“Wow- just discovered this gem recently- purchased some yummy chicken soup and crackers. Went back today for more soup and a slice of their quiche lorraine..an incredibly interesting selection of great things to eat as well as coffee. If in the area, I would definitely stop and take a look.I travel from Piedmont as they offer delighst you cannot fins elsewhere in one spot!.“
“Hands down THE best croissant in San Francisco. But they have so much more than that. Pates, quiches, desserts - and they all look so Parisian. Walking in is an exercise in self control. But the good news is, if you do cave in, it’s worth it!“
“This is a very cute and loved (family owned?) Cafe. They have good coffee, and probably 15 kinds of homemade Turkish delights. Absolutely worth a try, as well as their other sweets. This place really feels well loved by the owners, and the care they took to decorate it and create an ambiance is really impressive (even if Pink is not your color).Pro tip: ask them to make you a Rose Matcha Latte. It's not officially on the menu but delicious“
“I don't drink much coffee these days. Mostly matcha. They source from Asha. Their coffee is very good, and with the gloomy weather, I've opted for it more often than not. They collaborate with local chefs for specials. The raspberry white chocolate mocha was my favorite limited edition drink.“
“When we sat down outside, with the blue hour sun hanging low across the city, the tray of gluttony and sugars sat so perfectly on our tray. Then a group of Patagonia-clad men stumbled in saying “with OpenAI” and I was reminded that we’re in San Francisco. The crookie was good, albeit not crispy. While the coffee vanilla mousse looked amazing on the outside, it was a tad too sweet. However, the highlight for me was the Imperial; paired with an iced cold brew, the decadent layers filled with a crumbly bottom and a sweet white filling inside was my favourite.Pretty good!“
“Great service and ambiance. Place where there are great places to sit for a quick coffee, go heads down on your laptop, or have lunch with a small team or group of friends.I was not blown away by the coffee or food I tried, but was decent and made up for by the rest.“
“The space is small, and the tables are on top of each other . It’s cool it’s open late. See,Ed a bit dirty the floors and table, and some shady people homeless in and out. The Yemeni tea was absolute rocket fuel. Had me productive for hours lol . Cleanliness and lay out need to be worked in a bit here. The window bar is small on. Fits 1 maybe two people comfortably with laptop and coffee.Vegetarian options: There are noneDietary restrictions: No gluten free options or vegan sad.“
“Nestled in the vibrant streets of San Francisco, The Coffee Movement is a true gem for coffee lovers. With its cozy atmosphere and friendly staff, it's the perfect spot to start your day or unwind after a long one. But what truly sets this place apart is the coffee itself. Each cup is crafted with care and precision, resulting in a rich, flavorful experience that will keep you coming back for more. Whether you're a seasoned coffee connoisseur or just looking for a pick-me-up, The Coffee Movement has something special brewing just for you.“
“Everything was incredible. Not only was the food delicious. The owner showed our 3 year old daughter all the choices and made her a custom small plate. It was very family friendly and delicious. Can’t wait to go back!!Vegetarian options: DeliciousParking: Lots of street spaces to park atKid-friendliness: They were very accommodating for kids. We had 5 kids total from baby to 3 year old. They were so friendly.“
“Donuts are definitely the best in town! Cute lil dog friendly place in the Laurel/Allendale district. There was an employee who gushed over my frenchie while we were there. Always friendly service. If you haven't had a cronut you will not regret the decision. My favorite is the salted caramel! This delicious box plus a latte for around $30 including a generous tip. I just love this place!“
“Really loved their interiors. Felt like I was in Yemen. They serve chai is very fancy cups which makes it even more pleasing. Highly recommend trying their Adeni Chai with the Sabaya and the Honeycomb Bread. The Vegan Lime Mango cake was great. Also recommend their “
“This has become our go-to cake for our birthdays, and we love it! The chocolate imperial cake is our favorite and it is a chocoholics dream. I never share it with anyone because it so darn tasty! It is pricier than a lot of other cake places, but well worth the money for a special occasion.“
“So this was probably the best smoked salmon sandwich I had in my life so far. The Brazilian cream cheese is so good with the salmon! The coffee with milk didn't need sugar, it's just so refreshing on its own.I tried a small bite of the Veggie omelet, and the tapioca crepe is so good, and the omelet is even better.Highly recommended at the fisherman's wharf, with a order by number service, in a good location, I'm gonna say you have to try it here!Vegetarian options: You can get vegetarian options that are clearly marked. Pretty sure you can make minor substitutions, but you'll have to ask!“
“i tried cafe hopping and this place really hit the spot! there is free wifi, but im not sure if there's any outlets so come with your devices fully charged. i ordered the matcha bliss which came out perfectly and quick. if you like your matchas sweet, then this is the place to go. the menus tell you what's in the drink too, so ur not left wondering what's in it. i would definitely come back here again to study! not too packed and quiet environment“
“The avocado toast and Dulce de leche latte were delicious! They made the latte decaf at my request, and it was so good. I’m always grateful for a cafe that offers decaf espresso. The vibes and service were excellent. We came in on a Monday morning and were able to sit and enjoy breakfast! Highly recommend!“
“I've only been there hella early in the a.m.; it's been tight every time. I bought some of their grounds, hella good. Their donuts smack. There's a skeleton that waves at you above the entrance, he's my homie. Ha.Parking: Street parking and residential parking near. Again, I've only been at the top of the morn so there's parking when I've visited.Kid-friendliness: He?? yeah.Wheelchair accessibility: Ngl I'll update this portion but if I remember correctly there's a ramp to the left of the building that can be used.“
“Great spot for excellent coffee, friendly baristas and a pure SF vibe to it all. Besides coffee and pastry offerings, Cafe Suspiro has a well curated selection of books and vinyl to shop. It’s a cafe definitely worth going out of the way for.“
“I only tasted the pain au chocolat and the choux and I was won over. The cabbages are super good, the taste is fine and sought after. The pain au chocolat is worth a French one. The place is pleasant and the staff welcoming. Only remark: the tea served in a small half-full mug, a little too light for my taste, even if I am used to European portions.“
“The flat white was quite good, and best of all, it didn't burn my mouth when I first took a sip. That's how you know your barista is great! I also got the banana bread, which was delicious, as well. All around worth the trip and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town. The only thing is I wish the chairs looked a little comfier and I might be more inclined to stick around and enjoy my coffee.“
“The coffee not just looks good, but also taste so good, I have to return just to get my birthday cake coffee, and it was worth it!!The only downside was someone so impolite touching my cup right after its finishing, and nobody told him not to do that before I came to take my order. But everything else was great, it's totally worth it to have your coffee here!“
“As soon as my husband and I walked in, the owner welcomed us with a warm smile. We both tried the cheeseburger, the fries, the chicken nuggets, and jalapeño poppers. The food was delicious and the service is excellent. We will definitely be back the next time we visit.“
“I am going to be generous and give it a five, the coffee I do like quite a lot here. There's a place not too far across the way for coffee as well but this place has it going in terms of atmosphere for sure. I very much enjoy the fact there's live DJs or music in general, while still a laid back and nice place to get from and go. I go every time I have morning shifts and it hasn't let me down since I started visiting. While I haven't explored it myself, I'm aware this also does wines in the evening.“
“Il Canto Cafe is pretty awesome. Hella convenient for me because my office is upstairs. Back in the day, this used to be a Tully's coffee. To the right of it used to be a pretty busy Chinese restaurant. All that is gone now. This morning I got really hungry and weren't quite ready for lunch yet. The guy said good morning to me when I went out for a cigarette, so I decided to try their breakfast croissant (cheese egg sausage) $7. It was tasty! It hit the spot and I was ready for work again. Take-out service was excellent.“
“Found a new favorite cafe in town! Lovely interior and very friendly owner and staff. I've been going almost every day for the past two weeks for their Persian Rose Tea and am just starting to try out their baked goods. Cardamom and saffron cookie goes really well with the tea!“
“Algerian baked goods and sweets at their best! Incredibly, this tiny sidewalk cafe makes all their own pastries and sweets on-site. The owner/baker/muffin maker is almost always there, making community and croissant sandwiches. Seating on the sidewalk will, with great good luck, be upgraded soon with a parklet.“
“MAN, OMG! This is our NEW order-from/hangout place. NOT ONLY is the owner VERY FRIENDLY, KIND & HELPFUL but the FOOD is EXCELLENT (KUDOS to the Kitchen Chef whom customers often NEGLECT/FORGET about congratulating/commending in PERSON!). VERY VERY EXCELLENT (TOP NOTCH!) tuna sandwich! This place KNOWS what they're doing!!! And, NOT too many places know HOW to make a GREAT-TASTING tuna salad! Many either put TOO much mayonnaise or make it TOO dry. Places also tend sometimes to use brand/suppliers of tuna which tastes TOO FISHY!!! However, NOT SO AT ALL here, at Jebena Cafe! Their (female) cook makes a REAL "BOMB" (THE Bomb!) of a tuna sandwiches we've tasted in a LONG time (&, TRUST us! We've tasted tuna sandwiches in MANY-a-PLACES before!). This place makes one of the BEST ! NOT too salty; NOT too creamy; BOT too dry! JUST well-balanced good-fish taste with very FRESH & CRUNCHY lettuce & JUST RIGHT, well-toasted slices of bread!!! This sandwich ALWAYS gets even a HIGHER-MARKUP/"upgrade" when you ADD their SLICED HARD-BOILED egg to it!!! Their avocado toast is ALSO WONDERFUL-highly recommended (we always order BOTH the TUNA but ALSO, the AVOCADO toast & combine them, eating one half of each then, are left with the 2 other halves to go/for later (except that one must remember that avocado tends to darken if/when not eaten fresh)!!! Finally, their MOCHA & LATTE are great!!!“
“So glad this place is reopening at some point!! By far the best brunch place around. The staff is super friendly, the food is amazing, and make sure to get some of their secret spicy sauce on the side ;)Vegetarian options: There's def some decent vegetarian and vegan options on the menu!!“
“I'm not normally a tea drinker but I had the Hojicha latte and I have become addicted. It's amazing! They also have nice pastries with a French influence as well as a number of fancy teas for sale. My daughter said the strawberry milk with boba is delicious.Central location on Piedmont avenue with Wi-Fi and power if you need to do a little work on your laptop.Highly recommend.“
“I absolutely adore Arzimendi! I've been to this location and the Valencia st location in SF and everytime I go, I am reminded of how much I love it. The baked goods are delicious and affordable. The pizza is divine and it's so fun to see what new slice comes out each day. Arizmendi is also a co-op so I'm happy to support them with my service as much as possible!“

“In San Francisco in my opinion people are not always nice including service people, this place was awesome. They ice cream was delicious. I think the owner served us and he was super nice accommodated lots of samples, delicious, ice cream, and very reasonable prices.“
“This is my favorite cafe in SF, and I always make a point to come while I'm there. My fav is the breakfast muffin with all the fixings. The bagels, crostinis and baked goods are great aswell. It's a really small space so try to grab a seat outside or just do take out.“
“I was killing time in the neighborhood, so decided to try Jerusalem coffee. I ordered a orange blossom latte. I really like it. I had to go with whole milk, but the flavor was very good. Could definitely taste the orange blossom. Unfortunately, they don't have decaf so I had to take a chance. he did offer me a single shot, I like my coffee strong. The service was good. The ambience is casual.“
“I stopped in for the first time last week… People working there are super nice. Latte was really good, I don’t know what beans they were using but it was delicious. I had a breakfast sandwich on ciabatta that was HUGE. I saved half for my lunch later!Dog friendly!“
“One of my friends allowed me to taste some food from this place I was so taken the next day I immediately went to have my own! the people was just as friendly and warm and most of all welcoming.so it wasn't just about the food but it was the atmosphere and the smiles I'll recommend this place to the world they brought me the closet to tasting some New Orleans food!!!“
“Good coffee, but on the pricier side for the size. The orange blossom is my favorite. The golden goat is good (though I am a big fan of goat cheese so that is probably a good indicator of whether or not to try it). Nice staff, animal friendly.“
“The polenta and blueberry muffins are out of this world. That being said, one day they made polenta and raspberry muffins. I don't know if it was a fluke or not, but I actually like those better. Either way, you have to try them!! Every Friday my coworkers and I treat ourselves. The best ever!!“
“Now this is a bomb sandwich. They don't skimp on the ingredients and it's a monster. This is easily 2 meals for me. Go all-in for the pickled onions and crunch.Vegetarian options: There are at least 2 vegan sandwich options on their fixed menu, and you can also "build your own" and feature hummus and avocado with a mountain of other veggies.“
“I can see why they ahe such a great rating ! The food was amazing, the best smoothie I ever had. My kid loves coming here too. Mohammed and mo are great here. I feel they have godo prices, never any long waits. Always the best customer service and I love their menu“
“This wonderful place is my other office. It's cute and cozy, has strong wifi, the staff is super friendly, and the food is delicious. It's not cheap, but they use lots of fresh, healthy ingredients and it's beautifully presented. I've recently had the winter lentil salad, the French grilled cheese, and the tomato bisque. Yum.“
“Found this brand new little gem Cafe Cordoba in Oakland today. I'm a lifelong restaurant owner which makes it hard to please me. This place is amazing. Family owned and operated. I had the big tacos with carne asada. They were absolutely sell. I'll be back time and time again. We need more small business owners like this one. Bravo!“
“Lovely coffee shop along van ness! The barista was very friendly and the shop itself was clean with good wifi. There was less power outlets than I expected. The coffee itself was also a good, pretty standard. I liked the glassware that they provided as well.“
“A charming spot in downtown Oakland, where great service meets quality coffee. The owner’s dedication to improvement, seeking customers feedback, and surprising us with special treats, be it coffee or pastries, adds a delightful touch to the experience.“
“Romo Cafe is a bright shiny star in our Fairfax neighborhood. Mexican coffee is delicious and pairs well with oatmeal cookies. They have an excellent and diverse menu serving breakfast items like their Chia bowl and great lunch selections of salads and sandwiches.Parking: Usually parking within a blockKid-friendliness: Very kid-friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Downstairs is wheelchair accessible.“
“Beautiful European style coffee shop service fresh salads, sandwiches, and pastry. I went in today and the hospitality was amazing. Coffee properly done in the espresso machine and Callí (?) was so helpful. If I worked in the area, I’d go everyday. Their ham cheese croissant was so nice. It really felt like I was in Paris or Rome.“
“We made a brunch reservation to have the tea service, but were pulled away into the savory menu options. We started with the viennoiserie and moved into poached eggs, which were cooked to four minute perfection (our request). Everything we had was great, and the service and atmosphere were lovely.“
“Cane here two different days. 1st time they had all the selection of great toasts the offer (avocado, banana, etc) and we loved them. Next time, no toasts so we were disappointed. Still, good coffee both times.Make sure to get those toasts!“
“While I was in San Francisco visiting for work I had the pleasure of visiting Flour & Branch for brunch. This is a cute bakery with great service and very tasty food. Michael helped me with a tea latte and a cookie to start followed by a brunch of eggs, brisket, avocado, potatoes, and toast. Everything was very good and the toast was particularly excellent. The croissant I got for later was crisp and buttery. Definitely stop by if you're in the area!“
“I love coming here for my caffeine and nature hit. It’s one of the best in Berk Berk… an oasis ?Dietary restrictions: Vegan and gluten freeParking: Hot tip: if you know where the other side of the park is, there’s always a spotKid-friendliness: Baby and kid friendly ❤️ Tons of moms and strollers and babies“
“I've eaten their bread and croutons many times, but this is my first visit to the bakery. The public area in the front is rather small. If you're still COVID paranoid, this isn't a good spot. The people working were very nice and helpful. I asked for the sourest bread they had. I thought it was the rustic sour, but no, they recommended the sourdough batard. Bread was excellent, but still not sour enough for me. Then again, nobody makes sourdough sour enough for me.“
