“i see you all responded nicely to my last review. i want you to know i appreciate my fans. this starbucks continues to surprise me. i'm pretty sure my vanilla bean frap was poisoned but i still loved it. as you all said in the group chat "dylan d knows where its at"“
“I love a good loose leaf tea on a rainy day. The RR Tea company offering a huge selection of hand crafted teas. It's the only place in the area I'll buy my tea. The owner is sweet and crafts all teas herself. They also offer tea bags, accessories, chocolates, clothing, candles, etc... the shop is adorable!I'm a local but it's a must stop for out of towners! Cheers!“
“Quail & Condor baked goods are outrageously delicious ?? That Danish rye bread is scandalous! It's way too good... With cream friche, lox or smoked Salmon from Santa Rosa Seafood. LORD! Let's hope it's not "outlawed"!“
“Absolutely love this coffee shop! It is one of my top favorites in Sonoma County. Not to mention the vibe & cool decor they have inside the shop. They also sell their own merchandise, which is so neat. Their is also plenty of sitting inside, and wifi available to get work done. Currently they have a Crème Brûlée latte, which is crafted to perfection. It's creamy, sweet & just balanced perfectly. The top of the latte is toasted, which creates a crunchy sugar top. And service here is fast & friendly. Not once have I waited longer than 3 minuets for a drink. Definitely recommend this shop, to meet up with friends, get work done, or simply enjoy or cup of joe in the morning.“
“I had the Herbal Mocha (brewed with roasted roots with reishi and maca added) and it was delightful. It was a rich and earthy bouquet without being bitter like some similar drinks can be. My barista (who I think was Emilou!) was very kind, and gave me some guidance on where in town I should check it because I haven't been in Sebastopol since 2007 and it's changed a LOT since then. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying their tea selection.Dietary restrictions: Good variety of milk alternatives“
“A darling cafe with excellent food and wonderful customer service in a delightful atmosphere. It was charming and delicious!!Kid-friendliness: A friendly place for ALL!!Wheelchair accessibility: Very nice to see the accessibility is honored and respected!! Our daughter thanks you!!“
“Took my partner for a nice date and came across this place by chance! The staff was so nice and knowledgeable, very attentive with tea times and descriptions! Had great vegan options. Can't wait to come back! This place is amazing! The matcha is perfect too, with nondairy options [coconut, oat] and for the boba as well.Beautiful place. We'll be back!Pros: Atmosphere, Service, FoodCons: Smaller food portion [could have used a bit more noodles for the price!]Vegetarian options: Great options for both vegans and veggies.“
“The breakfast burrito was amazing. Incredibly hot off the griddle and tasted both fresh, and like my mother made for me. It reminded me of being back home, both the cooking, and the atmosphere. Filling, friendly, and a local business. I enjoy all three and Ana’s Cafe offers it all!“
“Went there this morning with my girlfriend and I was very happily surprised! I wasn't sure about the place at first since there was a long line but it moved very fast. I ordered a cake doughnut with chocolate frosting and it was delicious, normally cake doughnuts are dry and almost hard to eat without water but this one was wonderfully moist and sweet. They had some drink coolers inside and some savory breakfast options as well. Definitely worth the wait!“
“The space previously occupied by Flying Goat Coffee is now taken over by Black Oak. The food offering is better, with several gluten free options. The espresso oat drinks have good micro-foam. We had an enjoyable stop over after lunch at Little Saint.“
“The menu looked intriguing and on our way back from Sonoma, we stopped by. The ambience is so relaxing, open, and welcoming. The hosts were just amazingly cool. Food was a good blend of taste and healthiness. All locally grown and advocates of sustainability. A must visit.“
“As a former restaurateur and cafe owner I really enjoy your cafe. Service is always great, love the staff. Coffee is done well. Bagels are nice. Pastries are ok ...most cafe pastries are dry and ... Ambience is nice considering the space is a challenge. I normally would not give 5 stars, but Santa Rosans seem to give mediocre establishments 4-5 stars so I thought I'd give an extra star here. The bar in Santa Rosa is a bit lower than the Bay Area. One suggestion I have would be is to install a large mirror on the back wall that faces out to the street. Large !! At least 5 x 6 or more.. they can be found. While it may expose behind your counters a little, the lighting and perception of not windows will do wonders.“
“Edit 3/9/24I am back again. We had another wonderful meal. I had the biscuits and sausage gravy and my friend had eggs Benedict with loxs. Once again everything was perfect. This was my first time here. I had heard good things and really lived up! We had the braised short rib hash and the crab bennidict. Both were amazing. I will be going back!“
“Their vegan burrito was exactly what I was craving. Glad they have something vegan to eat. The person we ordered from couldn't tell us if anything else on the menu could be vegan but they were up front about that and I appreciate their honesty. They had hot tea that I liked. Free water in reusable cups. Only rating the food low because I'd love more vegan options. My partner liked what they ordered.“
“Delicious matcha latte, great coffee, alt milks available, gluten free options for the pastries and for the excellent avocado toast. Plenty of regular treats, too, for those who can eat wheat.Vegetarian options: Most pastries are vegetarian. Vegan avocado toast and alt milks available.Dietary restrictions: GF choices in pastries as well as bread for toasts.“
“Love the vibe here. This is my first time back in Sebastopol in 17 years, and the hodgepodge art vibe reminds me of old Sebastopol much more than downtown. Good to see the humble old spirit of the city still lives in a few places around town. They have a wide and eclectic variety of teas (including loose leaf). They also have display cases of various raw crystals (not the polished ones like in most stores downtown), all of which are for sale. My soy latte was great too“
“I used to live in SR and would always go to my usual coffee house in this spot. Much to my surprise it was long gone and this special java place fell into it's place. Not sad at all. Eclectic vibe full of amazing and artfully collected relics and vintage artifacts that take you back to a time long past but with a modern and magical flare. Now for the coffee and treats. The coffee is divine. Crafted with care and love to your exact morning or afternoon needs. I usually get a latte with a hint of lavender. The pastries are not to be missed. The baristas and owners are wonderful and friendly. This is now my go to spot when I pull into Sonoma County. Thank you The Branch Line.“
“It's the second time I've eaten here. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is so friendly and efficient. Each of us had a different entree and they brought extra utensils so we could taste all of it. Even shared a couple desserts. I will return soon“
“There’s a bunch of coffee shops in Sebastopol, each of their charm or are just convenient to the consumer. Some people just made coffee immediately at the closest location, but for those I would recommend going the distance to this location because the coffee is exceptional, and I was calmly able to do some paperwork as well it’s a very nice environment.“
“We had a lovely time! Additionally We got to connect with the servers and delightful Owner! Everything we ate was remarkable! From the Gluten-free coconut bar, to the freshly cooked homemade soup, to the brewed in house hot chai tea and of course the delicious cookies!!! What a Welcoming Family business We will be returning to for now on!“
“Casual comfortable atmosphere. We've been twice, good choices of beer, matcha, kombucha concoctions. Food menu is limited but tasty. Highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich. Rode our bikes here each time. Everyone extremely friendly and welcoming!!“
“I found this Beautiful Place cozy and warm.Is being almost a Year I went for my coffee and pastries. If I have chance I will go every single day.I love this Coffee Shop And the Grocery Store next to the Coffee shop.I highly recommend. Please support small business.Vegetarian options: You will love it.Kid-friendliness: Kids friendlyParking: You can park right in front.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessibleDietary restrictions: They have selection for everyone.“
“I have never been to a boba shop that offered such a diverse variety of food. Not to mention that the food is delicious! You don't end up getting bloated after and the drinks are amazing. I'm not a Thai tea person but when I tried theirs, I keep craving for it. It's not over brewed and it's not powdery either like most places. Their beef skewers are so flavourful and their pad Thai is perfect. Definitely check them out! Their staff is extremely sweet as well and their customer service is above and beyond. I live all the way in Sacramento but the drive is worth it!“
“We stumbled upon Planks Coffee in Healdsburg and it turned out to be a delightful discovery! The small and beautiful setting adds to its charm, providing a cozy atmosphere. While the seating is limited, the menu is expansive and every item we tried was simply delicious. Our favorites included the Chai Latte, Biscuit Sandwich, Mushroom Sandwich, and the Greens Sandwich. Each dish was a flavor-packed delight. The attention to detail in crafting their menu is evident, offering a range of options for various tastes. The parking is decent, and despite the limited seating, we found the experience worthwhile. If you're a fan of quality coffee and scrumptious sandwiches, Planks Coffee is a must-visit spot in Healdsburg. Highly recommended! ?☕?“
“Terrific coffee.Amazing breakfast burritos.Wide variety of homemade baked goods.Convenient location.Friendly service!Right there that's the recipe for a five star review!Colleen delivers all of these elements.I always like to support local businesses where possible, it's an added bonus when the owner is kind and cheerful, which makes me glad that I came here, and look forward to coming back.My wife and I have been here taking care of Family Matters, and this has become a regular stop each day. Consistently, everything has been terrific here. If you're in the area looking for a coffee, a muffin, or a quick breakfast, this is the spot!Parking is super convenient, and there's plenty of places to sit inside if you want to just enjoy your coffee and burrito here.TLDR; Great coffee! Great breakfast burritos!“
“Amazing hidden gem that opens early (5am). Serving excellent varieties of local "Wolf" brand coffee & many wonderful choices of freshly baked donuts. My personal favorite, however, is a made-to-order fluffy breakfast croissant (or platter, if you prefer) filled with scrambled eggs, cheese & JUST RIGHT crispy bacon! Definitely yummy, sometimes addictive. After trying it once or twice - you may find yourself craving it in the morning. You were warned! LolI haven't eaten breakfast in decades, until discovering Crystal's Corner and those awesome croissant sandwiches. I'm disabled but still make a trip for them, even in pain. Warm, fresh and simply perfect, especially if you're partial to good croissants as I am (got spoiled in Geneva, Switzerland). They also serve breakfast bagels with your choice of: egg, cheese (different kinds, including cream cheese), bacon, sausage, ham, and plenty other options.HASHBROWNS are superb!!Check the board for "Daily Specials" -- though this restaurant is inexpensive in general, but the quality of food is ?.Also available & made to order are a variety of sandwiches, burgers, soups.. soft drinks, juices, fruits and more.Clean restrooms available in the back of the restaurant via outside walkway. Ask attendant for the key.Located next to Whole Foods, if you have a chance - don't miss trying out this wonderful & honest small family business. You won't regret it. Just the sheer variety of donuts (melt in your mouth fresh) is well worth trying!I know I'm repeating myself but I still HIGHLY recommend most of all the above-mentioned "egg, bacon & cheese" croissant (+ optional hashbrowns) as the bestest savory item on the menu - if you have room, get double bacon.. as this family owned & operated small business makes it sooooooo good, just the right amount of crunch!!Finish off with a donut of your choice, maybe a coffee or an orange juice - and you'll have energy well past lunchtime!Deliciousness guaranteed! ?“
“What you would hope an independent coffee shop to be: Above average, carefully made coffee, in a friendly welcoming environment.Excellent and well prepared coffee. Creamy. Not sour. Not bitter. Sufficient foam. Smooth. That alone can be sufficient for many.Everyone was nice. Not just the person at the register. The barista was even nicer. But that wasn't it. Even the person in the prep area in the back was friendly and directed me to the restroom with a smile. Bonus point. They apparently make their own quiches here. They have outdoor seating, which is a big plus.Best reason to be impressed was that someone else had taken my coffee drink because it was the same size. He noticed that after a few minutes when his drink became ready. The barista discarded my original drink, and made me a new one. I didn't ask her. She didn't even seem to know I had observed what took place. Her action showed that she cared about hygiene, in addition to providing me a freshly made hot cup of coffee.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian quiche.“
“A cultural expression of baked goods , lunch items, coffee and the Abuelita de chocolate ( the best hot chocolate you can imagine ) The staff is one reason I go to Tia Maria's . Helpful, friendly and now I know them by name , due to my frequent visits . Get a punch card for coffee and or sandwiches . Fill the card and that item next time if free. My friends grab a table and enjoy this cafe for several hours without being asked to adiós. Hispanic holidays are filled with traditional treats and getting to see those traditional baked treats right here is a cultural adventure for the eyes, and mouth . Yum 5 stars“
“Super cool neighborhood spot. Great beer, great food, fun events, friendly staff. One of the best grilled cheese sandwiches I've ever had! Outdoor seating only (covered and with heat lamps in winter), it's a small spot with a bar and a few tables. Dog-friendly, they have water bowls for use. They usually have a game or fight or something along these lines on the bar tvs. There is a small lot for parking and plenty of street parking.“
“Their coffee is exceptional, with a rich and robust flavor that's sure to please even the most discerning coffee connoisseur. Whether you're in the mood for a classic espresso or fancy trying something more adventurous like a pour-over or cold brew, Avid Coffee has you covered. Not only is the coffee top-notch, but the ambiance of the cafe is also perfect for catching up with friends, getting some work done, or simply enjoying a quiet moment alone with your thoughts. The decor is modern yet warm loft style, with plenty of comfortable seating options and soothing background music.I highly recommend stopping by Avid Coffee if you find yourself in Montgomery Village. It's the perfect place to relax and recharge with a delicious cup of coffee in hand. The peanut butter cookies from Avid Coffee are a true delight for the taste buds! With a perfect balance of sweetness and nuttiness, these cookies offer a satisfying crunch with every bite. What sets these cookies apart is their irresistible texture – crispy.“
“I'd say that the quality is only middle-of-the-road for Starbucks locations, but the service and ambience are both great. Employees are always super friendly and go the extra mile, which is a really nice surprise coming from the East Coast, service is super fast, and I love the mixture of seating options and the working outlets. Recommended as a place to stay and enjoy a drink, although there are better options in Healdsburg if you're taking an order to-go if your'e not .“
“Stopped here Saturday afternoon for something warm. My husband and I got the Chai latte which was probably the best we have ever had out. They make their own concentrate which is rare these days....perfection! Our nieces got the hot chocolate. "This is the best hot chocolate I have ever had" words from my niece. Cute little shop, with some nibbles if that is your thing. The service was great as well. Will be stopping here next time we are in Healdsburg.“
“Food is regular cuisine and tasty.Atmosphere is pleasant but it was not crowded. (Noise level might be less comfortable when super busy.)Bathroom was very clean but NOT pretty. Could use some updating or at the least a little paint.Wait-person was fast, efficient and pleasant.I could see that it was family friendly too.“
“Lovely, gorgeous, as comforting as a library for readers, as fun as an elementary school for families, delicious poppy seed with lemon cakes, large coffees, we enjoyed the games, piano, Christmas tree with gifts to donate. Fantastic place to bring your family and friends.“
“I absolutely love this place. I’ll stop by maybe once a month and get there iced chai with white chocolate. It’s so good. On Friday and Saturdays I believe there is a live band or musician which makes the experience just chillin in there awesome. They even have some good food. I’ve had their breakfast sandwiches and enjoy them anytime I’m here. Would always come back“
“This place is great! It’s a diner in the back and takeout doughnuts in the front. The food is delicious. The people are nice and the prices are low. Definitely worth a visit.Kid-friendliness: The kids will love all the different varieties of donuts“
“Today was the first time coming to this little diamond in the rough. While there all of the other customers were full of smiles and having great cup of joe conversations. I ordered an iced latte. And on first sip, I felt a woosh of pure caffeinated bliss wash over my body. Ahmed al-Ghaffar The creator of what we know as coffee today would be honored to know it could become something as good as this. Highly recommend going to Cuppa for a great cuppa coffe!“
“Took us a bit to get back, but so happy we did! Such a fun treat for the boys after a Costco trip! The menu is so fun, such good options! I got the Teaspoon Paloma, and normally it takes me a lot to switch off a milk tea with boba, but what a great choice! It was so delicious and refreshing, not to sweet, just perfect on a nice spring day. The only thing I wish was to have smaller sizes and more kid friendly options for my super picky kiddo, but overall my favorite boba place in town by far!“
“Scrumptious, mouthwatering, melt in your mouth gooey goodness. Not a super sweet donut but light and airy with good ingredients. I didn’t feel bloated afterwards. Highly recommend the cronut— a hybrid version of a croissant/donut. Absolutely loved the sugar and spice vegan sweet potato donut!! Easy parking and the staff are super friendly and nice. Also, check out their coffee drinks ?“
“This is a great place to get croissants and many more. I have bought so many croissants from this location and it is by far the best croissants I have eaten so far in my life. I don't know why people have lef less than 5 star reviews. The guys who attend this place are very friendly and always have a big smile. They are always very friendly, always. I definitely recommend this place. I have been buying from this place for more than 2 years now. Something I really like about the croissants from this location is that they are very crunchy. The croissants from other locations are somewhat soft and it's not my preferred way of eating croissants.“
“Alex and Cody are friendly, welcoming, and efficient! Like their suggestions too when you don't know what to order!Parking: Plenty of parking in large parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Lots of tables and seating.Wheelchair accessibility: Tables are NOT close together, plenty of room.“
“Authentic and simply delicious. Love the special beef pho (pho dac biet), the vermicelli combo, pork banh mi, and the crispy tofu (garlic-y tastiness). If you sit in, you’ll often see an order of the crispy tofu on every table. The service is always excellent. This has made moving away from the South Bay and the readily accessible Vietnamese food in San Jose bearable and has definitely become my new go-to!“
