I love going to Parish on a nice, sunny day. It was stormy out when we were there, and unfortunately, every time the wait staff had to open the door by our table, it didn't fall shut by itself. The wind was high, and the temperature was low. Not their fault - it's a converted old house, which usually adds to the ambiance. This past Saturday, it was inconvenient and a bit uncomfortable.

All around top notch. From the warm welcome from our waiter, divine coffee delish beignets and a breakfast po-boy with Tabasco aioli and fried green tomatoes over fried eggs. Truly tasty. Cute t shirts too.

If you're looking for genuine beignets ; look no further! Comes served fresh, puffy & powdery. Excellent with the coffee ( w/ notes of chicory)! Also ordered half sandwich oyster po'boy. Love the fried oysters and fresh local bread ( makes a difference ). The gumbo was flavorful and comforting! Staff was very friendly and always checking- in. I was at the bar table so I got a full view of the busy kitchen. The preparers/ cooks very focused! Good place for taste of Cajun / Creole...read full review
