Plus, Joanne's been serving up plates and sass as the resident waitress mama for decades. She's like Flo from the 1970s sitcom Alice, minus the English - or rather, she's saying it all in Chinese. Funny, tough exterior, gem of a person once you get to know her.”

“Miso soup was good; not super flavorful but at least not overly salty like so many. Donburi was served in a flat plate with protein on top, rather than in the traditional bowl. I like the change; easier to get a mixed chopstick full of protein and rice. There is a lovely outdoor space where you could enjoy watching the bike path traffic but unfortunately it was not usable during my visit due to yellow jackets.”

“I came here after a great dinner at the Thai restaurant within walking distance. The wine and beer selection was right up my alley, I had a wonderful Malbec then followed it up with a local craft beer and left having made new friends with some of the locals and the owner Tony.”

“My fiancée and I adore this place. We visit wine country half a dozen times a year and always make a point to stop here. Everything is super fresh and delicious. A side salad with your choice of meat is more than enough. Grab a bottle of the crazy good rose and an extra dipping sauce for the Greek fries and you’ll be set.”

“This was a FABULOUS dinner - I could not have asked for more!! The atmosphere was calm but still lively on this Saturday night. There was jazz playing lightly in the background intermingled with the content chatter of the patrons. I sat outdoors with patio lanterns and kept pleasantly comfortable with warnth coming from overhead heating. My dinner was fantastic, plenty of vegetarian options and I was not feeling rushed but had only a short wait for my order. You know it is great offerings when there is a constant flow of take out orders.The service here was EXCELLENT - ABOVE AND BEYOND!”

“Fantastic tea and I’ve really only scratched the surface at R of T. I’ve been drinking the Cinnamon Cardamom tea for over 20 years and now buy the bulk 250 bag count. Perfect for in the evenings and before bed when a caffeinated hot beverage would otherwise keep a person awake.
The flavor is unmatched as I’m certain their other flavors must be.”

“This is the archetypical old hamburger place - the kind you see in films set in the '50s - with the requisite burgers, hot dogs, soft serve cones, and fries, all pretty good. They definitely beat McDonald's, because everything's made on the spot and the prices are pretty throwback too - this, the original M&G's, takes credit cards. They've got a few modern takes of fast food on the menu too. If you're thinking of a burger in downtown Fairfax, this is the place. There's another branch of M& G's on magnolia avenue Larkspur that's cash only, and just as good.”

“Hands down some of the tastiest pizza I’ve ever had. The crust is amazing, and sauce is tangy and savory, and the pizza always comes out pipping hot and fresh. Always a favorite, never leave with food still on the plate.”

“A variety of delights similar to Ferry Building but do have limitations on availability due to lower supply on Macaroons. A smaller store makes for tight spot if more that 2-3 people but good for pick up to go will swing by if in area and hope they have the flavor of Macaroons I look for”

“We ordered several items for breakfast. Lemon croissant was great, and the breakfast burrito was cheesy and delicious. The avocado on toast was cold, as was the bacon on top. Carlos asked how everything was and when i suggested these improvements he was all ears and quick to report to the kitchen. He then returned with kitchen apologies and offered me a complementary pastry which I thought was total class. His service alone made it an enjoyable experience.”

Such a great place to hang out and the food is absolutely amazing.. expect to wait a little so your best bet is to get a croissant or one of the pastries ready to eat while you wait for your order. It is totally worth the wait! We did go on a Saturday and it was busy, not sure if it’s always that way. Crepes are delicious! Eggs Benedict are so good and the croissant sandwiches are amazing. Can’t pick my favorite.”

“The restaurant experience was great! Service was super kind. I got the Al pastor tacos and liked them. I do however wish that the tacos came with two corn shells instead of just one as they fell apart instantly. I also only got one napkin. I didn't get the salsa verde until the person came out and offered it but once I put it on the tacos it was so so good. I think if this restaurant put the sauce out with the meal and put two corn tortillas on every taco this would be an easy five star.”
