“You can't top Dj's Chinese Cuisine in Larkspur. The lunch specials are indeed a good value for a Marin restaurant, and I'm all about disorganization. Plus, Joanne's been serving up plates and sass as the resident waitress mama for decades. She's like Flo from the 1970s sitcom Alice, minus the English - or rather, she's saying it all in Chinese. Funny, tough exterior, gem of a person once you get to know her.“

The service is good. The gentlemen running the shop are friendly .And if there are any issues with your order the immediately resolve the problem no stress. I do suggest you check and double check b4 leaving EVERY TIME though. 🤣 that’s my lil joke with them but I really do check. They are great. The time I used the restroom it was clean. The place also is clean. They always play sports on the tv. Doesn’t bother me at all. I love it there. I suggest you give them a try.
It has several schools kinda surrounding it and a laundry mat next door so lunchtime and right afterschool may be a little crowded or loud but I don’t mind.

“Red boy has long been our favorite pizza place around Southern Marin. The sausage they use is particularly good. Unfortunately, lately who's ever making the crust is not evening it out properly. The crust under the fillings is way too thin and most of the bread has been pushed out to the rim which is now way too fat. Hopefully it's just a temporary problem with a new pizza maker learning the craft, but we did not enjoy eating big gobs of bread the last two times.“

They definitely beat McDonald's, because everything's made on the spot and the prices are pretty throwback too - this, the original M&G's, takes credit cards. They've got a few modern takes of fast food on the menu too. If you're thinking of a burger in downtown Fairfax, this is the place. There's another branch of M& G's on magnolia avenue Larkspur that's cash only, and just as good.“

“We ordered several items for breakfast. Lemon croissant was great, and the breakfast burrito was cheesy and delicious. The avocado on toast was cold, as was the bacon on top. Carlos asked how everything was and when i suggested these improvements he was all ears and quick to report to the kitchen. He then returned with kitchen apologies and offered me a complementary pastry which I thought was total class. His service alone made it an enjoyable experience.“

“I come here sometimes it’s very good histories and overrated for because it’s very good but also located and a very good place and mostly I will give it a fly but today I’ll give it a floor because the varieties of pastries you could choose from there are not a lot“

“The restaurant experience was great! Service was super kind. I got the Al pastor tacos and liked them. I do however wish that the tacos came with two corn shells instead of just one as they fell apart instantly. I also only got one napkin. I didn't get the salsa verde until the person came out and offered it but once I put it on the tacos it was so so good. I think if this restaurant put the sauce out with the meal and put two corn tortillas on every taco this would be an easy five star.“
