“Been going here for years, mostly for take out. It's a solid choice. Their house salsa is amazing and I would buy gallons. One of the more fun bars to sit at, and the margheritas are excellent. Great choice for the occasional burrito but make sure to try their specials! It gets a bit chaotic on busy days (evenings especially) but the servers are always super nice.“

“You know the food is good when Abuelita (did I spell that right?) is in the kitchen. I simply ordered a shrimp quesadilla with their handmade tortilla. Speechless. The handmade tortilla was so perfect that every time I go to a Taqueria now I ask if they have handmade tortillas just to see if I can re-create the experience I had here.. The shrimp…seasoned but not so over-seasoned that you didn’t taste the shrimp. The cheese balances and blends flavors and textures at the same time. That’s it, cheese, shrimp and handmade tortilla. I was in the area for work but I promise I’m gunna make the 1 hr drive back on my own time just to order this again. The chips were even homemade and oh my gosh they went so well with also homemade salsa.“

“The food and service were good. Not amazing but decent. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the food was good. Have i had better, yes but was it good enough to go back again, sure. The drinks were good except I specifically requested a margarita on the rocks no salt and it came with salt and it was very light on the tequila. It definitely should have been a little stronger. The restaurant is nicely decorated with the beautiful metal star lamps hanging all over the restaurant giving this warm welcoming glow that is very inviting.“

“Hands down- the best breakfast burritos in the county! And they open at 7:30 AM. This combination has been hard to find in my travels. No Lard ever, and a whole vegan menu (called the McDougal). Convenient in/out and rarely much of a line. Photo/menu attached is from Nov 2025.“

“Amazing! The food is fresh, great quality! The portions are very generous. You can build your own burrito style bowl similar to Chipotle and their prices are more reasonable. They have a whole chips/salsa bar. No extra price for chips/salsa! They have a variety of beans and rice, even cilantro lime rice and better fajita style veggies. I just ordered a custom burrito bowl and even including extra add ons of sour cream and guacamole, it was under $20 and that included a tip! It's nice to support a family-owned local business. Trust me, you probably won't be going back to Chipotle after you try this place.“

“Ordered 2 tacos, Carne Asada and Caritas, x2.
Food was fresh, meat was prepared well, will no fat, caritas could have had more spice but very tasty. They have prepared onions with habeñero I put on my tacos. Chips, salsa and beans came with the meal if you eat at the restaurant. Service was good but got there right before the dinner rush.“

“Everything was great and huge for the price.

The fish and shrimp tacos were the best I've had. Huge, loaded, awesome.

The burrito was good size. The shredded chicken was very good.

The taco salad was HUGE. My daughter loved it.

The Super Quesadilla was HUGE. Very HUGE. Son ate half; we took the other half home and I ate it for second dinner and was stuffed.

Very inexpensive, great flavor, and the portions are HUGE! :)

“Been going here for a minute, always fire. I recommend you try literally any combination that sounds good to you, ask for what you want they’ll help you out. The Cochinita pibil which is Mexican pulled pork and lengua are my faves. Don’t sleep on the aguas frescos for a healthier soda experience“

“We tried their quesabirras at the Taylor Trades Outdoor Market in Santa Rosa and they were legit the best we’d had.
We then tried the restaurant and were blown away-every dish we tried was excellent! The molcajete speaks for itself! Chicken enchiladas verdes were the perfect balance of tangy and spicy, chorizo chimichanga ingredients were balanced with a perfect fry and the carnes asada plate—wow— the meat was incredibly flavorful and well done yet tender and juicy. Even the kiddos finished their combos without a single complaint. I’m not usually a fan of aguas frescas but theirs were incredibly flavorful. I would quite literally stop there just to pick up their strawberry or jamaica agua fresca.
On top of killer, good their service was exceptional.

“I really miss Sonoma Taco Shop and their McDougall vegan menu. I've sampled alot of veggie burritos in SoCo, and Ochoas is the real deal. It was the just right balance of rice, beans and steamed broccoli, cauliflower and carrots wrapped in a chewy whole wheat tortilla. The red and green salsas are both really flavorful. So glad to have found them and to hear they have a restaurant in Santa Rosa with same menu. I'll be back!“

“Just tried Del Valle Mexican Restuarants and it was honestly so good. I got some tacos with a margarita and a pineapple michelada. Everything was super fresh and flavorful. The pineapple michelada was especially good and really refreshing with the tacos. What surprised me the most was how affordable it was for the quality. Honestly it's probably one of the best Mexican spots in Santa Rosa. I'll definitely be going back.“

I got the tacos (chorizo and pastor) and my wife got the 2 taco combo with pastor and pollo asado tacos (the combo comes with beans and rice). “I first came here during a field trip in 1st grade back in 2007. I started coming again, in 2021. Ever since then, I’ve been consistently coming here to eat, mainly because its tasted like homemade food from my childhood. Its not like other restaurants, where the employees are young people or just someone hired on basically. And no disrespect to those establishments but it just feels different.

Here at Lila’s, its a family owned operation. They really mean that. You’ll feel like you’re coming to your Abuela’s restaurant, and not just any mexican restaurant. Everyone has their own taste, but I stand behind the food here and the people that make it. I order super burritos of carnitas, sometimes chorizo, or whatever Im in the mood for and its always been cooked with care. Thank you“

“I went to a paint night that was hosted here on Wednesday night. Great space, love the atmosphere, bright and cheery decor and murals. The food was great. And that Michelada was over the top! Painting on the patio on a perfect evening with friends, I can’t wait to go back.“
