“We stood masked in line at few moments after 11:00am on the Friday before Memorial Day, waiting to place our order. Most of the outdoor tables were occupied so we headed to an indoor table with our order number sign. We had each ordered the ham and Brie baguette and 1 Coke and 1 lemonade. We ordered the baguettes to be heated. They were delivered to us at the table and were larger than we expected but they were warm, gooey, and delicious. We almost felt like we were in Europe and happy to be - tho it would have been more pleasant if we hadn't had to wear masks. No problem there, just the thought that we would like to get back to the old "normal!"“

“A very nice and pleasant place for a Sunday morning. Busy but relaxed. The bakery had an amazing number of choices and their Croissant was just perfect (just enough crisp, butter, and fluffy). The coffee likewise is very fresh and tasty. Highly recommend it for a moment of relaxation in your busy day.“
“Between my wife and me we ate four of the turkey baguettes and a mocha. The sandwiches were tasty and a cut above deli fare but certainly didn't justify a $10 price for each sandwich. A quaint place but don't bring your appetite.“

“I cannot tell you how much I love this new French restaurant! It is like having a bit of Paris in Marin. The food is amazing - the best croissants outside France. The salads and crepes are divine. The service is excellent, especially Stella!! I am so happy we have this new restaurant!!“

“Authentic Italian bakery. 1 product, foccacia, done to perfection. My Italian grandpa lived in North Beach and brought it to Sunday dinners every week. Now, generations later, a stop at Liguria is mandatory. But get there early, or you will be disappointed. 5 star best foccacia ever.“

“I travel to France often so when I was in San Francisco and heard about this cafe from Red Blossom Tea Company because they sell some of their teas. It was like walking into a French cafe. I loved their baked goods options. I had a beurre cookie. Délicieux.“

“Holy Nata - 8 Trinity Place, San Francisco, CA
Let me be clear. These pastries? They're amazing. The taste? All I can say is this: walk over, order one, walk out, take a bite, and tell me if you didn't immediately turn around and go back for six more. It's that good. Holy Nata is not just a bakery, it's a walk-back-in kind of place. Don't say I didn't warn you!“

“I haven’t tried the famous egg tart from the legendary Golden Gate Bakery, even after marrying my roommate, who grew up in the Bay Area for more than 8 years. The custard tart from Golden Gate Bakery is $3.75, which is a little pricey, and it's not my type, so we won't revisit again.“

“Fun little shop! In and out, pick your diabetes poison, pay cash or card, enjoy outside. I had my mind on ANY of the buns. Just waited in line for a sign. Something fresh was brought out, the guy ahead of us ordered 6, I asked what's that, they said "the real pineapple bun", of course we got it, and 2 mini mooncakes (pineapple and winter melon)!
Bun was warm, suger crust, and ooey gooey middle with Pina chunks! HEAVENLY
Not vegan, probably vegetarian. I took one full lactaid.“
“You can feel the love and care the team puts into everything they make, and they’re so welcoming every time. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing, the almond croissant is perfectly flaky, and the donuts are a delight. Honestly, everything we tried was just perfect“

“The birth place of fortune cookies. This place is small and a perfect place to see how fortune cookies are made. They make fresh cookies and serve you. You can buy several varieties of fortune cookies from this place. Also the highlight is that u can customize fortune cookies for your friends and family. This place is pretty famous and is always crowded.“

“So good!!! We got 6 pastries for 2 people, everything was so good. My favorite was caramelized pineapple pie, milk bun, melon bun with ham, and passion fruit custard bun.
Started staying in line 5 min before opening, and I think we go the last caramelized pineapple pie. so, if wanna get the popular items, make sure to come there early“

“Honest, down-to-earth coffee with normal prices and if you're lucky like we were, a few neighbors sit together at the next table and talk about their everyday lives, which makes everything real and endearing. The coffee and cake were very good and the whole thing without shouting names, some of you will probably know what I mean.
Opposite is a park where you can watch Thai Chi groups and a few steps away is a great church, Peter and Paul, worth a visit if you like it.“

“We had a grilled chicken sandwich that was excellent, and a chorizo omelette that was tasty but quite heavy. The service was friendly and welcoming, but it was slow—from taking our order to serving the food and refilling coffee or water, everything took a bit longer than expected.“

“My husband is gluten free and I search for options for him whenever we travel. I was beyond excited to find Mariposa and we stopped for breakfast before our Alcatraz tour. Their bakery items were delicious and wish we could have had more! I wish they would have labeled that the olive oil/bacon/cheese swirl has olives in it as I would've chosen something else but the cheddar almond scone was amazing! Wish we could've taken a bunch home.“

“I was rather upset when I moved into Marin County because my favorite bread place was Raymond's in South San Francisco. Then one day at Safeway I decided to try a Bordenave's extra sour baguette. I am in Seventh Heaven. I'm hooked onto these beautifully tasting baguettes. One day I'll make it to their bakery in San Rafael.“

“I lived in the area for 20 years and it hard to believe that I never reviews this bakery which is wonderful, I really started to purchase bread from them on regular basis during covid where this was one of very few establishments that was open and I never stopped.
They are large array of products from sweet, savory to of course all kinds of breads. They walnut is delicious but the classic baggette is just perfect and focaccia is of so yummy.
There is no seats but plenty around Ferry Building.

Vegan bread available.
Ingredients clearly marked on most of their breads.“

“This place is the best and I hope they never close! I grew up in the area but now live out of the country and my family has relocated to the east bay but I still make the 60 min drive all the way to Jelly Donut whenever I come to visit them. The owners are super friendly and generous, often throwing in an extra freebie too. We've tried 4 other donut shops in the east bay and none are even close to as good as these. Long live Jelly Donut!“

“My second time ordering from Sarah and the amazing design options you see online are 100% realized. In addition, Sarah is cooperative & communicative in trying to meet order requests. The cupcakes are even more gorgeous than the eye-catching photos. I have no hesitation in ordering again and making Baked Blooms a first choice for future events.“

“I stopped by Stella Pastry in the heart of Little Italy, San Francisco, during the day and grabbed a cannoli to go—it was amazing! Super fresh, rich, and perfectly crispy. The filling was creamy and delicious. The staff was friendly, and it’s a great spot to visit if you’re strolling around Little Italy and craving a sweet treat. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!“

“I lived in Chinatown for a number of years and in my opinion, this is THE BEST Chinese bakery!!! “Family stopped in while passing through. They were pretty crowded for 10:30am on a Friday, but service was fast. They have about 12+ flavors of bagels and about the same number of cream cheeses (also available low fat which is nice). They also have sandwich options, several serve yourself coffee options and bottled juices. I had a cheddar -jalapeño bagel with lox spread and it was the best bagel I've had in quite some time (including a recent trip to NYC). It's a tiny place, but I highly recommend.“

“I never knew focaccia bread could taste this good. And the malted rye brownies, oh my, so heavenly. How lucky to have this gem in Terra Linda. The instructions for how to place an order on the website work perfectly and pickup is very easy.“
“A must go to place. We went because of the chicken pot pies that are famous everywhere within 50 miles of here. We arrived at 10:20 and was told the pies are in the oven come back at 11. No problem for us. We bought two hot chicken pot pies, one bbq beef pie, one lemon bar and a shortbread cookie. Got to our car and ate the cookie. Went right back to the bakery and bought four more. The chicken pot pie was wonderful. Delicious crust, perfect sauce, high quality chicken and lots of peas, carrots and potatoes. The pork pie was perfect as well. Go here and try for yourself. Very reasonable prices and the people are wonderful. Yummy yummy.“

“Reasonably priced bakery located in Chinatown. They accept credit cards including Amex. Clean bakery with tables and seating inside. We got 2 bubble milk teas, egg tart and green onion bun which came out to $13.50. The 2 ladies working the counter were friendly too, answering and helping the other customers.“
“Great shortbread and sugar cookies. Perfect consistency. Flavors are just right and not overly sweet. I have been buying these cookies for the last couple of years when they show up at Lucinda’s burrito shop in the dessert section. Beautifully decorated and they are really delicious.“
“You can't beat the Franciscan for view and pretty good food. We took some out-of-town guests there, and they enjoyed both. However, I was disappointed in the initial experience. Granted, we arrived 3 minutes before 12, when the restaurant opens. All the staff were standing around talking or sitting at tables with their eyes glued to their phones. Two other parties were already waiting, and they said they didn't have a reservation, so I went forward to say I'd booked a table for 4 by the window. The gossiping staff told me to go wait by the door. Then we were seated last. What's the point of having a reservation is you get treated this way?“
“Every single person, from the staff to the owners, are so extremely friendly and personable. They make it known that you’re a valued customer and treated as such! Their cakes are delicious, always a good price and love their discount when you buy a goodie bag! Highly recommend this place for any work occasion, birthday or just because :)“

“Convenient location if you work in FiDi, fresh baked goods everyday! I love the Lavender Sea Salt mini shortbread cookies!!!! Their bakery is in Russian Hill (Polk St), but I work right across the street from their kiosk.Tip: take a look at the chalk A-board outside for special items they have that day! I almost walked by the other day till I stopped after seeing the Banana Nutella muffin! The girl said they don't have it available everyday :D I also get the mint chocolate cookie when they have it too.“
