“Whenever we're in the area in the mornings, I always go to Buvette due Marais for their delicious and wonderfully buttery pastries. I feel comfortable going alone or with friends. This was the first time we've gone for dinner, and we were not disappointed. It was an unusually warm night, and we enjoyed sitting outside on the patio. We both had the buckwheat crepes with ham and gruyere - delicious. Excellent food, relaxing and French ambiance, and prompt, friendly service. “Nice cafe with a good selection of drinks and food right off the main thoroughfare. Upon walk in you are able to see a menu showcasing all of their drinks and food. They have acai bowls, a huge assortment of pastries, crepes, etc. everything has Brazilian flair which was cool. We ordered acai bowls which are big for their size and jam packed full of fresh fruit. Honestly, one of the best acai bowls I’ve had, presentation wise and taste wise. The coffees were also good, but nothing spectacular. The light pastry we ordered was very good and fluffy. You can see the assortment of pastries as you go through the check out, as it’s a bit like a school lunch line. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a trendy but quiet spot to have a good meal and a cup of coffee.“

“The first time I came here I ordered the special pandan coffee and it was a little watery and I could taste the coffee, and the pandan was overpowering but I tried it again this week and I really enjoyed it. I felt like the coffee was really aromatic and I could taste the pandan as well.

“I love this place! One of my favorite spots in the city to meet up with friends or get some work done. The atmosphere is beautiful…bright, airy, and filled with natural sunlight.
The strawberry matcha is hands down one of the best in the city!!! I also love their Eggs Benedict. The whole place somehow makes me feel like I’ve been transported to Turkey or somewhere in Europe. ☕✨

“Stopped here on the way from SF to Napa and it was the perfect coffee shop pit stop. They offer a great variety of coffee and tea options, many with a distinct Thai influence. The authentic Thai coffees and teas are especially noteworthy, with beans sourced from Thailand and roasted in-house. In addition to drinks, they also have smoothies, boba, and some food options. The thoughtful Thai decor throughout the space is beautiful and adds a unique charm, and the service was excellent. We ordered the Thai iced coffee and green tea—both were fantastic—but we’ll definitely be stopping again on our next road trip to try their boba.“

“While walking in San Francisco on our most recent trip, I found this little chocolate place on Google maps and we purposely made sure to stop by. The place was XOX Truffles and it made our day! Not only did we get some truffles but we also got some delicious hot cocoa. The owner, Jean-Marc, was so personable and helpful. The truffles are so delicious and what a variety! Amaretto, Orange, Raspberry, Cognac, and Dark Chocolate to name a few. We will be back! You've got to try this place!“

“Came on a gorgeous Thursday on June 11th for brunch.... One of those rare summer days in the Marina where it actually felt like a real summer day. The sun was out, close to 80 degrees, shorts and t-shirt weather. The food was actually surprisingly good... Breakfast burrito hit the mark, eggs were fresh and fluffy, the tortilla was toasted just right, and the avocado toast was just as perfect.... The ice coffee was decent, but not anything spectacular.... Biggest plus on a day like this was the smal outdoor seating area, most probably left behind as a welcome relic of the COVID era. Definitely worth checking out... Parking might be the only drawback, but you'll find one sooner or later“
