SOOOO GOOD!! it was so good i forgot to take a picture before digging in egg tarts $1.70 each. it is soooo yummyyyy. there's so much filling and the crust doesn't feel too dry like some other places. since it's made fresh the egg tart was still warm, which made it even better. i bought something else too that idk the name of, it was kinda pricey $4 and it was alright. but it's ok bc their egg tarts are so good. the place can get crowded with many local uncles and grandpas sitting...read full review
As much as I hate to admit it, my parents may have been right - maybe I do need to listen more.Knowing that I've been on a years-long hunt to find a Chinese bakery to replace one of my childhood favorites that shuttered, a couple of my relatives suggested I give Garden Bakery a try. I was ecstatic that Garden is still open and serving items from my childhood. The prices might have changed but the locals hanging out, the no bull cashiers are a constant. Go in, point to things you want. You won’t a a long line like other bakeries in Chinatown (which I don’t understand). From a Chinatown native, give this place a chance.
