“I was visiting a friend in California when she took me to this coffee shop. It's a very small tiny little Hut that has a billion people working in it. But they operate at extremely fast pace and all appear to be very pleasant and willing to assist. You take the drive through to order and then pull up to a window for pickup. There's not much parking but it really is meant to be a drive-thru type of establishment. I had never been to this place before not here in California or anywhere else. So for my first time I have to be very honest, it was the absolute very best coffee I had ever had! I would absolutely recommend for a visit!“
“This is a very cute little donut shop. There are no places to sit inside, but there is space outside to hangout. There is a display outside that shows a few kind of the donuts which is so enticing. There was not a long wait and when you step inside there is a much longer menu on the wall, which gave me no time to contemplate on what I wanted. Eventually we got the raspberry sauce donuts. My toddler is into sprinkles and but I don't like sprinkles so we ended up getting her a bigger one donut. It was a gluten free donut and was $4. The dozen mini donuts were $8 and seemed like a much better deal and was so fun to eat. After you order, you can see the little mini donuts being friend behind the clear plexiglass. It was so fun for my toddler to watch. We also ordered a rose latte and a lavender latte. The donuts were so good!!! They were not like cake donuts or raised donuts, but they were light and flavorful. The lattes were bitter, which went well with the donuts. We forgot that lattes had coffee (not coffee drinkers), and I just thought they were flavored milks (too use to boba places), so two cups of lattes was too much coffee for us. Overall, this place was enjoyable and a nice find!“
“Food was delicious, each entree was fairly big and felt shareable too. The lady taking your order was in a horrible mood and didn’t care if she shared it to others. Parking was a little confusing and seating it very limited. Pastries were very good too. We got the idea to come here because of sunflower cafe carrying their pastries.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bread was very good.“
“Always a 5-star experience at Layla - from checking in with the host staff, to the lovely dining room space, to the great friendly service and the outstanding food. We love Layla and try to come in at least once a week if not more: we always aim to support local and their hospitality is matchless in Sonoma! Highly recommended - we, particularly, like breakfast/brunch!“
“This place is fantastic. Upon entering you are greeted with smiles and the aroma of the food is out of this world. Everything on the menu is delicious and I am speaking from experience. The outdoor patio is beautiful and the ambiance is just perfect. You can grab a coffee to go but I highly recommend staying for the food and the experience.“
“Best Ice Cream in Sonoma Valley, with unique flavors to try. Superb mochas too. Great, friendly service, and owned by a local family. Highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: Easy to get to with a parking area off the main road and a safe little outdoor eating plaza.Wheelchair accessibility: No ramps and flat grade from wheelchair parking to the shop interior.“
“I recently celebrated my birthday with a cake from Scandia Bakery in Sonoma, and it was a delightful experience! My wife surprised me with their red velvet with chocolate cake, and it was absolutely scrumptious. The cake was moist, the frosting was decadent, and every bite was pure bliss. If you're in Sonoma and craving a delicious treat, I highly recommend stopping by Scandia Bakery. You won't be disappointed!“
“Stopped in based on yelp reviews looking something different for lunch and the name of the restaurant sounded interesting. Walking in you are greeted by super friendly staff, bright and full of light kitchen and dinning room with some but not lots of seating. I ordered the Napa Turkey sandwich with fruit. The Napa Turkey sandwich came with turkey, cheddar cheese, avocado, spinach, tomato, with house aioli on a ciabatta roll. The sandwich comes together in the panini press. All of the ingredients were super fresh and crisp. The protein, to produce, to bread ratio was perfect and the house aioli was a nice touch. The hand cut fresh pineapple, strawberries, and green apple, was a nice palate cleanser and wasn't overly sweet. I'd rather have really good simple food and El Huerto really makes simple food shine. I'd go back if I was ever in the area again.“
“I recently started coming to this coffee shop because I commute about 2hours to work every morning. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. The food is doughnuts, pastry's and breakfast burritos. I love my glazed twist doughnuts! Also, you can never go wrong with a iced chai tea latte. Their coffees are a bit on the sweeter side, so I add two shots of espresso into it and it's perfect! This place does not disappoint. The ambiance is wonderful, decorated with rustic motor bikes and rustic architecture. 5/5 stars I highly suggest visiting if you're in the Sonoma area.“
“Was in Sonoma for the weekend and my favorite dining experience was here! The portions and quality of the food are exceptional. The folks running the spot clearly have a lot of pride for what they do and really set my day off to a good start. I had the breakfast burrito and was overwhelmed by the amount -- but it was delicious. The jelly donut is amazing too. This is a must-do next time I come to Sonoma.“
“I’ve never been able to justify eating a cookie a day but that’s exactly what I did during my time in Sonoma. These chocolate chip cookies are quite literally the best find of the year. Go early and buy as many as you can without being selfish.“
“Love the Peet’s brand and this location is exceptional. Roomy, yet cozy layout which does not feel packed even when it’s very busy. The staff is super kind and hard working. Very accommodating and quick. Easy to find parking and nice music playing inside.“
“I want to love this place but the service was a turn-off for me. A long-awaited juice bar in Sonoma really excited me! I stopped while a new employee was being trained. I was the only customer. The trainer was knowledgeable about the different juices and gave a great recommendation. He suggested coconut milk. They were out. Then oat milk. No oat milk. We settled on almond milk. Then he had to go someplace else to get ice while I waited. The juice was good but I was there for about 20 minutes. I know this is "slow-noma" but that was too much. The juice was delicious, the place was cute and clean but they need to get things prepped before opening. This was after 10am, btw. I gave an extra star because I don't want people to think it's not a good stop. It is! Just step up the service and you'll be amazing!“
“I've been visiting this location for too many years to count as it's located down the street from my house. While there have been a few times where they did not deliver, honestly, they hit in stride more often than not. I am not too difficult of a customer when it comes to my complexity of an order (Black drip coffee), but they always leave enough room for additional cream and sugar and brew the coffee well. Staff are quick and to the point which is nice when you need to get in and out in most cases. Always happy to revisit.“
“To quote Homer Simpson, "Nom Nom Nom"... Big raised donuts with a large variety of flavors. You can order online to make sure you get the goods. However, they had a lot of inventory (sweet and savory). As a self proclaimed donut eating expert, I can't wait to return. They do have two small tables so you can't get your eat on if you are impatient. :)“
“Great Sandwiches!!! I went in with no expectations, after all it’s a roadside deli next to a gas station. You fill out your own order form from a table near the door and hand it off at the counter, then wander back through a convenience store area to choose a drink, chips, or candy, which takes you to another counter where you pay. Very casual.I was able to buy a small bottle of local sparkling wine, I know it was lunchtime, but we were in Napa so I felt it a moral imperative. The sandwiches were fresh and stuffed to capacity. The gluten free bread was soft and fresh tasting. (Not dry like gf often is) The accoutrements, like avocados, lettuce, and tomato were cool and fresh. We were both pleasantly surprised.“
“Cup of Love - is absolutely 100% correct. I visit Sonoma occasionally for work, and I usually stay at the Best Western next door.I've been meaning to visit her for about a year, and I finally stopped to grab a cup of coffee on a very cold December day. I'm so glad I did! Both owner/operators were there and were super warm and friendly. I ordered one of their holiday specials, Gingerbread chai, and I made it dirty ;)So good!! So perfect for a holiday weekend. Thank you so much!!!“
