread, possibly freshly baked. It was an enjoyable experience. Definitely worth the visit and a must try.“
