“The once a month dinners are gourmet which is why it is a good value. The menu is always different and creative. We had quail eggs in a yummy tomato base, lobster bisque, sea bass, eggplant and lamb moussaka. Then dessert and coffee. It is a fixed menu for one price. Fancy schmancy restaurants would charge twice as much. $125/person which includes tax and tip is well worth it. Even my picky husband enjoyed the 4 courses plus dessert. My only complaint is that corkage is $30/bottle and we like to take our own wine. We took two bottles for four people, so doing the math it increases the overall price of the dinner somewhat. But we enjoyed the patio dining on a nice warm evening! The chef is great and I enjoy dropping by weekdays before 4:00 for pastries and lunches.“

I ordered three street tacos—chorizo, chicken, and steak—and that steak taco? Buddy… it tasted like someone grilled the most excellent steak known to mankind, whispered words of encouragement to it, motivated it to reach its full potential, then sliced it into bite-size greatness. The salsa inside? So good I considered taking it home and introducing it to my family. My son ordered the happy hour cheese quesadilla, which came out perfectly toasted—crispy golden edges, soft cheesy center. Basically a work of art Picasso wishes he painted. Then we shared the habanero wings, which came with a medley of tomatoes and sliced cucumbers so fancy it felt like they were auditioning for a cooking show. The dressing? Absolutely delicious. I briefly thought about drinking it like a tiny salad smoothie. I didn’t… but I thought about it. In conclusion: If you’re not eating at The Hole in the Wall, are you even living? 🌮🔥🍗“

I got a cappuccino and wife got an iced latte. Both were really good.
Went back to see if they sell coffee beans. Was asking the barista about one particular variety and he offered me a shot of espresso for the coffee I was interested in. I ended up buying the bag.

I was especially grateful for their pain au raisin. My one qualm (and this may be controversial because the bakery is near SF) is that the baguettes are sourdough and not authentically French.“

“I got married in Santa Rosa last night and we had Central Coffee listed on our wedding website as a space informally meet up, grab drinks, and say goodbye. About 40 or so guests from our event came and we were met with quick service, friendly staff, and enough space for everyone to sit comfortably. The coffee and food was delicious! The people were kind! The prices were low! I could not recommend this place enough! A perfect way to end a perfect weekend ♥“

“This is one of the best Starbucks I've patronized. The manager has obviously trained her staff in every aspect of customer service. One employee in particular, Angie, is outstanding. There have been several occasions in which I have entered, I am immediately greeted by name and my order is ready to go within a couple of minutes. Angie knows exactly what I'm having. We got the breakfast burrito with salsa on the side, a fig bar and coffee. The coffees were good, very good. But we were highly disappointed with the salsa for the burrito. It was basically hot sauce for us; it tasted good, just too spicy. Apparently that’s the only thing they cater as they don’t make it in house. We were handed some tapatio (“it’s less spicy” they said). What if we just aren’t people who eat spicy food? It kinda lost its charm learning they don’t make salsa nor the fig bar in house. I wonder if the burrito was made in house. Needless to say, it was hard to fully enjoy our meal. Burrito alone lacked flavor. The fig bar was okay, I liked that it wasn’t too sweet. Would be back for coffee, but for food, I’d rather go somewhere else.“

“This is a great place to get croissants and many more. I have bought so many croissants from this location and it is by far the best croissants I have eaten so far in my life. I don't know why people have lef less than 5 star reviews. The guys who attend this place are very friendly and always have a big smile. They are always very friendly, always. I definitely recommend this place. I have been buying from this place for more than 2 years now. Something I really like about the croissants from this location is that they are very crunchy. The croissants from other locations are somewhat soft and it's not my preferred way of eating croissants.“

“I used to work two doors down when this was a different coffee place and I wish I still worked there so I could pop in here daily. I’ve tried a few of their drinks, where all were good, but for me, the cold brew is what does it. I’ve tried close to every cold brew available at coffee shops between Santa Rosa and Cloverdale, and theirs is hands down the best. Smooth, not at all bitter, and strong. I don’t know the ins and outs of what causes a cold brew to be good or bad, I just know what I like. My only hope is that they'll someday move into a bigger spot so it’s easier to sit and do some work or meet people for coffee more easily. Not their fault that it’s a tiny space. The previous coffee place blamed the location a lot on their lack of business, but it’s shown through the new place that the quality brings people in.“

I have to be really careful with added sugars and Devine Mother Tea and Coffee makes the best Sugar Free Vanilla latte around. For your next cup go find the little Divine Mother Tea and Coffee booth!“

“As a professional barista, I have a higher standard for coffee than most and will refuse to drink from most commercial roasters. Acre coffee is one of the best experiences I've had in a coffee shop yet. Legitimately good coffee, friendly faces, great atmosphere and an eagerness to bring you back in. 9/10. When coffee is this good, a long line can bring a wait time but the coffee, food and pastries are still well worth it“
