“Had a fantastic experience at Burmatown. The staff and Chef Jenny were incredibly kind, and the food was out of this world.”

“The atmosphere is lovely and service is great but food quality is sub par. Our group ordered different meat plates and none of our orders were cooked correctly; some were undercooked and some were overcooked. The taste of the food reflected the lack of consistency as well; seasoning and meat quality didn’t impress us and we are not picky eaters. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant if food quality is your main priority but if you want to enjoy your dinner in a place with good service and atmosphere, it’s a great choice.”

“First time there and I came with my wife and two young kids. Food and service was excellent. We got a quesadilla and tacos. I preferred the quesadilla and my wife preferred the tacos. The place is kind of small so you can’t come with a large party and fit comfortably but other than that this place had no flaws. We will be back soon!”

“They have the absolute best pizza crust in all of Marin as far as me, my neighbors, and friends can attest. The owner did extensive research for the ideal crust and the rest of topping options are bonuses. The white sauce is the BEST.”

“Food is only 4 stars because they don't have a full kitchen, but the bites they serve are perfect. I recommend the prosciutto wrapped dates.

The owners are warm, inviting, and knowledgeable about their inventory. Will visit again for sure.

“Ate here for the first time and loved it! Everything was excellent quality. My husband and I split the seasonal salad (greens, feta, sweet potato, avocado, tangerine, radish, and pumpkin seeds with avocado lime dressing) The veggies were fresh and perky and I loved the combination of flavors. I got the chalet burger which featured a perfectly cooked, thick beef patty, toasted and floofy gluten-free bun, arugula, mushrooms, swiss cheese, tomato, and I added housemade pickles. My husband got the seasonal burger which was also delicious. Then soft serve with olive oil and flaky salt. Appreciate the grass-fed beef and all the seasonal specials. Will definitely be back!”

“I have semi-mixed feelings on this place. I simply ordered the royale matcha latte with almond milk. It was almost $10 with a tip. I was upset to see the matcha is premixed in a pitcher. So basically she just poured me a cup of milk and matcha mix for nearly $10. However, it did taste like a pretty good quality ceremonial matcha. I can imagine they make the premix to make it easier for workers during rush times. I will come back if I’m really desiring a matcha because I do think this one tasted better and more quality than many other cafes I’ve ordered from in Marin, though I do prefer it be made fresh. That aside, the woman who took my order was very friendly.”

I was tired and hungry after driving around in SF looking for a decent seafood place, but parking was horrible. Drove up the 101 to this wonderful place in Corte Madera. I will definitely come back again the next time I’m in the area.”

“Consistent and delicious. Margaritas were perfect. I'm not sure what they do to the totopos but they are the best. Mole was terrific. So glad Sam is still behind the bar...he's a tremendous asset to this place.”

“One of the best! We love Easy Breezy because of their delicious toppings, but they don’t always have the best ice cream flavors. One time we went and they didn’t even have chocolate or vanilla at all! But still, overall their frozen yogurt is amazing! “I was in from out of town and craving thai. This was fabulous! I had the vegetable spring rolls with prawns and the massaman lamb curry. The vegetable rolls (spring) were fresh and delicious with a warm peanut sauce and the curry flavor was rich. I ordered my food to go, and the curry didn't come with rice, which I wasn't used to. But no matter. It was all delicious and I highly recomend.”

“I have always enjoyed stopping by this Philz for a coffee and some downtime. Vibe is chill, great coffee, and comfortable seating.

But I'm writing this review primarily to give a huge THANK YOU and shoutout to the management and employees here - an incredibly kind and trustworthy group of folks.

I lost my wallet just before a big trip, and after calling around, the manager of this Philz informed me that they were in possession of my wallet after it was found on a chair the day prior. The manager and employees kept it safe and upon retrieval, it still had all my belongings - including a substantial amount of loose cash.

The team here not only provide great service, but are kind and full of integrity - just one more reason to stop by!”
