The best lotus moon cakes I've ever had. I make sure and stop in every time I'm in San Francisco. The owners are very friendly. They do not let anyone inside the store anymore though, all shopping has to be done on the sidewalk.
GG Bakery needs no intro. This hole-in-the-wall is famous for their fluffy, crusty egg tarts. These are by far the best egg tarts I've had in my life (and I've had a lot)! The minus one star is for the unpredictable hours of operation and the steep price of $3.75 for one tart! When did egg tarts get so expensive? Expect to wait in a long line, but what you get in the end is well worth the wait!

Oh man the egg tarts here truly are the best which is why whenever the bakery is open, there's a line out the door. Literally a line out the door since you can't go inside. It's definitely a unique little shop so know what to expect. What to expect? A long line, pay cash and the owner cracks the door open and gives you your delicious egg tarts and takes your cash!
