Anaviv's Table Pizza • $$
600 Hoffman Blvd, Richmond

“I wish I could give more than five stars. I reached out to Tonya to see if we could get pizza making lessons with a small group of friends (because the pizza at Anaviv's Table is so good). Tonya was enthusiastic and flexible about helping me set up the event. The event was run by Darren with help from Siyoon. Darren was patient, engaging, and deeply knowledgeable. He guided us through every step of the process, giving us tips and tricks along the way, and by the end we had both a lot of pizzas to enjoy right then and plenty of dough to bring home to make more ourselves. Siyoon helped everything run smoothly so that we could all have a good time, and as a parting gift, gave us each a saffron lemon bar to take home with us.My wife and I have always enjoyed visiting Anaviv's Table in all of its incarnations. We're excited about how they continue to grow, and just so impressed by everyone on their staff.Thank you!“

“I stumbled upon this place, and I’m so glad that I did! The quiche is amazing and my mocha was perfect…not too sweet without me having to ask and great flavor. I highly recommend a stop on the weekends for your morning cup AND the quiche!“

“Kicked it at Kaleidoscope Coffee in Point Richmond! It's not your typical coffee shop – during the day, it's a cozy spot for coffee and ice cream, and at night, it turns into a lively hangout with performances.Their menu is full of local goodies like Tara's Organic Ice Cream and Wrecking Ball Coffee. I tried their unique creations like beet hummus and indulged in Revolution Muffins and Bakin’ Vegan pastries – all delicious! The atmosphere is buzzing with energy and community spirit. Kaleidoscope Coffee is definitely a must-visit if you're in the area!“

“This place is vibing! Delicious coffee, energetic atmosphere and also good space for connecting to internet and getting work done.I compare coffee shops based on the decaf oatmilk latte. It was dense, strong and flavorful.A great gem in East Bay. The staff were also very kind, friendly and cheerful. They also have some mixed tastes that I haven’t tried and would like to give it a shot next time!“

El Jardín de los Sueños Cafe American •

“I’m a local and I’ve been here several times in the weeks since it opened, and I've enjoyed the experience each time. I’ve had two different sandwiches for lunch — the Pesto and the Chipotle, both of them fresh and tasty — and a good sesame bagel with cream cheese for breakfast (to go). The place itself is light and spacious, the staff friendly and helpful, and parking looks really easy (but I walked). Highly recommended!“

Hometown Donuts Donut Shops • $
2315 Cutting Blvd, Richmond

“Let's take a moment to give a shout out to the old school local donut shop. I've been going here for (yikes) over 25 years and the quality is both high and bang on consistent. Donuts are like Coca Cola: Long since perfected and any changes to the formula just make them worse (I'm looking at you, Krispy Kreme). You want a donut? No, seriously, do you want a f*cking donut? They have the donut you want and the donut you deserve before or after a long day.“

“Found this place by accident. Everyone here, both employees and park visitors alike, is friendly towards both humans and dogs. The club was quite delicious, and Copper just gave compliments (a la belch) to the chef of his hot dog! And the view is quite picturesque.“

“Me and my friend got caramel frappechinos.Drinks were very goodService was great, but they somehow misspelled my 2 letter name (not upset, i think it's funny)Music was great and loud, just how I like it. The inside and outside are very clean.I didn't get anything with pickles, so I will not be putting a pickle rating on this review. 0/5 pickles :(.Vegetarian options: If you're a vegetarian, they have vegetarian options on the menu. If you're vegan, they also have milks made of oats and nuts and stuff.Dietary restrictions: They have different milks, if you're lactose intolerant or have a dairy allergy.Parking: Average sized parking lot, gets crowded when busy.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp and a wide door, as well as wheelchair accessible tables.“

“Good, reliable boba place.I come here every once in a while with my friends or after school as it very close to both De Anza high and my bus stop.Good boba, although it tends to run on the sweet side.Great fries, one order is a relatively large box and the fries are DELICIOUS! I personally like crunchy, thick fries and they are just that. Highly recommend them.My personal drink recommendations:For the sugar lover: Tiramisu milk tea, tastes like a milkshake, absolutely deliciousFloral...tastes?: Rose milk tea. Very sweet, tastes like rose water and is reminiscent of rose perfume in the best way possible.Wheelchair accessibility: Relatively wheelchair accessible. Narrow entrance that might make it difficult, and narrow sidewalk leading up. Parking lot is always very crowded.“
