“I'll start off by saying yes, this does taste just as good as it looks. I'm so glad I gave this place a shot. It was super eye catching and looked like a very unique take on ice cream. Their flavors and pastries are all hand crafted from what I could tell and it shows because they taste amazing. Everything I had was absolutely delicious and I'll definitely be coming back. When we went, there was only one person working so be prepared to wait but I promise that it's worth it. I will say next time I'll probably go with a regular scoop because I feel like I got less ice cream than my girlfriend who didn't get the bun. The bun however, was very flavorful and wasn't too thick, which I appreciated. Also if you get a bun, it does melt and get messy which is to be expected so be prepared for that. “The first thing I noticed about this place when I walked in was how warm and toasty it was, which I very much appreciated since it was cold and windy outside. It made indulging in gelato a pleasant experience regardless of the weather.I sampled the vegan passion fruit gelato and then ordered a scoop of it in a small waffle cone. I wanted the vegan vainilla to pair with the passion fruit, but the staff informed me it was mislabeled and unfortunately wasn't vegan. I didn't have any lactase tablets on me, so I stuck with the safe option.There's not much seating inside because it's a small establishment, but eventually, a couple of tall chairs at the window bar opened up. This place is super cute and cozy and conveniently located next to several restaurants and stores. It's a great place to stop by for dessert!“
“We stopped here to get ice cream the other day, and we're very glad we did. The flavors were really excellent, especially the salted caramel, which I think may have only been a temporary flavor. (My girlfriend remarked that it was one of the best ice cream flavors she had ever had.) The prices were quite low, we thought, and the servings very large: A double in a waffle cup was definitely more ice cream than I needed, but I'm not complaining. There are some slight disadvantages of this shop. For example, they won't do normal cups for a single or double scoop, only for a pint or quart, and so you either have to get a waffle cup, which I don't really value, or a metal cup, which means you can't leave. Also, they don't have compostable spoons or anything like that, only offering metal ones, which again means if you're eating from a bowl and don't have your own spoon, you need to stay put. This wasn't the worst thing in the world, because the shop is on a nice town strip with some benches outside, but in a rush it is a bit less convenient than I would like. Also, the store doesn't offer samples, and so you don't really get to try your flavor in advance, but thankfully all the flavors we tried were pretty good. The storefront is also pretty small, and so I can imagine it getting quite busy if a bunch of people go at once, although that wasn't the case for us. All in all, this was a very good ice cream shop, and we definitely recommend it to other people. Try the salted caramel if you can!“

Upon entering we were greeted by the employees and could request samples to try out their unique ice cream flavors. I sampled the Banana Puddin, but I didn't end up with that one because I didn't think it had enough banana flavor. I then sampled the Creme Fraiche, and that one tasted a lot like cheese/sour cream so I decided to pair it with the Brown Sugar Lavender. In a small bowl you can get up to 2 flavors, so that is what I did, and it did not disappoint. The interior of the place gives a lot of retro diner vibes, it felt very nostalgic. I enjoyed my ice cream with my friends sitting at one of the tables while seeing other customers come in and sit down at the bar to order their own ice cream. There's a variety of options to choose from, which includes milkshakes, ice cream sandwiches, boozy floats, and more. I think the unique menu in both flavor and types of desserts make the Ice Cream Bar have an identity of its own compared to other ice cream parlors. If I'm ever in the area again, I look forward to their rotation of flavors and trying out the other desserts“

You could taste the ingredients and the ice cream was great without being "syrup-y". The staff was super friendly, but be warned that they do not always have all the flavors all the time. We waited for about 15 min because we wanted to try the funfetti cookie and some were just coming out of the oven. There were also a few ice cream flavors not in stock. You can take it on-the-go and walk around Fisherman's Wharf, or you can sit in a few picnic tables and chairs to eat it there. Worth a stop and better than the chain ice cream shops nearby.“

“I've lived near this dessert spot for a whole year before trying it and I'm mad at myself that it took so long. This place is incredible and had one of the best desserts I've ever had in my life. I had the strawberry yuzu cheesecake and my tastebuds were overjoyed. There aren't enough words to describe how delectable and delicious this dessert was. I've never tried a tuna melt, but it was raining today and it was calling my name. Not only was this tuna melt AMAZING, but it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! It's really awesome to try something for the first time and be blown out of the water! The jalapeño on this sandwich gave it a nice subtle heat and added layer of flavor. The sourdough bread was perfectly toasted. First time here and it didn't disappoint! I'm very impressed and I'll be back.“
