“I've eaten their bread and croutons many times, but this is my first visit to the bakery. The public area in the front is rather small. If you're still COVID paranoid, this isn't a good spot. The people working were very nice and helpful. I asked for the sourest bread they had. I thought it was the rustic sour, but no, they recommended the sourdough batard. Bread was excellent, but still not sour enough for me. Then again, nobody makes sourdough sour enough for me.“

“I don't drink much coffee these days. Mostly matcha. They source from Asha. Their coffee is very good, and with the gloomy weather, I've opted for it more often than not. They collaborate with local chefs for specials. The raspberry white chocolate mocha was my favorite limited edition drink.“

“This has become our go-to cake for our birthdays, and we love it! The chocolate imperial cake is our favorite and it is a chocoholics dream. I never share it with anyone because it so darn tasty!It is pricier than a lot of other cake places, but well worth the money for a special occasion.“

“i tried cafe hopping and this place really hit the spot! there is free wifi, but im not sure if there's any outlets so come with your devices fully charged. i ordered the matcha bliss which came out perfectly and quick. if you like your matchas sweet, then this is the place to go. the menus tell you what's in the drink too, so ur not left wondering what's in it. i would definitely come back here again to study! not too packed and quiet environment“

There's a place not too far across the way for coffee as well but this place has it going in terms of atmosphere for sure. I very much enjoy the fact there's live DJs or music in general, while still a laid back and nice place to get from and go. “Il Canto Cafe is pretty awesome. Hella convenient for me because my office is upstairs. Back in the day, this used to be a Tully's coffee. To the right of it used to be a pretty busy Chinese restaurant. All that is gone now. This morning I got really hungry and weren't quite ready for lunch yet. The guy said good morning to me when I went out for a cigarette, so I decided to try their breakfast croissant (cheese egg sausage) $7. It was tasty! It hit the spot and I was ready for work again. Take-out service was excellent.“

This place makes one of the BEST ! NOT too salty; NOT too creamy; BOT too dry! JUST well-balanced good-fish taste with very FRESH & CRUNCHY lettuce & JUST RIGHT, well-toasted slices of bread!!! This sandwich ALWAYS gets even a HIGHER-MARKUP/"upgrade" when you ADD their SLICED HARD-BOILED egg to it!!! Their avocado toast is ALSO WONDERFUL-highly recommended (we always order BOTH the TUNA but ALSO, the AVOCADO toast & combine them, eating one half of each then, are left with the 2 other halves to go/for later (except that one must remember that avocado tends to darken if/when not eaten fresh)!!!
