“Ordered a lemon poppyseed cake and iced latte. The latte was very smooth and perfect. While the texture of the cake was good with the poppyseeds adding great crunch, the lemon flavor of it was missing. Could have added more lemon zest and juice to it. As for the icing, it’s sugar icing. So there is nothing to complain about.“

“This is definitely an insiders’ spot in San Francisco. It’s usually pretty busy from the street view so I decided to try it on a Friday and it was still busy. I don’t want to talk the place up. There’s no need for that at a five star restaurant. The proprietors of the establishment have their photo up with the Mayor. Word on the street is that this place is like a religion. The food was good. Changed my mind about a few things. Made me ask, what is food in San Francisco today? Would I go there again? Yeah maybe if I had 30 minutes on a Friday, but no and not because the experience was terrible, but because they had already mastered the art of business in San Francisco if not the world.“

“Nice cafe with a good selection of drinks and food right off the main thoroughfare. Upon walk in you are able to see a menu showcasing all of their drinks and food. They have acai bowls, a huge assortment of pastries, crepes, etc. everything has Brazilian flair which was cool. We ordered acai bowls which are big for their size and jam packed full of fresh fruit. Honestly, one of the best acai bowls I’ve had, presentation wise and taste wise. The coffees were also good, but nothing spectacular. The light pastry we ordered was very good and fluffy. You can see the assortment of pastries as you go through the check out, as it’s a bit like a school lunch line. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a trendy but quiet spot to have a good meal and a cup of coffee.“

“Both the salmon breakfast sandwich and the veggie sandwich are amazing! The bread is well done and salmon &eggs are fresh in the sandwich. They have a water dispenser there and a relatively clean restroom. Good atmosphere with the plants and seats by the window. Loved it!“

“High quality matcha and delicious sandwiches!
We came on a trip visiting SF and stopped by for lunch. We got the strawberry cream matcha and the pistachio cream. By far the strongest matcha latte I’ve had but in the best way— you can tell they use high quality matcha.
For sandwiches we got the Tonkatsu with Pineapple and Fish Katsu with Shiso. The sandwiches were hot, flavorful and incredibly filling. We also got the crab and salmon onigiri, and would recommend the crab one.
The atmosphere feels like a cute study spot for students or to catch up with friends. Service was good as well.“

“Picked up a too good to go box for lunch and it was great! Walking in I was immediately heartened to see the sweetest man manning the counter offering folks to try things and explaining the food options which all smellt incredible. The other staff who was equally as kind and welcoming grabbed my box. It was packed full of mac and cheese, sausage, beans and some cooked cabbage. All very delicious too! There was a chimmichuri type sauce on the sausage that was INCREDIBLE. I will definitely be back tgtg or not. What a sweet little gem!“

“100000000/10!! Everything was impeccable, an all around incredible experience. As a cafe owner myself truthfully I judge harshly but i left Cavalli feeling like I really need to step it up. The customer service was absolutely incredible, the pastries unlike anything I’ve tasted before ( I serve tiramisu myself and honestly there’s was just on a whole other level!!) and the coffee…. My god!! I had the pistachio latte and to me this is the biggest test, you either do it perfectly with authentic pistachio or it’s horrible and this was clearly the real deal. The pistachio latte was so good I went back to grab the nos nos coffee because it looked so interesting, the owner described it as an upside cappuccino so I couldn’t resist. It did not disappoint!!!! This place is a must try, you won’t regret it!“

This place doesn’t look like much from the outside – just a small corner shop. But the food hits way above its weight class.

Got their egg sandwich on a croissant with added ham. Ready in minutes, which was clutch. The croissant was fresh and flaky, the egg and melted cheese were spot-on, but the real standout was their mixed vegetable spread. Whatever they put in there turned a solid breakfast sandwich into something actually memorable.

“This is a charming cafe with a sweet outdoor patio! What a hidden gem! The baked goods are amazing and homemade by Armida! They do homemade sandwiches to order, have savory and sweet baked goods! Try the bacon/egg/maple syrup bun or the veggie pocket! There is ample indoor space to sit and sip. There are also books and puzzles for bringing your child, and with the outdoor space, an ideal child friendly cafe for a bite to eat.

“I go to Yu's Cafe weekly with my coworkers. The owner, Kelly, and her mother are both nice, welcoming, and the drinks that they prepare and serve are absolutely delicious. They have a good selection of food and Cantonese desserts, on top of the drinks that they make with fresh fruit and flavorful teas. They offer alternative milk options as well for those who are lactose intolerant. They also have a great selection of toppings. We love this place and continue to visit weekly!“
