“Music is WAY TOO LOUD early AM. I requested they lower the volume, couldn't notice any difference. My wife commented it's unlikely any patron would ask to increase the volume. So true.

“A variety of delights similar to Ferry Building but do have limitations on availability due to lower supply on Macaroons. A smaller store makes for tight spot if more that 2-3 people but good for pick up to go will swing by if in area and hope they have the flavor of Macaroons I look for“

“Ordered a lemon poppyseed cake and iced latte. The latte was very smooth and perfect. While the texture of the cake was good with the poppyseeds adding great crunch, the lemon flavor of it was missing. Could have added more lemon zest and juice to it. As for the icing, it’s sugar icing. So there is nothing to complain about.“

“A delightful classic Chinatown bakery that looks like it hasn't changed in decades. They carry all the classics, though I'd recommend getting a cocktail bun (if you're lucky they'll still be warm from the oven). A few small stools and chairs inside, often with a bunch of old fellows sitting around talking. This place is great, don't change a thing ❤️“

“I’d go as far as to say this is the best egg tart I’ve had in the Bay Area.

The pastry was crisp and flaky, while the custard inside was silky, creamy, and incredibly smooth. I do wish they were served warm rather than pulled from a pre-made batch, because that fresh-out-of-the-oven warmth would’ve taken them to another level !

That said, the balance was kind of impeccable. Not overly sweet, but not so restrained that it felt bland either. Nothing about it was particularly over-the-top, it was just really well executed.

“I am Italian. We passed by here by chance in 2017 and apparently 8 years later we are still talking about it. A dive into the past and a focaccia to remember; a bit on the soft side compared to the way we have them where I am from. Packed with care.“

“Victoria's is a jewel among many in North Beach, but might be one of the brightest. Pastries are all made in-house from Italian recipes over 100 years old. I find the Princess Cake to be absolute heaven, along with the Lavazza drip coffee. They also have an impressive gluten free cookie selection, which are scrumptious to even gluten eaters.

The staff are always so incredibly sweet and personable. Victoria's is a true treasure and deeply beloved, I see patrons returning from near and far, regularly!“

“Came over for some pineapple buns and egg tarts. A word of caution pineapple buns here do use pork fat so be careful if you have dietary restrictions. Ended up getting the egg tarts, the egg white ones tastes much richer than the egg yolk ones which is surprising. Also got the soy milk and boy was it an expensive cup lol $5.5. Each egg tart was $3. Was it good? Yes. But not to the point of the price point I would say $2 for egg tart and $3.5/4 for the drink kinda good.“

“My heart is full!!! I was visiting from out of town, stopped in this cute little cookie shop, I LOVE me an oatmeal raisin and they DID NOT disappoint!!!! Not often can one make a crispy AND soft oatmeal cookie! The staff triple the 5 stars and the cookies should have an infinity star button!! So happy and will come here again!“

“Not really a sit-down spot, but walked over and got some mini cheesecakes to go. Was impressed at the price and variety of flavors; only $2.50 per individual cheesecake and flavors ranging from caramel apple to s'mores to pumpkin. Excited at the potential of getting like eight different cheesecakes all in different flavors for less than $20. I plan on returning again. Cash only, for those who want to plan ahead.“

“We had the mango mochi, the skin was really good and soft. Was told it was homemade with mango juice infused. Friendly ladies at the counter and they gave us an extra one after having a few chats with them! Would recommend trying their breads too!“

“A piece of old San Francisco on one of the busiest blocks in North Beach. Charming decor right out of the 50’s. Excellent bread with the perfect crunch and the mortadellla sandwich is huge and delicious, as well as their homemade biscotti - great with a single espresso! “Creamy and flavorful. Used the app Too Good To Go to try out a surprise variety of cheesecakes from Nash Cakes, which I had been eyeing for a while. They were pretty cold when I got them so I let them sit out for 20 minutes before digging in. This really helped bring out their flavors and prevent any crumbling of the cheesecake when piercing through them with a fork. I tried the Traditional, Candy Cap and Lemon Poppy. All three were delicious. It’s hard to really rank them since they all had their own unique flavors. If I had to though, the Traditional would be #1 and then Candy Cap and Lemon Poppy come in at 2nd together. Just depends on what you’re in the mood for. Candy Cap being warm with maple notes, Lemon Poppy being fresh with light creamy citrus notes.“

Ms. Jenny, the manager, suggested trying the lemon bread, Queen Aman, raspberry croissants, and 'medium country' bread. Brahim, the owner's brother, highlighted the positives of working there. The area's connections to the Grateful Dead, Metallica, and Huey Lewis and the News and was at one time Bonnie Raite an Santana's residence make it even more special.“

“Baked Blooms absolutely came through for me last minute! I needed three boxes of cupcake bouquets for a Sweet 15, and they were able to help me on very short notice. I called the day before just to see if there was any way they could make it happen, and Sarah was so kind and accommodating. She went out of her way to set everything aside for me and made the whole process stress free.

The cupcake bouquets were beautiful and such a hit at the party. You can really tell they care about their customers and put love into what they do. I’m so grateful for their help and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for both amazing treats and excellent customer service!“

“My son and I were on vacation in San Francisco and Bob's Donuts got great reviews so we decided to give it a shot. Absolutely the best donuts I've ever had in my life. “We came across this adorable little ice cream truck, selling ice cream, cookies, and brownies. This place has a fun menu, where you can build your own custom ice cream sandwich, or order the ingredients (ice cream, cookies, and brownies seperatly). We ordered the combo, where we got a choice of a cookie, ice cream and a brownie on the bottom. We got fudge as a topping, the cookie monster cookie, toasted s'mores ice cream, and the brownie on the bottom (no special brownie flavors). The cookies are soft and tasty, and we actually bought some cookies later, simply because of how good they tasted. The ice cream tasted really good too, sweet and smores-like. The brownie was a little bit hard, but the ice crean melted and softened the brownie, and allowed for a more chewy bite, but at first it was definitely a little hard to chew into. The service was friendly and efficient. Outside the ice cream truck, there is some outdoor seating where you can eat while you have a view of the pier. I highly suggest getting some cookies and/or ice cream here, especially the cookies n cream cookie, and cookie monster cookie. Good place to get some ice cream and cookies at the pier! (And make your own ice cream sandwich!)“
