“I LOVE this place. I have visited many times (both their Cotati and Sebastopol locations) and everything I have tried has been phenomenal. Bright, fresh flavors and a fun menu. I've tried their sandwiches, jook, nutty noods (my daughter's favorite) and crispy rice salad (incredible). All have been absolutely delicious. Their space in Cotati is super cute with fun interior and a lovely patio. Highly recommend this yummy place.”
“The food was super fresh and delicious! I ordered the tabbouleh, falafels, gyro, and lentil soup. The tabbouleh was so fresh and I loved the fact I could taste the olive oil in it! I ate the gyro in one sitting, I don’t think I even put it down it was that good!”
“I’ve eaten here many times. The first time I had the Bacon Jam BLT. It is beyond delicious! It is so good that I have ordered it every time since, even though the rest of their menu looks good as well. The two sisters are absolutely wonderful hosts/waitresses and are very charming. I highly recommend this restaurant.”
“Good burgers (of various sorts) and sides, along with some tasty beers. The garlic fries were perhaps excessively garlic, and the cajun fries sat in sand dunes of cajun seasoning.Service was friendly and helpful, and, though the orders were served in back, the person at the register recognized me to call me over when the order was up.The overall interior was in industrial plywood, but it had a homey, pleasant feel.Net-net -- I would be happy to return, though I'm not sure it's quite worth the side trip from the 101 to get to it.Parking: Parking lot shared with the rest of the shopping center.”
“I was on my way to get dinner from Oliver's when I walked past this tiny restaurant and caught a whiff of the most delicious smelling foods through the open window. Immediately changing my plans, I walked into this restaurant and was greeted by a very friendly chef behind the counter. I ordered a tofu noodle bowl, but they were low on noodles so she asked if she could do half/half noodles and rice which was totally fine with me. She also asked if I am vegan, which I'm not, but it's great that she takes that into consideration. She said come back in 10 minutes and it'll be ready for you. So I went to Oliver's next door to get other things that I wanted, came back and paid cash, which is preferred. She made polite convo and also gave me a bag for my takeout AND for the stuff I got at Oliver's which was very kind. I ate at home, because there is no seating here except a waiting bench, and it was soooo stinking delicious. I don't know how she makes this tofu, but I wish I could make it like that at home. I absolutely will be back here when I am visiting my mom for the holidays!”
“"Mai Vietnamese Cuisine is my go-to spot for lunch, and I'm always delighted with their offerings. Without fail, I opt for the S2 Pho, but with a twist - I substitute the original broth with Bun Bo Hue broth, which infuses the dish with a delightful spiciness. The Bun Bo Hue broth boasts rich flavors that elevate the soup to another level, providing a satisfying kick. Additionally, they provide a variety of fresh veggie sides to enhance the pho experience. I never miss out on their freshly made spring rolls, a perfect accompaniment to the meal. I highly recommend giving it a try! Beyond the delicious food, the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming; it's evident that the owner takes pride in the restaurant, often seen working alongside the team."”
“Fernanda is an AMAZING cook. Her food is incredible and you can see and taste how much pride and love she puts in everything she makes. Her empadao, feijoada and cakes are a "must try". Don`t hesitate to order from her!”
“Went here for dinner, and it was perfect! Haven't been here in some time, but I've been here for dinner and live music in the past, and it is great! and I forgot how good it is! Tonight Ernesto was our server, and he was awesome! Went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our meals, and made good suggestions when we placed our orders. I had the turkey chili, and it was very good! I'm going to this place next time we are thinking of a place to go! It will be soon! Thanks for a good, long lasting place! AN”
“Great garlic fries. Good portion size, and the price isn't bad at all either. Have yet to try a burger here oddly enough, but the garlic fries alone have warranted a trek across town a few times for my girlfriend and I.”
“Go to this restaurant asap- they may be closing soon! This was hands down the best Chinese food we've had in years. The owner was our server and he was amazing. We had two boys with us and he kept them happy and engaged the whole time... just so sweet and he went above and beyond. We had sweet and sour chicken (phenomenal), broccoli and beef (amazing), honey walnut prawns (incredible), ham fried rice (wonderful flavor) and bbq pork chow mein (delicious). I wish we had found this place sooner! It was clean and cozy and just felt comfortable for a family.”
“Food was very good, service was amazing, the only rhing i have to say is there was two groups of people there that were so loud that it was hard to conversate with my husband so we felt rushed to eat..”
“Love the yellow curry with pumpkin, with duck roll for appetizer. Thai ice tea is awesome, the owner is very accommodating and friendly . Pad Thai and other dishes are excellent. I just always order my favorite and of course brown rice.”
“We stopped here for breakfast after leaving the hotel. It was a short drive from there and thankfully not very crowded. The atmosphere is very homey and the staff are friendly and attentive. Our breakfast was delicious and prepared very well. The eggs and hashbrowns were cooked nicely and the bacon was very good. Coffee was fresh and I was served half and half in a small container. That is so much better than the fake stuff served in little plastic containers. Customers seemed like locals and were friendly. Definitely recommend this little diner over big chain places.Parking: Located in shopping center so there is plenty of parking available.”
“Enjoying the Outdoors at Flagship Taproom Cotati The weather was beautiful on Sunday, so we took advantage of it with an out-of-town trip and headed north. Around late lunchtime, we found ourselves in Cotati. As we pulled over to park in La Plaza de Cotati, I noticed the sign for Flagship Taproom across the parking lot. Remembering its presence from a previous visit before the pandemic, I decided to try it out after our poppy walk. The Cotati location of Flagship Taproom has a nice outdoor seating area with seating for a few dozen people. Inside, they have a long bar, tables, stools, and TVs for sports fans. We opted for the outdoor seating. I checked the beer menu and asked for advice from the friendly young lady behind the bar. Following her recommendation, I chose Vato Loco, a Mexican Lager by Del Cielo Brewing Co. in Martinez, while my significant other opted for a Cherry Cider. To complete the experience, we ordered wings with Buffalo sauce. The outdoor tables were filled with a mix of young couples, their babies, and dogs, creating a vibrant and friendly atmosphere. We enjoyed our first round of drinks so much that I ordered another round. This time, I chose Orange You Delicious, an IPA also by Del Cielo, with double the alcohol content of the Vato Loco but equally tasty and flavorful. The wings were also delicious, and the Buffalo sauce had the perfect amount of spice I was looking for. We had a good time and, on the drive home, agreed that Flagship Taproom would be our go-to spot when we next visit Cotati.”
“Food here is tasty and fresh. I love the bread they have, very soft but not soggy (if you know, you know). Everyone here was very nice and accommodating and even allowed me to sample their chicken and tuna salads before ordering. The produce is fresh and crisp and everything together was amazing. Definitely coming back to work my way through their menu”
