Stumbled upon this spot after eating pizza across the street. Ice Cream sandwich was very good, but on the expensive side. Service was fast, not much of a line. Interior had limited seating but we found a spot.
I am absolutely an ice cream sandwich person, so The Baked Bear was very much in my dessert lane. We stopped in while staying nearby in North Beach, and it was a fun, easy sweet treat within walking distance.
I ordered a chocolate chip cookie and a Cookie Monster cookie with cookie dough ice cream in the middle. He got two chocolate chip cookies with s’mores ice cream, and both were good. The cookie-to-ice-cream ratio was great, and it definitely hit the spot.
