Wong Lee Bakery Reviews
Got a nice pork floss bun here one morning. Cash only, I think
language barrier, but good dim sum!!
Very fast service. Everything was delicious. You get your food to go and if you like anything, get a dozen. I got chicken shumai, adzuki pancakes, egg tart, BBQ pork buns, and fried taro. I was in SF for 5 days and went back here 3 times.

Wong Lee Bakery serves authentic local food at affordable prices. The onion bread and pork and sesame dim sums are highly recommended. The egg custard tart stands out with its unique, undercooked but buttery crust and excellent custard. Other notable dishes include the pan-fried shrimp and chive, and the creamy rice porridge (congee or jook). This bakery is especially known for its mochi with peanut or red bean filling, and their homemade chow fun rice noodles, which many buy in bulk to take home. The restaurant is a takeout spot with an outdoor seating area. It offers a good experience with lovely staff, making it a great option in the neighborhood. Vegetarian options are available, including pan-fried soy sauce noodles and vegetable spring rolls. Customers appreciate the freshness and deliciousness of the food, often returning whenever they are in San Francisco.
