found this place on sonomas top rated sushi website & it did not disappoint, I’m very picky with my tuna and they use the most delicious blue fin I’ve ever had! I got the Godzilla roll and it was amazing , will be back
First time here and the food was delicious and portion was larger than what we typically get at other sushi restaurants near us and price was reasonable. Will return:) service excellent too!

Shige Sushi is a small, cute, and homey restaurant that serves up amazing food. The lunch specials are wonderful, and the fish is fresh. The staff is friendly, although seating and remembering where customers are seated could be improved. The decor is cool, with non-dusty objects to look at, especially at the sushi bar. Japanese diners dining there is a good sign of great food. Despite tables being close together, the service is excellent and prompt. It can get busy, so making a reservation is recommended to avoid a wait.
The restaurant is run by actual Japanese people who know the correct flavors and qualities in Japanese food. It's not particularly fancy, and the servers are young people who may not know the nuances of sake or etc. However, the food is the best sushi in the area, at a better price and less pretentious. Customers can enjoy dishes like Takoyaki that are not commonly found on many menus.
