“The photo does not do it justice! My fiancé went in to pick up our order and the gentleman there was beyond kind to give him a bowl of delicious lentil soup while he waited. We got the chicken tikka masala and garlic naan and we were not disappointed. It was delicious and flavorful with perfectly cooked chicken and rice. The sauce was perfectly balanced the portions were large and left us both with no complaints! We cannot wait to go back and try other things. It’s definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I will be recommending to friends.“

“I hadn’t been here in years but I used to come here almost daily. I had never met Johnny, but I did today. I am glad to see this place hasn’t changed at all. A very charming coffee shop, like something out of a sitcom. Coffee is always great.“

“I want to give them 5 stars all around, because everything is delicious. It’s also VERY cute. The only downside is the service from one specific person in the front… She rarely smiles and each time my order has an error. I really hate to say something, but she does make a ding in your visit unfortunately. I just wish she had a little more enthusiasm to be there. Also paying attention to what you grab is important especially if food allergies could be involved..“

“As someone who was born in Vietnam and a self proclaimed foodie, I think the quality of ingredients they use here is second to none. They beef seems to be much higher quality than other pho places around, and they definitely boil bone broth to make their stock, just like my mom does at home. Its lovely to see since not every Vietnamese place goes though the effort to do that, and the taste is significantly different! My go to is their Combination Beef Pho, Spicy Bun Bo Hue, and Lotus Root Salad - the last one is actually so awesome and rare to see Vietnamese Restaurants in the US!

Recently, they decided to add some Korean options to the menu and I had to try it out and I loved everything I ordered. We ordered the A Kimchi Stew, Spare Ribs and Beef Bulgogi from their new summer specials and loved every bite. As a pho lover, I cannot deviate too far from my usual order, but it is great to be able to invite friends who want Korean Food while I enjoy my Vietnamese classics.

Lastly, we had such a delightful time with our server, Lim. She was so chipper and seemed to really care about us having a good time while there. We were starving after wine tasting, and dinner here closed out our day perfectly. We cant wait to go back next time we are in Cotati!“

“I had the most wonderful time at Mad Batter! I came in for a last minute large order of desserts for a potluck I was going to and they helped me out so fast!! They recommended things to me based on like budget, taste, what would be most shareable, all the things!! “Waited about 15 minutes for an order that never came out. I eventually went back up to ask if they were still working on it and they said they actually hadn’t started it yet. I had also ordered two iced coffees, but one of the employees said they didn’t have any iced coffee up front and might have some in the back — though it sounded like he didn’t really want to go check — and instead asked if it would be OK to make an iced Americano.

By the time everything got sorted out, one of the breakfast sandwiches had already gone cold so I had to exchange it for another one.

To be fair, it seemed like most of the confusion was coming from their ticketing system, and the staff did end up giving me a 50% discount to make it right, which I appreciated.

“I have tried some of their breads and they are OK. Could be better. Not on par with La Brea. The baguette looks good but only comes in French (sweet) not sourdough. They should start making sourdough baguettes. The batards are shaped too much like basketballs but do come in sourdough as well as the non-sour or Pane Francese. “This is really a good restaurant and it’s located on Farmer’s in Santa Rosa, CA. I had originally gone to another restaurant but they were so “full” and I just wanted to get a meal to go and be out of there. I ordered the Shrimp & Chicken Udon Noodles box which consisted of the Udon Noodles, kale, bean sprouts, steamed rice, side salad with cucumbers and tomatoes with a Japanese dressing. A soup with tofu & green onions in a bone beef broth. Also, I order the Jumbo Tempura Shrimp and it came with a teriyaki sauce. A very good meal with large portions. Friendly staff & a clean environment which is very important to me.“

“I’ve been here twice now, and can’t get enough! I tried the minty chocolate ice cream that they had, can’t remember the name and it was delicious. But my absolute favorite was the lavender ice cream with the gluten-free waffle cone. I do not have a gluten intolerance, but I ordered it because the waffle cone was cinnamon flavored and it was amazing.“

“Having traveled to India and Nepal, I can confidently say this is great Nepal/Indian food! It has the traditional foods you will recognize like tikka masala and biryani and all of it is good! We have taken many people out to this restaurant and everyone enjoys it. Highly recommend!“
