I also always get their spinach empanadas—they’re so good and honestly one of my favorite things on the menu. Everything tastes fresh, the portions are great, and the staff is always friendly. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!”

Plus, Joanne's been serving up plates and sass as the resident waitress mama for decades. She's like Flo from the 1970s sitcom Alice, minus the English - or rather, she's saying it all in Chinese. Funny, tough exterior, gem of a person once you get to know her.”

“Fantastic tea and I’ve really only scratched the surface at R of T. I’ve been drinking the Cinnamon Cardamom tea for over 20 years and now buy the bulk 250 bag count. Perfect for in the evenings and before bed when a caffeinated hot beverage would otherwise keep a person awake.
The flavor is unmatched as I’m certain their other flavors must be.”

“Best Thai food in Marin. A locally owned gem in the rough where other nearby options are mediocre at best and overpriced. Besides the excellent food (my favorites being the Panang Curry, Beef Salad, and Golden Chicken Nuggets) I appreciate the prompt and friendly service here. The view from the back patio is serene and beautiful as well!”

“Hands down some of the tastiest pizza I’ve ever had. The crust is amazing, and sauce is tangy and savory, and the pizza always comes out pipping hot and fresh. Always a favorite, never leave with food still on the plate.”

“This is the archetypical old hamburger place - the kind you see in films set in the '50s - with the requisite burgers, hot dogs, soft serve cones, and fries, all pretty good. They definitely beat McDonald's, because everything's made on the spot and the prices are pretty throwback too - this, the original M&G's, takes credit cards. They've got a few modern takes of fast food on the menu too. If you're thinking of a burger in downtown Fairfax, this is the place. There's another branch of M& G's on magnolia avenue Larkspur that's cash only, and just as good.”

“A variety of delights similar to Ferry Building but do have limitations on availability due to lower supply on Macaroons. A smaller store makes for tight spot if more that 2-3 people but good for pick up to go will swing by if in area and hope they have the flavor of Macaroons I look for”

“Music is WAY TOO LOUD early AM. I requested they lower the volume, couldn't notice any difference. My wife commented it's unlikely any patron would ask to increase the volume. So true.
