I never write reviews unless the experience and food was 10/10…. Well this my friends was indeed a 10/10. Well worth the hype! Every pastry was so delicious and the customer service was great! I was met with a smile and great attitude from an employee after waiting In line since 7:56am. I would do it all over again!
After hearing about this place for months and months, we finally got up early, waited in the line and spent nearly $100 on pastries. Was it worth it? I would say so even with the obnoxious line down and around the corner. It isn’t their fault for the long line , well kind of because all of the different items we tried were all tasty and delicious. I was honestly pretty skeptical about the plain croissant at first because this place is so hyped, but I was genuinely surprised by how good it was. It was incredibly flaky and buttery.
I mostly picked pastries with fruit fillings, and overall they were a bit too sweet for my taste. The peaches & cream croissant also had that slightly syrupy aroma from the peaches filling. I enjoyed the variety of textures in each pastry though. It made every bite interesting.
