“Today a few friends and I celebrated my birthday, by getting dinner and drinks at Chevys. We sat at a table by the bar. All the staff were absolutely amazing, and such a good time. Special thanks to Ricardo for being awesome! I wish I could remember the other waiters name because he was so sweet and did an amazing job also.”

“We visited Townes during Sonoma County restaurant week and they did not disappoint! Their Mussels were absolutely to die for! There wasn't just a simple broth in the bottom of the dish, it was more like a tasty chowder with fine veggies and seasonings that you wanted to soak up every drop of! Their desserts were also yummy. The setting is pretty simple having previously been 3rd Street Ale Works but the food and service was stellar!”

“The food is amazing and the customer service is top notch! I enjoyed the carne asada French fries which were heaping with cheese and meat. Everything tastes fresh and the meat didn't taste like mock steak that other places try passing off as real. I believe this may have just become my new favorite Mexican restaurant in all of Sonoma county. Though this was 11 miles from my house in Rohnert Park, I will easily make it my new go to for amazing Mexican food. The avocado salsa is spicy but super good.... I give this place 10 stars, and I like to think of myself as a Mexican food critic with growing up in San Diego where all the Mexican food is great! I am so stuffed after only less then 3/4 of my meal, which I should have stopped eating while I was ahead, but I managed to savor every last bite. The breakfast burritos look amazing so that is what I'm chasing after next. You're welcome...”

“The minute we stepped into this restaurant, we were greeted by a nice young lady (who my four-year-old child greeted with a nice compliment of her dress). She placed us near the open kitchen and after we ordered, we were surprised with a plate of little munchies including grapes, celery, carrots, cheese, chips, and peanut butter (for free). My daughter devoured this. We ordered a cheese pizza for her and a sausage and caramelized onion pizza and three grilled shrimp tacos. We also shared truffle fries- which we were planning to take home but never quite made it since we ate it all. The food was great- the smokiness of the sauce in the tacos paired with the grilled shrimp and the freshness of the slaw in the tacos made it perfectly balanced. The ambiance felt lively with the open kitchen. I loved watching them place the pizzas in the beehive oven and the pizzas came out perfect. The staff was very attentive and filled our drinks when it was running low. I was very impressed with this place and will be returning with my family again.”

“The food here is authentic Italian and, in my Italian opinion, the best in Santa Rosa. The service and ambiance are great given what they have to work with. It's a nice reasonably priced dinner date establishment. Be sure to make reservations for best seating.”

“This place has the best fish n' chips and calamari! Their tartar sauce is mouth watering!! Everything else on their menu sounds so good too, but I always go with the same thing because it's too good to not order. Leave room for dessert and try their lemon cloud; it iS HEAVENLY!”

“Lasagna was super soft and tasty. Plenty of sauce to mop up with the buttered bread.Spaghetti Carbonara I was told is very good. The Fettuccine Alfredo is a kid favorite. Brother had the bouillabaisse, which he thought tasted great, but wasn't very filling. The shrimp, clams, scallops, salmon, and calamari were very delicious, but he wanted more of each. He said he got 2 shrimp, 3 clams and a little bit of everything else. Soaked up the soup with bread, but was still not filling.Sister had the chicken Marsala and Mom had the chicken piccata. I thought the chicken was a little dry, but the roasted potatoes and brussel sprouts were good. Mom said the chicken was half dry and half good.The violinist was very good. Played a couple of covers we recognized. I recognized Zombie by the Cranberries, but I don't know a lot of song names. Very good. Violinist walked around and gave everyone in the restaurant a front row seat to the music.Waitstaff is amazing and checked in on us multiple times. Refilled water without prompting which was nice. Refilled bread multiple times which was great. The olive oil and black vinegar went very well with the bread. I thought it was garlic bread until I saw the garlic bread on the menu. Very surprised. The table bread is amazing and surprised it's free. I would come just to have a drink and eat bread ??Bathroom is clean, but the soap dispenser is a bit hard to press for a kid. Adults should have no problems.After 6pm, the nearby parking is free.Street parking is also free after 6pm Mon to Sat.Parking: After 6pm it's free.”

“During a business trip to Rohnert Park, we were fortunate enough to happen upon this gem! A menu with the right amount of variety. The food was absolutely delicious. The Walter Hansel Cuvee Alyce Chardonnay was breathtaking. I have never had better. The service was incredible. They had a small staff working to serve, but as soon as we finished a course, they were removing the dishes and delivering the next course, which was perfectly prepared. The restaurant is intimate, warm and inviting. It was very clear the entire staff enjoyed what they were doing and were proud of their work, as they should be! We look forward to the next opportunity to return, for sure. The only disappointing thing is that we live too far away to come here often.”

“In my humble opinion the best Indian food in Santa Rosa. The guys working the restaurant are all very friendly and helpful. It’s a simple restaurant that’s very much hidden away. I’ve had a variety of curries and found them to be very good. I haven’t tried any tandoori dishes. Definitely will be back again to dine in. Prices are very reasonable.”

“The iconic Russian River Brewing downtown location. Much more soul and history then the new location. There are lines that you will have to wait sometimes but I found now that they opened the Winsor location the wait isn't as long as it use to be.The bar is where you want to be at just to stare at the incredible number of taps on the wall. Get the "Full Taster" and be prepared to take a lot of pictures of it and immediately ordering an Lyft/Uber (don't drink and drive!!!). They have a small gift shop that will allow you to grab your fan-boy swag and some fresh beers for the road. Must stop for any craft beer fan.”

“First time there - Valentine’s Day afternoon on the way home from a medical appointment. It was raining. My husband ordered take out and came back to wait in the car. He said he was really impressed by the young lady who took his order. He said she was pleasant, said please and thank you when she asked him questions and received payment, and she offered to bring the food out to the car (not necessary). The burgers were delicious. We’ll be going back soon.”

“A menu focused on small plates, all of which were creative and well-executed. Service was friendly but seemed harried on this night. Wine program, as you would expect, with so many of the wines available in half bottles, is exceptional. Only downside is that many of the tables are lousy, either next to people running into the kitchen, putting in orders or right in front of doors.- Mushroom salad - sounds simple but very flavorful, with shaved fennel. Get- Tuna tartare - one of the best that we have had, with perfect balance and size and cut to tuna. Get- Chicken thighs - tzatziki was to die for. Get”

“The food was delicious, very fresh, looked beautiful. The robot is a neat tool for delivering sushi. That's pretty cool. There was one server literally sprinting upstairs and downstairs to try to help everybody. On one hand, we didn't get the correct amount of silverware for the people at our table and didn't see our server for 15 minutes at a time. On the other hand, the poor lady was trying to run the whole ship herself. So based off of one person serving an entire two-level restaurant, it would be a seven Stars out of five. As far as my actual experience receiving service not so great. If I were to do this again I would just get my food to go. Also, I have no idea who picked the music or the volume for the music but both were a bad choice. It was the strangest loudest music. We had to yell to hear each other over the table. Also heads up the miso comes in like a double wall stainless steel bowl maybe so it feels safe to eat touching from the outside but it's way hotter on the inside.”

My boyfriend and I first tried Vine on DoorDash and immediately knew it would be added to our regular take out rotation.Then my dad came into town for work, finished his work early so he looked for a place to go eat while I was working, saw a lamb burger on the menu and knew he would he going there! In addition to the great food, the owner and server were both extremely friendly and welcoming.We love Vine Burgers and recommend it to all our friends and visitors in the area!”

“Obsessed. Jeffrey's is our favorite neighborhood breakfast spot. We like to go an hour or 1.5 hours before closing as the line has died down by this point. My husband is a chicken fried steak connoisseur and he says this is the best one. I'm a big fan of the cobb salad with a side of fries for lunch and the bacon & Brussels sprouts hash for breakfast. The staff are friendly, personable and accommodating. Ambiance is family friendly. Outdoor seating available and dog friendly patio.”

“It would be cool if the boats were being utilized for food. The top part (a conveyor belt) was functional and some of our food came to the table on jt. Overall the food was okay in an area without many Japanese cuisine offerings. If I was around I'd come back, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come. Nice staff, OK service (we came during a busy time). Restaurant was clean.”

“We were fortunate to treat our daughter to dinner on her birthday. Le Gare's was perfect, fancy without being fussy. The food was wonderful and the service was perfect. Highly recommended.”

“Had a great table in a great setting, great service with Paul, and great food. Lucky us! I have one tip, if you are on a low salt diet this is gonna be hard to pick out something. This is not a criticism. I did find it at the upper end of my personal tolerance, but please understand the food was delicious. Not only delicious but refreshingly creative. We eat by splitting courses. Started with the pimento cheese bread (brioche), this is not a stand-alone ap but a gooey topping on bread that is light, airy, and rich. It went well with their well above average Negroni. Creativity kicked in with the tacos, probably all of them are good. Our pick was pastrami tacos. Very fun. I've heard the duck choice is good. Next were the lamb meatballs. Some people complain about the gaminess of lamb, but I complain when it isn't gamey-lamby enough. If you like mild lamb, their choice of meat is great. My personal preferences aside, it was a very good dish. Finished with a very nice and just-right panna cotta. This place is definitely going into our rotation (The Santa Rosa, CA rotation: B&B, Jackson's, Grossmans, Ca Bianca, Cascabel, Yeti)”

“A+ service and food. Beef Cheek, Salmon, Scallops, Onion Soup and Creme Brule (huge) were extremely well prepared. Beef fell apart with a fork, wonderful flavor. Potatoes under with the gravy, perfect fit. Scallop dish very rich. Cheesy, flavorful and cooked perfectly. Sauce was stupid good. Probably was the highest A+. Onion soup was exactly what it should have been....Classic French Onion Soup. Salmon done very French style. Sauce was over the top good. Creme Brule was huge, biggest I have ever been served (over 100 times). More importantly, excellent flavor and texture (both custard and hard flamed top). Service was attentive, timely and not overbearing. Really awesome experience!!! Will be back very soon!!”

We ordered the Beef Bourguignon & Grilled Akaushi Steak options and all of us LOVED it. “This was our last spot of the day. We enjoyed our visit. Our host was super nice, friendly and informative. She gave us info about the wine, the owner, and the area. We had sparkling to whites to reds. We enjoyed sitting outside in the comfy chairs and the view of the vineyard. Such a relaxing place to visit. Walked away with some sparkling wine.”

I usually don't find many places that are able to do all 3, but I only spent $53 for the bottlecap burger, fettuccine Alfredo, lemonade, a beer, and an appetizer of fried pickles. Really friendly staff, but we got the food fairly fast. As a bonus it's a nice relaxed atmosphere.”

“This is really a good restaurant and it’s located on Farmer’s in Santa Rosa, CA. I had originally gone to another restaurant but they were so “full” and I just wanted to get a meal to go and be out of there. I ordered the Shrimp & Chicken Udon Noodles box which consisted of the Udon Noodles, kale, bean sprouts, steamed rice, side salad with cucumbers and tomatoes with a Japanese dressing. A soup with tofu & green onions in a bone beef broth. Also, I order the Jumbo Tempura Shrimp and it came with a teriyaki sauce. A very good meal with large portions. Friendly staff & a clean environment which is very important to me.”

“First time at this Indian restaurant. Had the lunch special and chose the chicken tikka masala. The lunch came with basmati rice.naan and a lentil soup and a salad. The soup was very good with the tasty lentils, salad was with specialty lettuce, also very good and I chose the medium spicy for the masala. It was very good. The restaurant has a check in special that gives 10% off the meal, but our server had no idea what that was, and that he needed to talk with the owner. Ambiance for the place that is in a strip mall was a typical Indian restaurant, very few patrons during our visit. I would return, maybe next time will get that 10% discount.”

“My wife and I like the Southwest Salad. It's on the menu but when I ordered it I was told that it was discontinued. To the staff, if it's discontinued then atleast remove it from the menu. Also, I ordered stuffed jalapeños, tacos and chicken strips amongst other things, I like to eat the 3 named items with buttermilk and when I asked the cashier for it he told me they were out. So I came back to the hotel without 2 of the main items I like from Jack in the Box.”

“Our experience with the Wooden Petal was fantastic. I ordered 8 pretzels for my husband’s birthday because he LOVES pretzels. I read great reviews on a few pages and gave it a try. The experience from start to finish was great. They were so friendly when I picked up my order. There was a little birthday message on the box. Such a nice detail. We warmed up the pretzels according to the directions and wow were they tasty! We will order again, for sure. Thank you for helping me create such a nice birthday weekend.”

“Stopped in for lunch to a restaurant I had visited before, as my regular was so busy and had no parking available. I truly had a great Dungeness crab salad! Awesome dressing on lettuce that did not overpower the whole. Cucumber crisp, tomatoes were good, sliced boiled egg, plenty of a perfectly beautiful avocado sliced on top, sliced asparagus was a yum and a great portion of sweet tasty Dungeness crab. I now want to return to try other things on the menu. Only I just didn't get a water refill , but they were busy so that was overlooked.”

It’s unique in Santa Rosa, not only for its scotch egg, but where else can you get a black velvet. This pub has a great vibe that’s relaxing, very friendly, and welcoming. Their staple banh mi is great, their com sung is solid, and their teas are delicious, but it's hard to justify the prices for the quantity you get. Service is decently quick, with two very friendly and charming owners. However, the restaurant can get very hot in the summer without air conditioning. Overall a lovely family owned place, albeit slightly expensive.”

“I go here often to pick up lunch for my wife and I during her lunch break as she works at the Macy's at calling Town Mall within the same parking lot as this Subway that is within the Valero gas station. There's a young woman by the name of Liz who is very professional and very kind and quick and good at her job. You can actually hear her smile when she speaks. I think she legitimately is enjoying her job because it is pretty hard to fake that with every customer so I think her positivity is most definitely for real. That long wait made me think that Liz was there by herself. Other than that everything has been great here”

Also, I have no idea who picked the music or the volume for the music but both were a bad choice. It was the strangest loudest music. We had to yell to hear each other over the table. Also heads up the miso comes in like a double wall stainless steel bowl maybe so it feels safe to eat touching from the outside but it's way hotter on the inside.”

This isn't your everyday pizza place - they have a Greek deli with Gyros, Baklava, Spanakopita, Greek salads and more. All their ingredients are locally sourced and they are family owned. They have great specials, HUGE calzones and a New York style slice counter too. They have beers on tap, wine and a great happy hour to make you want to stick around on their shaded/heated patio. Highly recommend their Phoenix Pizza, Zeus pizza, Cubano calzone, and their incredible gyros. The lamb alone is something to write home about.This is a family-run, small operation so be patient while they are hand-preparing every item with care and freshness in mind. Calling ahead or ordering online is always a great option too!”

Food was surprising good, every element, all 4 lunches a hit, quantity and quality was great. Good specials menu which lured 2 of us to try special crab dishes (usually a bad idea) but the crab was local, super fresh, big portions. Actually, they only use local ingrediants and each plate's presentation was great. We were each convinced we had ordered the best dish on the menu. Service was great, we forced our server to recommend dishes and asked a ton of questions, he ended up way out on a limb then looked like a pro when each of us told him he was 100% right.”

The fries were crispy and served with a pineapple ketchup for a different twist. The sliders were good, we ordered them with a lettuce wrap since the buns weren't vegan. I enjoyed my martini and the service was attentive. It was fun to have some plant-based dishes to try and an adult beverage!”

“Is this in Northern California Seaside fish house? No. Is it Scoma's on on Fisherman's Wharf? No. Is it located in a strip mall? yes. It's kind of like elevated Joe's Crab Shack except the food is actually good, the Crab and Seafood was excellent quality, and the service is even better. I usually like my crab and seafood seasonings somewhat mild so I can enjoy the taste of the fish, but they're seasoning rubs are 10/10.”

Security was out and around the floor, and staff was hustling with their drinks. I was expecting some Rap or RnB music but it was a mix of just good songs with latin roots. It wasn't too crowded, just right. I only rate 4 stars because vaping inside was not enforced as much as it should be.”

“For mall food I liked it. Was feeling like it was pricey for a bowl but cashier gave hints on how to get the most for your money. It's do it yourself on adding the thin slices of meat and veggies to your bowl, and then someone will add sauces/garlic/chili. Once they take it to cook they will add a bowl of noodles. It's a lot of food. My husband and I could of shared if he didn't ask to add a lot of chili sauce.”
