The Ciracha Chicken Sandwich was a highlight - the chicken was tender and juicy, with a perfect balance of spicy and tangy from the Ciracha sauce. Paired with the refreshing Arnold Palmer drink, it made for a satisfying and filling meal. The bakery itself has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with friendly staff and a wide variety of tasty treats on display. I was impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the care that went into crafting each sandwich. If you're in the area, Rustic Bakery is a must-visit for a delicious and satisfying meal. “It's been said that when you die and go to heaven it will be better than you could have ever imagined. That's how I feel about Empirio Rulli. It's got a beautiful ambiance with pastries that rival any I've had anywhere. The Custard Bombolini was so good with delicious custard like I've never had. My cappuccino was excellent. This is a must visit kind of place.“
“I've not been able to find any other bakery that uses high quality ingredients, is transparent about the ingredients they use and tastes fabulous. Miette does not compromise on ingredients. They source the best. For those for whom quality ingredients matter, I haven't found anything comparable.“
“Between my wife and me we ate four of the turkey baguettes and a mocha. The sandwiches were tasty and a cut above deli fare but certainly didn't justify a $10 price for each sandwich. A quaint place but don't bring your appetite.“
“I can't believe I've lived in San Francisco my entire life and hadn't had Liguria's focaccia until last month. I came in right before 9:00am on a Tuesday and was able to get three slabs of the pizza focaccia ($9 each), which is what my colleague who grew up in North Beach recommended, to bring to the office. It was easily one of the best focaccia I've ever had! No wonder they typically sell out well before they close for the day. I'll definitely be back to try the other kinds. Note: they're cash only.“

“I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!! Krispy Kreme who? These donuts are beyond words of delicious and delightful. I drive from the East Bay usually late night when my husband and I are craving phenomenal donuts. The donuts are extremely fresh, the times I've been here there has been an older gentleman making them and racks of donuts ready to be bought. Yummmmmmm. Just incredible tasty donuts. You can tell the oil they get made in is also very fresh, no after taste of old oil. Donuts are not super greasy. The service is magnificent! The first time coming here the woman was extremely helpful and kind. The second time a young man helped us and he had a great personality and energy. He was telling us some of the stories of the donut place. Really enjoyed his service! The ambiance is an old school donut shop with closed off seating area but looks very vintage. Grab and go type of donut shop right on Polk St. RECOMMEND THIS PLACE 100% :)“
“Do you know how fortune cookies are made? This fun little visit will show you. A free sample and lots to choose from. I never knew there were different kinds of fortune cookies. And you can get flats ones, too. No fortune, but great with your coffee! They even have some fortunes in French.“
“Oh man the egg tarts here truly are the best which is why whenever the bakery is open, there's a line out the door. Literally a line out the door since you can't go inside. It's definitely a unique little shop so know what to expect. What to expect? A long line, pay cash and the owner cracks the door open and gives you your delicious egg tarts and takes your cash!“
“The coffee drinks are great...beautiful foamy presentation, yummy, and perfect temperature. The pastries and cookies are to die for. The service is very prompt and friendly. Ambiance has a very boutiquey feel. There's a large parking lot nearby or can do street parking. Very safe area. I'm from San Jose but, I love coming here.“
