“I was skeptical because I used to go to the pizzeria that was here before. Tried the small cheese pizza and it was a hit. They got all the small details right. Amazing. Interior is very nice and service is great and pleasant. Can't wait to come back.”
“Been to Hotel Mac many many times and never ever been disappointed. The menu often varies with excellence across the board. Just celebrated my 70th birthday there. Wonderful evening in a great atmosphere.”
“I ordered the chilaquiles rojos with steak...they were excellent!
The sauce was not overwhelming with spice or hot, which gave me room to add just enough to make it perfectly right to how I like it. The tortillas had fresh taste and they were still crispy, even though the chilaquiles had plenty of sauce. The steak was good quality beef also.
Overall, the best chilaquiles I've had in a very long time. I will definitely come back again and based on this meal...I highly recommend it!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 👍🏻”
“This was my first time dining there. Definitely not my last. First class atmosphere, Customer Service and food. I see other items on the menu I want to try. And the best part is the locale. I only live 2.5 miles away from a top notch dining venue on the water. Fantastic!!”

“Best Rugby themed bar ever. Best kept secret in point Richmond CA”
“I definitely enjoyed the Mango Fried rice dish along with the garlic noodles. Had Thai Iced Tea, which is always a treat. I did call this order in for pick up. When I got there I had to wait a minute, because they were busy but it wasn't long. They gave me an extra Thai iced tea on the house, I didn't need it. Yet it shows the type of business I'm eating at. The ambiance is very welcoming. The art work on the walls of the culture is beautiful. Would recommend friends/family to come and try this place out.”
“So glad to find out they reopened after being closed a while during the pandemic. Currently you have to pre-order a day in advance for pickup so it takes a little planning but so worth it.Their fried chicken is so crispy. I ordered it with waffle fries and they say they only fire up the fries just before your pickup time so that they're fresh. When I went to pick up my order, they let me know it would just be a few minutes because the fries were finishing and when he came out with my order, he said he accidentally made the salad but included both the fries and salad and threw in a vanilla pudding. Everything was so delicious. Even the bonus pudding had flecks of vanilla bean and tasted so much better than the instant stuff. The chicken and fries were enough for 2 meals.”

“Gran Milan is THE place to get the most delicious foods on the planet!!! I recently ordered mini sfogliatelles, cannolis, (3) meter long pizzas n wonder focaccia bread to make sandwiches and their famous olive bread sticks!!! Thanks for the beautiful foods and service!!! I highly recommend Rufo’s place for your next catering! I haven’t seen sfogliatelles outside of NY!!! Love this place!!”
“Had the best lamb I’ve ever had wildly enough and this green sauce thing is so good I wish I got 4 of them. There’s a 15 min wait on the lab kebab but I think it’s worth it. There’s an argument to be made if it’s worth the price, I got extra lamb and honestly no regrets. Maybe just a single portion for your fist time. Cheese burger also had a brioche/potato bun that was very pleasant.”
“The food and service are really good im a local and me and my family come here a lot whenever we arw hungry. I love the nacho fries because they make them with nacho cheese instead of shredded cheddar. Also ive had breakfast burritos at multiple places in the area and the ones here blow any of those out of the water, the regular burritos are good too. All the food taste fresh and cooked with care not assembled quick and sloppy, the whole menu is solid and i plan to keep coming in the future.”
“This is hands-down the best acai spot in the Bay. Trust me—I’ve tried all the top-rated acai bowls around and none of them compare to the quality and flavor you find at Brazuca. They import their acai straight from Brazil, and it’s mixed to produce the perfect sweetness and texture. Go for the traditional bowl, which blends in condensed milk and milk powder for an incredible flavor profile. Even if you’re not near Richmond, it’s worth the drive! You won’t be sorry.”
“The vegetarian food was great! Love the potatoes from Szechuan!”
“So happy to find a delicious and friendly restaurant that doesn’t close in the afternoon in my neighborhood. We have been there several times in the past couple months and I’m still trying new things on the menu. My husband tried the ribs which he said were the best he’s ever had and half the serving went home with him. It was huge! Desserts are exceptional especially the flan. I’m still exploring their vegetarian options but so far my favorite is their version of chili relleno. Come and relax and enjoy the food and friendly atmosphere!”
Outdoor Dining
“What a fun and casual find. The place literally has the feel of a backyard, full of picnic tables, trees, cornhole toss, a small performance stage, and even some old worn couches. The food tasted so good. Selections were limited, but plentiful at the same time. Lots of choices of beverages, including alcohol and specialty. Also, the pumpkins were for sale. Permanent porta potties for reatrooms.”

“This is a family run place with outdoor seating. The food is quick, fresh and tasty. Women members of the family are nicer than the men, who can be clueless and unhelpful. Sometimes the meat is recooked in the crispy tacos which are otherwise my favorite. The flautas are also fresh and good as are the refried pinto beans.I like this casual place a lot—you can buy Russian River Brew next door at Raymnond’s excellent pizza place and sit in the sun with the locals.”
“Awesomely cheap tasty burgers and yummy seasoned fries. Quick service overall super great. There is no place to sit and eat or even really sit and wait. But the wait is never long. They usually clean out the milkshake machine, maybe even an hour prior to closing.”

“I'm not a fan of spicy food, but I am a fan of flavorful and delicious food! This place is the real deal, and worth EVERY dime spent. I can customize my food by asking for nothing spicy... and they comply! However, I must say that I'm addicted to the Crab Fried Rice!!! I don't have to customize any of it. I was even brave enough to order the Tom Tom soup which is Hot and Sour soup. This soup is a tasty medicinal soup for any stomach issues or cold and flu issues. What I like the most about this soup 🍲 is that my feet are dancing while I am basking in this flavorful dish You owe it to yourself to get wrapped up in the warmth and and flavorful aroma while healing your body and soul. I call this soup "A vacation in a bowl" and I challenge anyone to step up and try it, You'll thank me mm for the recommendation 😎👍. Toodles to all as I send you blessings, peace 🕊️ and safety to you and your loved ones ☺️🙏😎.”

“Superb food, service, and atmosphere! Truly my favorite place for a chicken sandwich — plus their Mac & cheese is just as delightful!
Some reviewers might try to compare this place to Dave’s Hot Chicken though like the saying goes, you can't compete where you don't compare. Five Star Chicken serves hand slaughtered chicken! Talk about respect & care for health safety.”
“TLDR: Unforgettable quality and taste at a higher than average price. Top-tier quesabirria and consume, soft tortillas (possibly homemade?)
This restaurant is probably single-handedly keeping its plaza alive. I've been regularly eating here for at least four years and it easily has the most delicious Mexican food in the whole East Bay, maybe even whole Bay Area. When my friends come to visit, I always take them here to eat and they all agree with my sentiment. One of them still thinks about the quesabirrias to this day.
quesabirrias - the tacos and consume are match made in heaven
birria ramen - the tapatio container is aesthetic and easy for take-out. I can assure you it's not just simply instant ramen. Generous portion of beef
burrito - you cannot finish this in one sitting unless you have the appetite of a professional athlete”
“Excelleny puzza every time i been there. Its awesome place to go becausr the owner calls me by my first ́ name eavh tine i go there and always makes me feel wrlcimef there. Pizza are made with fresh vegatabkes each day.”

“This is the bomb!!!! We just had our X-mas gathering with 31 people and I can say the owner was very accommodating, pleasantly to work with. The food was so delicious specially the QUESABIRRIAS, everyone went crazy over it. The menu is great,I highly recommend this place. Will truly come back for more! Come on let's show some support for this family owned business!!!!”
“We held a celebration of life memorial for my mother-in-law at Vibe. The feedback from the attendees was across the board raves for the food, service, and space.
During both the pre-planning process and the event itself, Free and her staff were friendly, responsive, flexible, and just enjoyable to be around. You could say they give off good vibes. :-) We highly recommend Vibe Bistro!”
“My partner and I went here for a date.♡ We absolutely loved the experience! Service was amazing, and so was the food. We rushed because we didn't know there wasn't a time limit. 😅😂 At the end of service we received our dessert, and left with our broth.. and the itis! We slept SOO GOOD. Lol.”
“I wanted to love it. The staff and food were good & my server was great. The setup is awful. My meal began with ordering on a shared tablet. The food came out too quickly. I had a miso soup & salad -- but my entree came out before I was even close to done with either. Then the kids/mall of it all. A kid loudly banging on the piano outside, another kid refusing to put his phone away to eat -- kids screaming and whining. It's not the experience I want at a restaurant, certainly not at sushi. The restaurant has little to no control over that, so no stars off for obnoxious other guests. The TVs ruined the vibe. It's so cute inside, why ruin it with screens everywhere???? Paper menus, ask the mall to move the piano, ditch the TVs and it could be a really great place. Still good food and workers. Not sure if I'll go back soon.”
“Karol was very attentive & responsive. This is the 2nd time we have had her as a server. The staff works as a team and are supportive of each other, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Food was beautiful prepared and presented. No pictures taken because we devoured our food, and photos were an afterthought. Thank you Richmond IHOP!”
“Oh man I got these sauces from the SF Craft fair and they are actually some of the best sauces/dips I’ve had. Feels not processed at all, just a few whole ingredients, PERFECT amount of spice, and great depth of flavor 🔥 The sweet chili and chocolate hot sauce are my favorites I literally have a little on all my meals! This is not sponsored or anything I just found this from googling where I can get more 😂”

“If you’re anywhere near Richmond and haven’t stopped by Phila Burger yet, you're missing out on great food. I've tried most of the times in the menu, and I've never walked away disappointed. The food tastes amazing and hits every single time. Fresh, flavorful, and everything you want from a burger.
What really makes this place special is Sam. He’s the kind of person who remembers your face and name, your usual order, and makes you feel like more than just a customer. Honestly, at this point, I’m convinced he should just run for mayor of Richmond.
It's safe to say that many people in the Rich know about Phila Burger for good reason. But if you’re coming from outside of Richmond, do yourself a favor and give this place (and the city) a chance. If there’s one meal that’ll win you over, it’s right here.
Richmond, this is something to be proud of.”

“This place was pretty good as far as some of these restaurants go in San Francisco area. The food's kind of high quality for the type of restaurant and the service is great. The hamburgers are a little bit small which I didn't really like. But overall it's better than most of the crap you get around that area.”
“It is welcoming and relaxed, making it a great spot to bring your family and friends, or enjoy a casual treat. The staff is kind and patient it is a family owned business and known for their churros around Richmond and San Pablo, It’s the kind of place where everyone feels at home while enjoying some traditional churros.”
“Staff seats you quick. The prices are fair, but the portions is where it is. Other Vietnamese restaurants have popped up, no offence, but they seem to cater to the American taste bud, cost more for smaller portions, and are tastewise alright. A lot of Asian restaurants cater to a broughter palette now, have a fusion look and their food. Vietnamese restaurants like this take you back to the 90s and early 00s. The music is feint, and food rice plates remind me of food taste and portions of my Vietnamese American friend's home. Please support these Family run businesses.”
“I love this place! From the food to the service. I highly recommend trying their specials. Great place to watch a game or to play some pool (or both). Also, they have a pretty good selection of drinks at the bar for the adults. 10/10 would recommend to a friend ?
Parking: Plenty of parking for the whole plaza.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. They have a pool table and TV screens.”
“i was just about to order, but can't trust honesty.HCT powder has MANY ingredients including sugar but only says "COCONUT" on container.NOT COOL FOR THOSE OF US WITH BORDERLINE KIDNEY,LIVER,PANCREAS FAILURE.😵”
“I like the staff there they are very courteous. The only thing I have an issue with is they don't always take cash for delivery. And if I don't have money on my card I can't pay for it. I have to go in to pay for it. I am disabled and I cannot drive. So that becomes an issue.”

“Tried this local Salvadoran spot in Richmond and really enjoyed it. I ordered two beef tacos and an authentic Salvadoran-style horchata, and everything was on point. The tacos were flavorful, well-seasoned, and made fresh, and the horchata tasted homemade—not overly sweet and very refreshing. You can tell this is a family-run place that cares about the quality of their food. Always happy to support local businesses like this. I’ll definitely be coming back.”
“I went around 1:30 pm on a Monday and the restaurant was busy, busy, busy, but the cashier/waitress was fast, pleasant, and deserved to be tipped well!!! We ordered the lunch specials to go: Hunan Beef (it was tender with the right amount of spice and sweet and veggies) with Chow Mein (plump and juicy) and Sesame Chicken (crispy, tender, flavorful, coating on a few pieces were a little excessive..but it was edible) with Fried Rice (very tasty, wasn't dry, no soy sauce needed). Overall the food was delicious and I need to kick my own butt for not discovering this hidden gem in Point Richmond a long time ago. I think this will be my spot from here on out, and yours, if you give it a try! Side Note: the restaurant name is hard to see and needs to be repainted but it is directly across from the library.”
“If you’re looking for real, authentic Mexican food this is the spot. Honestly, it’s the best I’ve had outside of my mom’s cooking (and that says a lot). The homemade tortillas are amazing, the salsa is full of flavor, and everything tastes fresh and made with care.
I originally came here craving menudo, and now I’m completely hooked. If it were closer, I’d probably eat here every day but it’s 100% worth the drive.
The staff is incredibly kind, the place is clean, and it has that cozy, local atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Prices are fair for the area, and the portions are very generous. Highly recommend”

“Ive been coming to Tacos La Raza for some years and they consistently deliver on flavor. The tacos de suadero are juicy, well seasoned and cooked perfectly. I just had the packed steak super burrito and it was delicious. Salsa roja is perfect not overbearing.
My only complaint is the meat portions on the tacos are inconsistent. For some reason that bothers me.
The ladies are welcoming and friendly.
Overall, solid spot. 👌”
“today i went in to get a 4 way , i was greeted by the kindnest man , i was short on my total and he helped , he also threw in extra of the barbque beans , it was so kind of him! this is the best spot for ribs !!! will be back”

“🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Hidden Gem in Richmond – Carnitas Done the Right Way
If you know carnitas, you know there’s a difference between good and Puebla-style done properly — and Carnitas Poblanas El Canelo absolutely delivers.
This place started as a humble food truck and has earned its reputation the right way: through flavor, authenticity, and consistency. No gimmicks. Just real-deal Mexican cooking.
🔥 What I Ordered
2 x Large carnitas tacos on handmade blue corn tortillas, piled high with creamy avocado, shredded cabbage, and finished with fresh lime and radish. The meat? Perfectly slow-cooked — tender inside with those crispy caramelized edges that make Puebla-style carnitas legendary.
On the side, their salsas:
The green salsa brings serious heat (in the best way).
The red salsa is deep, smoky, and rich.
And the strawberry horchata? Next level. Creamy, refreshing, slightly sweet, and served ice-cold — the perfect contrast to the savory carnitas.
🌮 Why This Spot Stands Out
Authentic Puebla-style carnitas — slow-cooked and crisped properly
Handmade tortillas (you can taste the difference immediately)
Fresh ingredients throughout
Quesadilla de chicharrón prensado that locals rave about
Fast, friendly, family-run hospitality
Casual setup — the focus is 100% on the food
It’s not fancy. It’s not polished. It’s not trying to be trendy. It’s authentic, flavorful, and consistent — which is exactly what makes it special.
Some of the best carnitas in the Bay Area? Absolutely.
If you’re in Richmond and you appreciate traditional Mexican cooking done with pride, this spot deserves your attention.
Highly recommended. I’ll be back. 🌮🔥”
“Tacos Los Primos is a great place for real authentic Mexican food, whatever you choose is going to be amazing!
I ordered a bunch stuff for the day laborers that were helping old lady Pucklepuss straighten up her hedgerow and got a sampler of Taquitos while I was waiting, and they were the best I've ever had!
5 ☆☆☆☆☆ for sure, no shit!”
“I am thoroughly impressed with the Krispy Krunchy Chicken spot located inside my local convenience store. Its close proximity to my residence makes it a convenient dining option, enhanced by the availability of various snacks and essentials within the store itself. The staff at this establishment are efficient and courteous, ensuring prompt service without compromising on quality. The chicken here consistently exceeds my expectations, always cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. I am particularly fond of their honey mustard dipping sauce, which adds a delightful tanginess to the crispy chicken. Additionally, the jambalaya stands out as a highlight on the menu, offering a perfect balance of spice and flavor. The honey biscuits and honey blueberry biscuits are delectable accompaniments to the chicken, while the potato wedges are a hit with my kids for their quick and satisfying snack. Personally, I recommend the chicken tenders for their juicy tenderness and exceptional taste. In conclusion, Krispy Krunchy Chicken provides a delightful dining experience with its flavorful offerings and efficient service. Whether you're in the mood for crispy chicken tenders or a spicy jambalaya, this spot has something to satisfy every palate. I highly recommend giving it a try for a truly enjoyable dining experience.”
“Maggiora sourdough french bread is like what french bread tasted like from the great Bakery on 59 th st & Canning in Oakland in the 50's & 60's. I lived around the corner from there & after that bakery moved they later lost their starter & Maggiora became the great bakery.”

“The taste of the food that made them unique is not lost. However, Ive gotten food from them since i was a kid; Over time they raised prices from $5 burritos to $11 which is not worth going there anymore bcus over time they started putting more rice/beans/cream, and little bit of meat in the burritos.”

“Self-serve. No hassle. Great food at awesome price. Definitely will try their dim sum dishes next time at an earlier time. They actually use ceramic/actual bowls and dishes and not disposable/single-user like many other places of similar food.
Would love to see maybe next time they will have their own home made chili oil!
Update: visited two more times after initial review a month ago. Seems like the secret is out so it's getting crowded here. If you arrive after 1:30ish they only offer to-go because they close at 2 and it takes 20 minutes to freshly cook the food.
This place is run by a small team with only one person at the counter who is also responsible for 26 other tasks so please be patient and understanding. They probably don't mind losing business from potential customers who are in a hurry or turning away due to long and slow line; this place is probably not for you and try again next time when you are not in a hurry.”
“Went in on 2/22/26 ordered a Carne Asada plate , the meat was burned crispy and to mention the portion was very small such a trendy spot should have been way better but otherwise the rest of the food was ok.”
“My boyfriend and I had a great time at this dumpling restaurant. We ordered a few dishes to share family-style, and everything was amazing. The fried xiao long bao was delicious and crispy, and the pork face was rich and perfectly cooked—the seasoning was very authentic- like what you would get in China.
The staff were very homey and kind as well. A good spot for anyone who loves authentic dumplings!”
“Portions are solid, food is good for the most part. Biggest issue for this location is the frequency they change their oil. All 3 times we have gone the chips have a much darker color and poor taste compared to any other Chipotle. Not sure if they are trying to go cheap and not change the oil as frequently or if it's just laziness, but dont get chips here, you will be disappointed”
“Pizza was amazing and the music was awesome 💕 a great neighborhood place with friends!”
