“If you ever in town or passing through the Bay Area make sure to stop through and have a scoop or two of Double Rainbow delicious all naturally made ice cream. This location is black owned, the owner is amazing !!! The establishment is clean, nicely lighted, has sitting area inside, and friendly service. My Favorite is a quart of packed Strawberry with a waffle cone on the side. The strawberry has real strawberry is every bite. They have every flavor that you can possibly thing of Mango, Butter Pecan, Pistachio, Black Walnut, Coconut and much much more. The pics I have posted is a pics of my grandson for his birthday !!!They make ice creams cakes, milkshakes, bananas split, smoothies and ice cream sundaesThey accept cash, debit and tap pay. !!!“
“Go to spot when I’m around and crave frozen yogurt. There’s a variety of boba drinks, smoothies, frozen yogurt, toppings, snacks, and more. Sometimes the menu is a bit overwhelming, but you’ll never get bored due to all the options they are able to provide.“

“When they first opened they were on top of their customer service but now it seems as if it’s declined. The manager (older male) was really attentive, had a great conversation with him and even tried all their ice cream. The antojitos is all good so this review is not about the food/snacks. Some of the staff is friendly and they do everything rushed and sloppy. This is my third time asking for paleta de fresa de agua and I get the wrong ones, this time I took a picture of it but the other two times I threw them out cause they are too sweet with the crema inside. I mentioned it to the girl that helped me out, I asked are you sure it’s the right one cause I been given the order wrong the past two times and she assured me and the girl that was overseeing her also said the same thing But, still got it wrong. They need training on their own items maybe if they were labeled they would but it’s disappointing to spend between $50-60 every time I go and get the wrong stuff.“
“Excellent service and everything I am a client ?May it continue to grow.I was going through it for 4 years. And I never knew they sold crepes.Until they recommended me. The only detail is that there was something more striking outside so that customers can identify a sign. But otherwise, everything is excellent.“

“If you like good things, you’ll love Bad Walter! Don’t expect low-calorie or fancy or bougie. This is “my soul needs ice cream” kind of ice cream. This is “my inner child feels neglected” ice cream. This is the kind of ice cream that will actually make a break-up okay. 10/10 recommend.
Seriously, the Rainbow Road is legitimately the best ice cream I’ve ever had and it’s a problem that it’s not available all the time. The owner really should resolve this issue.“

“Lexie's Frozen Custard has some of the nicest customer service and best dessert in Berkeley. I've been a regular here for about a year now, and just realized I never wrote a review! When I fell outside their store, they offered me an ice pack. Today they gave me two cherries in my sundae, so I have sworn allegiance to them forever. My favorite flavor of the day that has ever happened is banana caramel, but I also have enjoyed most of their flavors of the day. If I don't like their flavor of the day, I get a brownie sundae or a lemon raspberry sundae. Anyway, very tasty, highly recommended.“

“Vegan (& Gluten-free) flavors! I loved the pluot, the dark chocolate, and the walnut (that has no pieces of nuts in it, which is really helpful to those like me who can’t have much fiber). Additionally, I found all three flavors more refreshing than (sickeningly) heavy, and the flavors 🤩 🎇—like the grand finale of a fireworks show for the taste buds. I’ve only had about a spoonful of each so far but am in love 😍🤤😋. I didn’t go to the shop, someone brought me some, so I’m not able to give my opinion on the actual shop. From what I heard, though, it wasn’t as crazy as many ice cream places are on hot weekends! 😊“

“We visited from across the country, and this was our first visit to any of The Yard's locations. Sean was a bright spark in the place. They were just beautifully kind, and incredibly helpful. We went in for the milkshakes and they were very good, all the flavors, it was difficult to decide. I got the Pecan Turtle, which was so rich and good. We also ended up getting some cookie dough to bring back home (in our checked bag, which made it home beautifully after talking to Sean about if he thought it would work). The dough was also sooooo good! I think that there is something different about the dairy products in the PNW versus the South East, it's richer, and perhaps fresher. I definitely recommend this location, especially if you're lucky enough to see Sean 💙“

“It’s usually hard to find a place that has ice cream for the kids, boba for me, and blended ice coffee for the husband. This place has all and more! Prices are great. The large honeydew boba was only 5.25 + .60 for boba and tastes like the Melona honeydew ice pop.“

“Everytime I go there, the staff are always warm and welcoming. The prices are great as far as I'm concerned. They keep it very clean and tidy. It's never been too busy. And the atmosphere is perfect for a random after school treat worth the kids.“

“It's a great little spot for quick bite. They have good burgers and fries. They also have hot dogs, chicken strips, chicken sandwiches, chili fries, chocolate dipped ice-cream and much more. My favorite item is the twister. I get the Resses cup one but they have many other flavors. My daughter loves their sundaes. It's a little pricey but for me it's worth it.“

“I took our kids to Lappert's Ice Cream this Sunday and had such a great experience! There was a good crowd so I had high expectations. The line moved quickly and efficiently. The staff was incredibly engaging, friendly, and provided excellent customer service from start to finish.
They have a huge selection of ice cream flavors, including some really unique and delicious-looking options you won't find at most other ice cream shops. Everything we tried tasted amazing and was clearly high quality.
This was such a fun family stop, and we'll definitely be back again. Highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for great ice cream and a welcoming atmosphere!“

“Always come here for some good sweet treats. I always get the Classic Mangonada and my wife gets 1 scoop of Cookies and Cream and 1 Scoop of Strawberry. They have Mitchell's Ice Cream which is the best ice cream period. Saves me a trip from going into SF. The price is what it is! As a business owner I understand and you have to charge enough to stay in business! Quality over quantity. Nice little shop run by a nice person and she is a young entrepreneur. I support local!“
“From what I can tell, this is one of the best ice cream and sweet shops in Berkeley! It's hidden in Crave Subs, but it has a lot of appeal in its own right.
The stand is decorated with waffle-cone lattice and decorative ice cream cones attached to the ceiling. It has bright and attractive signs and electronic arms whirl the ice cream right in front of you. Not only is the storefront adorable, but it's also located in the cartoon-themed Crave Subs. You can tell that the working area is kept very clean.
The menu is actually pretty extensive. It's a place that sells croffles, crepes, scoops of flavored gelato, milkshakes, and coffee. The gelato here is incredible!
The prices are entirely what I would expect, and the quality is very high. Everything they serve is beautiful, tasty, and carefully made! It appeals to children and adults alike.
The service is great! They are friendly and careful attentive with their work.

“I’ve only had their smoothies and tasted the ice cream . It’s pretty good haven’t been disappointed . Thai tea ice cream is fire 🔥 . They do close early , earlier than their posted hours though sometimes a half hour early so best to arrive over an hour before they close . I haven’t tried their banh mi but they do seem pricey at nearly 18 dollars each!“

“please hire more workers if rushes are going to make the wait for ice cream more than 30 minutes …. the ice cream is so good besides that. but it’s clear that having only one person making the ice cream results in wait times that are unreasonable for even rolled ice cream …. i get that rushes happen and a lot of people can come in at once but then be honest about wait times before i pay….“
