“Nations has always been our go-to spot for amazing burgers, and today’s visit was no exception. We came in fully expecting to enjoy one of their classic, delicious burgers—and that’s exactly what we got.
What really made this visit stand out, though, was the service. Joanna, Herry, and Miguel were incredibly welcoming and made sure everything was just right from start to finish. Our food was cooked perfectly to order, and their attention to detail truly showed.
The food is what keeps us coming back, but the exceptional service is what makes us choose the Nations at the bottom of the hill every time. A great experience all around—we’ll definitely be back!”

“Nestled in an unassuming strip mall where people can do their laundry and eat pupusas is this hidden gem with a sophisticated cocktail program yet homey neighborhood-bar feel. We came only to get a drink before dinner elsewhere and were blown away by the warm and welcoming service and absolutely delicious drinks. At the tail end of happy hour, I ordered a margarita that was mixed to perfection (tart, refreshing, not too sweet). We were so pleased we ordered two more drinks! Their palomas are also delightful. My partner had a couple items off their signature cocktail menu and found them to be unique, flavorful, and thoughtfully made. It was clear the bartender was passionate about his craft. I’m a bit of a drink snob and I can genuinely say these drinks can hold a candle to many of the popular cocktail bars in Oakland.

The lighting is nice and low, great for a date night. Come on a warm night, sit at the booth and enjoy the breeze from the open windows. One of my favorite things about California is that no matter where you are you can catch a beautiful sunset and see palm trees in the distance, and with a good drink in hand forget for a moment you’re in a random strip mall ;)

“This is a newer bakery in the area. It has a small parking lot. The inside has always been clean and the bread always looks and tastes fresh in addition to very neatly presented. My parents like it as well. The service has always been delivered with a smile. As far as the foods, I've only tried the tamales and they were good. The pudin is my favorite bakery item. 😋”

“Drive there. It took one hour. Interesting roads and real hard to find since it’s behind main road and the good thing that I got parking in front of the establishment. The bread there was very delicious. The store atmosphere was good and the service was quick and they were very friendly. I’ll definitely take the road trip again to buy more pan fresco to enjoy with my Minions.

“I always go here for takeout. I enjoy the sushi, and because they are located right across from an Asian market (I shop at) with fresh produce and fish, I know my orders will be tasty and fresh. The prices are very reasonable given the quality of the food. I will continue to go here.”

“They used to have one of these in Hayward. My family was extremely low income growing up but when we had anything extra, we'd get nachos from this place. I drove nearly two hours when I found out a sister restaurant existed after the one in Hayward closed a few years ago. Everything was the same. The menu, the atmosphere, the smell, the food. It was a little pricey, but it is and ever will be the best super nachos I've ever had anywhere. The chips are extra fried so they never get soggy. The meat is tender. The cheese is real mozzarella not that nasty orange canned crap. If you live near here, please support this business, and just know you won't find better nachos anywhere. They also sell HUGE slices of pizza which are delicious. And you just don't find many pizza by the slice spots anymore. Thanks for coming to my Tedtalk.”

“We met up here for breakfast and we were happy we did. We arrived as they opened. We learned that they start serving mariscos after 9am. We had chiliquiles verdes and machaca con huevos. Both plates were delicious. The chiliquiles had a small kick (spice) to it, which I loved. Homemade tortillas came with the machaca. We also had the agua de jaimica, which was good. Service was great and ambiance was great as well. We'd definitely come back.”
