Quail & Condor Reviews
The best bakery outside of Paris, and some of their pastries you can’t find anywhere else. It’s a reflection of the best team working there. The offerings are just divine!
I fly to Healdsburg to visit family. Never missed stopping by at Quail & Condor for amazing treats, and I just tried their new breakfast menu.
Top notch quality!
There’s negative comments about tipping, and a lot of misinformation from the public. Comments from out of state ppl that haven’t even visited the bakery. I am aware that the staff are paid salary because a cousin of mine works there. I’m sure the owners had the best intentions supporting their employees.
So good! The Lox Toast was excellent and the super seed bread was to die for. I’d love the recipe.

Quail & Condor is a beloved spot for locals and visitors alike. Known for its mouthwatering baked goods, including the best scones and savory biscuits, everything is divine. The ham and cheese croissant is a standout favorite. The bakery offers a variety of treats, including quiche, oatmeal cream pies, and sticky buns. The outdoor seating area provides a cozy space to enjoy the food, and although the parking lot is small and can be tricky to navigate, the friendly staff make the experience pleasant. Customers especially enjoy the salmon lox toast, which is fresh and bright with a good balance of herbs, salmon, and spread, and the cinnamon rolls, which have a perfect balance of frosting and roll. The chocolate cake is moist and delicious, and the kouign amann is incredibly layered and flaky. While some items like the quiche can be dense and almost cheesecake-like, and the cardamom pistachio knot may lack noticeable pistachio or cardamom flavor, these small issues don't take away from the overall enjoyment. The bakery's sourdough bread is also highly praised for its quality, making it a versatile choice for any meal. Though the croissants are flaky and good, some find they are not worth the long wait, and others prefer croissants from different local places. The high ratings are well-deserved, as customers consistently find the variety of items to be delicious, fresh, and some of the best they’ve had. The atmosphere has a vibe of tradition, family history, and European heritage, reflected in the straightforward service and excellent pastries. Overall, Quail & Condor offers a delightful selection of baked goods, friendly service, and a cozy outdoor setting.
