“Very tasty - casual, order at a kiosk, bus your own tables, cute decor and plates/bowls. The chrysanthemum salad (delicious dressing & great fluffy texture), eggplant with tofu (so savory with the black bean sauce!), and the garlic tomato chow mein noodles were all great. Nice to have this excellent option in downtown Mill Valley. There’s a printed menu that has the vegan and vegetarian items marked, but the electronic kiosk does not! “It's really good and it serves food later than other places, i think until 10pm. I went there on Tuesday and i was happy to find a delicious restaurant that really wants to be known for their quality of food to be serving after 9pm. Thank you :-). And... The place is beautiful!”

“stopped in here for an afternoon beer or two with friends before a hotel check-in. For some reason the bartender kept leaving the bar to go in the kitchen and had to have another front of house staff member go get him every time we wanted to order. All the staff was nice enough and tap selection was excellent and diverse. A cool spot with standard beer garden style tables and benches, a pirate ship playground, a nice interior with lots of seating also and lots of heaters for the cooler evenings. A solid spot to drink day or night.”

Good:
- Prompt service - our food came out quickly!
- The strawberry matcha oat latte was super tasty! Wasn't too sweet either
- The korean scramble was great! Huge portion sizes and the potato was freshly crisped
- Cute interior, but it's pretty small inside

Bad:
- The french toast special here is way too sweet it made me a bit nauseous at the end
- Pretty expensive, about $38pp for 2 entrees and a drink

Overall this was a solid brunch spot and super full by the end.”

Millie’s Crêpe et Crème sits inside the Mill Valley Lumberyard, quietly confident. A small window, patterned tiles, handwritten menus. Nothing competing for attention.

The crepes are the point. Thin, warm, just crisp at the edges. Sweet or savory, done properly without trying to impress. Organic wheat or buckwheat, and the gluten-free option feels intentional.

The details carry it. Buffalo milk soft serve from Double 8 Dairy. Coffee from Signal in Berkeley. Paper plates turned into menu cards, casually lined up behind the counter like a still life that happens to be useful.

Then the courtyard. Wooden tables, string lights, a slow rotation of dogs and locals who already know. You sit down for a few minutes and time softens around you.

“One of the best coffee shops I’ve visited recently is located near the mountains. We visited around 7:30 am on a Saturday morning, and it was already packed. The ambiance was beautiful, with the mountains providing a stunning backdrop.

I ordered the strawberry honey latte with an almond croissant. The coffee was soothing, creamy, and perfectly brewed to my liking. It had a unique flavor that I couldn’t resist. The almond croissant was equally delicious. Every bite was moorish, and the almond filling was not too sweet.

My friends ordered a cream cheese bagel and orange juice, and they also enjoyed their drinks. Overall, I had a great morning before visiting the scenic redwood valley. I highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone looking for a delicious and relaxing coffee experience.”

“Best Banh mi EVER. Mill Valley location has perfected this sandwich. Good quality meat, portions of each individual ingredient- spectacular. And I'm dying to know what was in their chili oil, it was very unique and flavorful. I get bbq pork but the flavor somehow still feels traditional to a patay. Will be patronizing often, I recommend you do too.”

“I was hungry. They fed me. Mom and pop shop right next to the water. Wonderful place to enjoy breakfast or lunch. I got the Avacado toast and to be honest it wasn’t fantastic but it was not bad. It was a better option than fast food when looking for a place to eat on our road trip. I would like to try some other things on the menu before saying the food is good or bad. But overall the place is really cute and I enjoyed the experience”

“I get dozens of bagels from New York Bagels in Strawberry Village every Saturday with my kids; it’s become our weekend ritual. The bagels are fresh, chewy, and come in tons of flavors. We love the friendly, speedy service and the option to buy by the dozen. A top spot for bagel lovers in the area!”

“I got the roast beef on gluten free bun and it was all I could ever ask for in a deli sandwich. The gluten free bun was soft but thick and super yummy. I got tomato and lettuce and avocado and roast beef and bacon. I got it delivered through uber eats so I can’t really comment on the atmosphere. But the sandwich was amazing. The only drawback to the sandwich is it’s a little small. It’s 6 inches and I ate a handful of nuts with it to feel full. Besides that yummy.”

“I have been to a LOT of Chinese restaurants. The General Tso and Sesame Chicken at Shang Hai Kitchen is by far the best I've ever had. Also their fried rice so so light and delicious.

My husband ordered the Hirame Carpacccio, Salmon lemon roll and bacon wrapped mochi. He claimed the bacon wrapped mochi had the best bites of the night. It appeared to have the same sauce as the Brussel sprouts which was delicious. The angry Edamame had a delicious chili garlic oil. The food was solid. The service was attentive and friendly.”
