“The coffee drinks are great...beautiful foamy presentation, yummy, and perfect temperature. The pastries and cookies are to die for. The service is very prompt and friendly. Ambiance has a very boutiquey feel. There's a large parking lot nearby or can do street parking. Very safe area. I'm from San Jose but, I love coming here.“
“I recently stopped by Rustic Bakery for lunch and was blown away by the delicious flavors! The Ciracha Chicken Sandwich was a highlight - the chicken was tender and juicy, with a perfect balance of spicy and tangy from the Ciracha sauce. Paired with the refreshing Arnold Palmer drink, it made for a satisfying and filling meal. The bakery itself has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with friendly staff and a wide variety of tasty treats on display. I was impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the care that went into crafting each sandwich. If you're in the area, Rustic Bakery is a must-visit for a delicious and satisfying meal. Five stars and I'll definitely be back!“
“Between my wife and me we ate four of the turkey baguettes and a mocha. The sandwiches were tasty and a cut above deli fare but certainly didn't justify a $10 price for each sandwich. A quaint place but don't bring your appetite.“
“Hands down THE best croissant in San Francisco. But they have so much more than that. Pates, quiches, desserts - and they all look so Parisian. Walking in is an exercise in self control. But the good news is, if you do cave in, it’s worth it!“
“So this was probably the best smoked salmon sandwich I had in my life so far. The Brazilian cream cheese is so good with the salmon! The coffee with milk didn't need sugar, it's just so refreshing on its own.I tried a small bite of the Veggie omelet, and the tapioca crepe is so good, and the omelet is even better.Highly recommended at the fisherman's wharf, with a order by number service, in a good location, I'm gonna say you have to try it here!Vegetarian options: You can get vegetarian options that are clearly marked. Pretty sure you can make minor substitutions, but you'll have to ask!“
“It’s not the best coffee in North Beach, but it’s hands down the best atmosphere for chilling or working. Iced coffee could be larger for the price tbh. The matcha isn’t good but their black drip coffee gets me buzzing. Also I wish they stayed open till 5 so I could finish out my day here!“
“Il Canto Cafe is pretty awesome. Hella convenient for me because my office is upstairs. Back in the day, this used to be a Tully's coffee. To the right of it used to be a pretty busy Chinese restaurant. All that is gone now. This morning I got really hungry and weren't quite ready for lunch yet. The guy said good morning to me when I went out for a cigarette, so I decided to try their breakfast croissant (cheese egg sausage) $7. It was tasty! It hit the spot and I was ready for work again. Take-out service was excellent.“
“I live in Sausalito incase anyone thinks I’m a regular and I’m trying to plug a friend’s place or whatever. This is the best breakfast in Marin. Food is so fresh and the staff are exceptional. I work in the service industry and don’t usually leave reviews. Really evident team culture and refreshing attitudes all round. Well done to all!“
“Super cute spot with great boba and friendly staff. I’ve had the brown sugar milk tea and the mango sticky rice inspired drink which is amazing and so unique and fun! Easy to order on the kiosk and quick service.Dietary restrictions: They don’t use powdered mixes so you can get the drinks dairy free with alternative milks“
“Came for a Too Good to Go. Paid 7$ for a full box that can make 2 meals honestly. It’s not with the 21$ expected for sure, but it’s still a very good deal, especially in this district !Everything was really goodHot when I went to pick it up“
“I hadn't been back at this place since the night we watched the fireworks for the Golden Gate Bridge's 75th anniversary ( many years ago, maybe 10). The man by the door was friendly and greeted us. But the bartender was not very friendly and frankly seemed like he would prefer for us to leave. We got an Irish Coffee for the old times to share. It was still great! Drank it quickly, paid and got out of there. Although still a good drink, I rather be somewhere where the staff are a bit more pleasant.“
“If you need a locksmith, I strongly suggest this locksmith and crew. They are incredibly prompt and professional. I phoned, and he arrived the same day, which was exceptional. He performed an excellent job at our property. In addition to replacing a lock and producing replacement keys, Team provided me with valuable information and suggestions regarding my type of lock.“
“Attention Chocoholics! When you're in San Francisco ----- This is the real deal! Recently visited the Ferry building in San Francisco and found this gem of an artisan small batch chocolate company. Three letters. OMG. The staff were super friendly. It was a cute small unassuming open store front with a little area to order grab-n-go style. The storefront was very clean, tidy and premium products were nicely and orderly displayed. The menu felt well thought out and artisan. It was a cool brisk overcast day and their hot chocolate was an absolute choclatey creamy treat! It oozed quality and premium ingredients. A true taste bud experience for people who can appreciate the "real-deal" of artisan hot chocolate and love chocolate in general. It was so good, I had to go back a second day and order the drinking chocolate, which was quite rich, but a true decadent slow sipping experience packed with silky deep flavor. The other treats looked really tempting as well! This is definitely forever on my go-to list when visiting San Francisco. I highly recommend. You can visit their website as well and sign up for a tour of their chocolate making facility. It looks like an awesome experience too!“
“If you find yourself looking for a breakfast/brunch spot, come here! My dad has been coming here for awhile and I was in town visiting him so we we went to grab some brunch. Located just a little ways from fisherman's wharf it's a quick walk to get here. Ambiance and service: We were greeted by David the owner and his son Darren and chose to sit inside. They've got some seating inside and some outside for when the weather is nice. Everything is nice and clean and you can see into the kitchen so you know the food is made fresh to order. Our order was taken quickly and food came out quickly! Food: Their menu ranges from classic American breakfast, Chinese and Vietnamese food, and sandwiches. I ordered pho and a Vietnamese coffee and my dad ordered french toast with eggs and bacon. I've had a lot of pho in different parts of the US so I'm picky about my pho and this is hands down one of the most flavorful pho broths I've ever had. Good size portion with all the regular pho fixings. My dad always orders one of two things: french toast or chicken fried steak and according to him, both are delicious but I had the pleasure of of trying the french toast this time. It was cooked to perfection and not overdone in the batter or flavors. Overall, I'm glad I got to eat here. From the service, to the food, I enjoyed every bit of it. I can't wait to bring friends here and enjoy more meals with my dad!“
“This spot is AWESOME!!! Not only is the food delicious and great portions, but the staff is totally amazing!! Everyone that works here seem genuinely happy and enjoy what they are doing. We had so much fun and laughter. Can't wait to come back. Thanks for confirming the best decision of the day.“
“It was a pleasant surprise when I found this place in Chinatown. Super cute interior and superb food! It’s a perfect place for Sunday brunch. And it was not even crowded on Sunday. The circular French toast was one of the best I’ve tasted. Will definitely come back.“
“Really cozy local café with great sandwiches, coffee, and pastries. It’s everything you could want for breakfast or lunch. Everything is made to order and sometimes there’s only one person there so it can take a bit of time but it’s totally worth it. This is the chicken club panini which is my fave.“
“We went when it opened and were seated a couple minutes after the finished setting up. Servers were friendly and on top of making sure you are enjoying your meal. We ordered the banana soufflé pancakes with scrambled eggs on the side, and the lemon cottage cheese pancakes. The food was delicious first time for both of us and the banana soufflé pancakes were above my expectations. At first we didn’t know what to expect with the lemon cottage cheese pancakes when we ordered them, but when we tried them we instantly loved them. Over all i would definitely recommend if your in the area to try Mymy’s. Hoping to bring my family next time i visit.“
“The ambiance here is totally old school San Francisco and an experience in itself. Cozy - okay a bit tavernish - but very welcoming. Drinks are far more reasonably priced than the nearby establishments and tables were full of friends (all ages) socializing or like us waiting to go on to their dinner reservation. Only food is saltines and a wedge of cheese - it's hilarious but works. In a city where so much has become the same with cool restaurants and stylish bars - it's a breath of fresh air - something I never thought I would say. We loved it and will be back.“
“Been vacationing in the Marina area for years now, and just barely discovered this place. Was here for a girl’s weekend and a friend found this place on Yelp. We came after lunch at about 1pm and it was quiet. Most had their laptops and were doing work. My friend and I were at the bar jibber jabbering.Steven was the bartender and not only was he a great mixologist, but he had really good recommendations. This is one of those kinds of places where you want to try their specialty drinks. Don’t do your usual stuff. I am picky and only like drinks served up so Steven asked me a few questions before making a recommendation. We had three drinks each, a cookie and beef jerky before leaving.Parking is easy and there’s plenty. Park, use the machine and grab your receipt. FYI, parking machine says to add your cell so they can forewarn you 15 minutes before your time ends; that DOES NOT WORK. Make sure you keep an eye on the time which we did.Awesome new spot (for me) and will be back!“
“Ordered the Shake your bahn bah sandwich which comes with a mixed salad, was well made and delicious. Bread was toasted beautifully! Also ordered the shrimp po-boy wrap, which also came with a mixed salad. Wrap was ok, should've substituted the wrap for bread as in the banh banh, would have been much tastier. The salad was great, really liked the house dressing.“
“Came here for a quick bite for my kid before camp and after the eclipse! What a hidden little gem!!! Not a place to come and sit and eat. It is a TO GO place but there is one little table with two chairs. The couple are so amazing, welcoming, and caring!!! The food is delish and ready to go in just seconds! My daughter got the half teriyaki chicken and we got two orders of gyoza. The total was $12!!!! Then because they are so sweet they gave me a small sample of their beef curry. It has a little to good kick depending on your threshold for spice but the flavor is really good and the beef is super tender!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you stop by!!!“
“The place is quiet and nice. Has seating inside and outside. The owner Lily and her mother Annie are so sweet! The coffee is amazing and their pastries are fresh. The vegan loafs are so good. We got the banana nut loaf which was super moist.Very family oriented, kid and pet friendly The chocolate chip cookie my son got was also very soft and delicious.Thank you for your hospitality and service.Nice to meet you both ❤️“
“This place is the sweetest! The atmosphere is very warm and friendly. Their menu has the most interesting match-ups. Cocoa Bomb vs Avocado Sago turned out to be a classic! The Avocado Sago is truly fabulous!!!Their Signature Fruit Tea is tasty and refreshing.“
“We had a fantastic evening and meal here. We came during happy hour and given the quality and taste of the food and champagne, the prices were relatively reasonable. We started with a flight of three caviars paired with three champagnes. They ranged from delicious to amazing. We then moved on to our small plates entree where our favorite dishes were a savory caviar bread pudding (not dense nor heavy) and an order of caviar deviled eggs. Would highly recommend both! We would definitely go back!“
“They were out of cragels around 11am on a Sunday. We got the bagel sando with sausage, egg, and cheese, and a tuna salad sandwich, as well as an iced mocha. The sandwiches were tasty and filling, made fresh with quality ingredients, and a nice light crunch on that asiago bagel. And that iced mocha was one of the best I've had, sweet and creamy, I'm craving it now! The service was standard, and seating was limited both inside and outside the cafe, but we were able to find an outdoor table with seats, as people came and went fairly quickly, just as we did. I'd return to try the cragels.“
“If you want more than just a cappuccino or caffe latte at Starbucks, then come visit the 1st Italian coffeehouse west of the Rockies! Been coming here for 50 yrs and I been drinking their fresh brewed lattes or cafe au laits ever since. It's one of the best places to meet poets, writers, musicians, film makers & artists both famous or soon to be, in North Beach!“
“This is a good lunch spot for FiDi. Sandwiches are $12.50-$14. Salads are $10-$11. Prices on their website are outdated. My sandwich , the LLB special $12.50 was roast beef, turkey, ham, swiss, provolone on dutch crunch, was alright. The New England Clam Chowder $8.50 was chunky and not filled all the way up. That tasted OK as well. Friendly service for a counter style restaurant. Kitchen was fast taking account they were busy. I was pretty full afterwards.“
“Fun, great food, European type of service, and a really fun atmosphere. Love the French Onion soup on a cold night. Only complaint, their baguette is quite expensive, though absolutely delicious and served with really great butter. Wine is priced in line with most restaurants in Marin, so not ordering a lot of wine during our visits.Would highly recommend Amélie.“
“The location of this organic cafe cannot be matched! They have a wonderful outside garden & beautiful, sunlit seating areas inside next to large windows with gorgeous views.I live next door to this cafe, so I've tried most items on the menu. The one ingredient that is important to Latin Cuisine which I wish they would make available are fresh lemon slices as their food has salt, lots of spices but no lemon available - ever. Authentic cornmeal tacos and basic rice & beans as a menu staple 'side' option would also be a good addition to their menu as their menu focuses on Mexican food, minus some foundational necessities like lemon, corn tacos and several other ingredients. When I visit this cafe, I always have to bring lemon slices from home. They often run out of ingredients early in the morning - so if you want breakfast, better to get there a couple hours before 11am.Wonderful gem in the Presidio & prices are great compared to the over-priced, insane prices at the new 'El Parco' and 'Colibri' restaurants.“
“Great variety of breakfast. They serve big portions, so sharing is a good option. The service was good however there were some language barriers. We sat outside, and the staff made it as comfortable as possible, however, the street and near construction sites made it a bit louder.“
“This is such a neighborhood gem! It’s family-owned and I had the pleasure of meeting the mother and daughter. For food, they had many good breakfast options! We ended up getting the Kimchi toast along with some juices on one side, and the. A pizza bagel with extra cheese and salami from the other side. The staff are very friendly and I love the outdoor tables and chairs outside. It was so nice to eat out in the sidewalk on a sunny day. Definitely need to go back!“
“Was excited to finally visit this new cafe nestled in the historic charm of our weekend Jackson Square walk. We found their inviting interior an ideal setting for a relaxed coffee break and casual meal with our group. And speaking of coffee, their freshly brewed roasts, roasted on-site in a huge visible roaster, were beyomd perfect. And t's not just about the coffee as the menu featured a variety of homemade and fresh baked treats, from hot scones to sandwiches and salads, all prepared in their open kitchen. The smoothies, we were told have gained popularity and made waves on social media. We tried Maca Cloud and its imopressive with a long list of execpetional ingredinets. The charming floral displays at the entrance were a crowd pleaser and it was great to see a mix locals, tourits and even a huge group from SF Fire Dept enjoying the space. Give it a try; I suspect you won't be disappointed.“
“We walked on over to this cute little place and from the outside signage you would never assume food is sold here, at least we didn't. We had one chicken and one meatball sandwich and they were both delicious. My favorite from the two was the grilled chicken, so yummy. It was hot, crispy, juicy, and flavorful. Service was great and fast. We sat outside and had a nice view of Washington Square park and the Cathedral.“
“I started my morning near Fort Mason looking for breakfast and finding a coffee shop open early, only to see a VERY long line. I Googled around for nearby options and found this wonderful little café!Super small space, just one sweet lady seemingly in charge of the whole process, making every order fresh. Very affordable, a bit of a secret it seems given that it wasn't busy. Absolutely DELICOUSL breakfast sandwich, you can't beat a fresh made sandwich made with love like that.“
“Just got a half Caesar with chicken, the creamy pesto pasta salad and A bag of chips for $10.50. I had my almost 3yr old with me and they gave us extra treats for him and said "the kids our future" they seriously made my day can't wait to go back again soon because it was a great experience and delicious food!“
“Excellent sandwich and very friendly service. We were walking by and thought a sandwich sounded good. Clive was friendly, and made 2 amazing sandos for us! Also saw "pincic" menus available, great addition to downtown San Anselmo!“
“my friend and i went here for the last breakfast on our vacation and we seriously loved it! my friend even said "if i lived here i'd eat here all the time." the food was fresh and well made, and the spicy mayo was just a kiss of spice, not hot at all, and very creamy. their coffee was expertly made, as i'm sitting here writing this my friend just said "that was a really good coffee i'm still thinking about it" the server was also very sweet and friendly! the shop is a little hard to find because they don't have "enter the cafe" branding, so it's best to just go by the address. but it's a cute little corner cafe, well decorated and clean but very small so exercise caution if you're a larger group. if you're visiting sanfran i highly recommend this place esp if you need a quick breakfast or drink between excursions!“
“This is one of those classic North Beach cafes that has tons of seating, good coffee and sweets. Like to come here and read. That's pretty bustling but I use headphones and it works for me. They have outdoor seeding as well in the parklet. And a little spill over space too. Staff are really nice. Just be prepared because you will have to pay with cash only here.“
“Had to drop a Pinnedhaggler Poppinhock off at Glare Attaway's Speedo testing center so his lead pressuretester Anaconda John can iron out some wrinkles in their new product line, before they flood the market up in Guerneville. I drove right past the Redwood Cafe on my way there and planned on eating there when I was finished, so here I am.The grilled ham and cheese sandwich was Spectacular! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆“
“How is this place not a 4.9 or higher? Soft piano jazz and big window seats under a draped flower awning, the barista bringing patrons their orders to their tables even when the place is packed, and oh by the way, great coffee! A very San Francisco chain of solid spots to chill and enjoy from the outer richmond to here on Polk St. Just part of an overall great Saturday.“
“Got 2 açai bowls, they were tasty and cute; the service was quick and the café as well, but it is located in a place that’s not very interesting on its own, it’s just very close to a mall and walking for ~10 min you get to the ferry building and that’s nice, so it’s either way close to some interesting locations. We payed pretty much money, $30+ for two açaís and a water, I think that’s a little too much but ok. Thank youu byee“
“Back in 2004, I was working at 333 Bush St. and this was our favorite salad lunch place. Now I'm on Battery St. and was happy to that this Cafe Venue location was still open. Too bad their Leidesdorff alley location is now closed. The salad chefs there were better and closer to me on Battery St. Today I had their breakfast burrito with sausage, + avocado & sour cream $1.50 = $10.95. O! such good memories! Tomorrow I'll come back for lunch and get my old favorites, the chop chop salad or the spinach one. Service was excellent was for a counter style restaurant.“
“Best beer/wine happy hour in town with delicious pastries to boot! This is a sweet spot on the corner that's an easy meeting spot for locals and visitors alike. A great place to people watch right in North Beach, they have great deals on draft beers and house wine. Plus, you can get a little slice of cake to accompany it. I must admit that I prefer this spot as a treat after work over their bagels and coffee in the morning. That said, they're kind and quick and hard to pass up for a quick stop!“
“The Bayside Cafe in Sausalito has so many delicious meals to choose from. So fresh and look at the beautiful presentation! Every time I dine here, the food is top quality as is the service and staff. Another thing I love about this place is how meticulous they are, the place always looks great, they do a great job to keep it clean and well maintained. Thank you Bayside, can't wait for my next visit!“
“Nice sign on the street stopped us cold for an açaí bowl. My daughter ordered a regular açaí bowl from a friendly woman at the counter. Well-lit, clean, with a few indoor and outdoor seating. The strawberries on their bowl were juicy and sweet. The honey on top made it all especially tasty! The açaí itself is a bit runny, but we enjoyed and finished with smiles nevertheless!“
“Staying in Chinatown, it was harder to find a vegetarian breakfast/brunch nearby than I expected. K Five Fifty is an unassuming counter in the expansive lobby of 550 Kearny. Turns out it's a full kitchen with a chef cooking to order, although some items are packaged for grab and go. The menu is brief but flexible. I had the avocado toast. It includes poached eggs, but he was happy to scramble them for me. I'm guessing you can make this vegan by swapping the eggs for one of the sides. Friendly proprietor, great service, and excellent value. All the ingredients were fresh and the toast was an excellent crispy whole grain sour dough that held up to the thick avocado. As far as ambiance, I was content to chill out and read to the sound of the chef chopping his mis en place and the muted lobby muzak.“
“This is not a fancy Chinatown tourist trap. It's a humble Chinese diner with excellent food and good portions. Two people might share a rice plate with some side dumplings. I had the beef with mixed vegetables plate. Came with a small soup and a piping hot dumpling. Everything was super fresh and came straight from wok to table in seconds. Looks like old school family run place. For what one gets it's a bargain in this day and age.I saw many locals who kibbitzed in Mandarin with the staff. How do you say kibbitzed in Mandarin?? They almost to a person ordered a pork dish, apparently a specialty, that looked terrific on the plate. That'll be my next meal here...Under 15 bucks with 2 cups of tea out the door. It's right off the alley where Red's Place is...“
“Had the bbq sub and what I can say is that was the best sandwich I have had in a long time. Service was excellent and the whole place was extremely clean. I really recommend coming here because all I can say is that I will definitely be coming back here.“
“A small and cozy place to have breakfast or brunch. The food is filling, but light. The biscuits in the biscuits and gravy were light and not dense. The mushroom soup was delicious. The French toast was nice and custard like in the center. Love the coffee with refills. The service was friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back for more.“
