Appeared to have an extensive food menu, vegetarian options; I didn't look for vegan options. Easy to find off 101 and return to the freeway. Nice alternative to a chain location.“
“Fast service. I was in the area for an early morning appointment and stopped in here for coffee and a bagel. I ordered the BLT bagel with no tomaties. It was satisfying and delicious. Their menu had plenty to offer. The service was great. They had heavy traffic which is a good sign in my opinion.“
“This place has some of the best gluten free treats in the Bay Area! I drive from the next county over just to go here, that's saying a lot! I have been coming here for a little over 5 years and it never disappoints. I love their rapture, carrot muffin, pumpkin and chocolate. I saw they now offer layered cakes which makes me so happy, definitely going to remember that! Their ginger cookies are so good as well!! I have tried a Turkey sando there years ago and it wasn't bad. I have never tried their bread items. Great service and they have remained consistent which is actually really special. “THIS IS SPECIFICALLY FOR THE DRIVE-UP IN DOWNTOWN NOVATO. I go here every morning before work. It's great. The baristas are super nice and very friendly. Coffee is very, very good. I honestly think I like the seasonal flavors at Marin Coffeen Roasters more than Starbucks'. The toasted marshmallow lattee is to die for. Its not candy coffee like Starbucks. Marin Roasters strikes a perfect balance between flavor and coffee, so youre still tasting coffee as well as flavoring. Pastries are also surprisingly good. Coffee is the same price as Starbucks.As far as "atmosphere", I go to the South Novato Blvd location which is a drive-up so there isnt really much atmosphere to be had to begin with which is why my atmosphere rating is 3 stars, but its still pretty cute. Do NOT take the 3 stars for atmosphere as a negative, its literally just because this specific location is a drive up building. The coffee place before them was also a drive up. The building they happen to occupy is specifically designed for drive up coffee. Also, they take walk-up orders and have dog treats. I don't know why they wouldn't do walk-up, but its still worth mentioning cause you can grab a coffee and a treat for your dog if you're on a walk.The Ignacio and San Anselmo location however ARE sit down cafes, but I've never been there. Judging by pictures, they look very nice and are the place you want to go to if you want to sit down and aren't just picking up coffee and a pastry to goTLDR the coffee is fantastic, I like it more than Starbucks, and the people are great. Go there. Support local and enjoy some of the best coffee in town.“
“I've recently started working in San Rafael and coworkers would bring lunch or office treats from this market. Everything has been high-quality, unique, flavorful and made me want to take a special trip to Nugget. I got my chance one no-traffic-on-the-commute morning with an extra 20 minutes to spare. I walked in and immediately knew that was not nearly enough time. Visually stunning, organized , clean and enticing! I barely knew where I wanted to start. I scanned the ample deli, hot breakfast bar, tempting bakery, found a couple items, picked up some stunning recipe cards, and made mental notes for when I return. (For those in my area, it felt like Oliver's.) And as if the store was showing off, every employee I encountered was friendly and helpful. For me, this kind of place is specialty shopping, and the prices reflect it. I look forward to returning with way more time!“
“Hidden gem! Everything is delicious and the space is lovely. Open, airy, welcoming (they even offer a tray of tiny hearts!), easy parking, and right next to the trail head for the lovely Hamilton portion of the SF Bay Trail. A fabulous spot for grab and go, dine in, or take out. I've been back two days in a row and very happy with my orders. Today's vegan Caesar salad + lemon mascarpone cheesecake were divine! Another nice thing is that if you fall in love with the food, you can also hire them for catering!“
