“I don't live in Santa Rosa any more, I haven't in ~20 years but I grew up there and EVERYONE knows Sam's! I was in town for the holidays and went there for lunch with a friend. The menu is enormous and while I was tempted by the all day breakfast, I landed on a French Dip sandwich that I had been craving. If you are anywhere in the area, stop by, you'll be glad you did!

Portions are large and prices are better than average. The woman who helped us was a total sweetheart and very welcoming. Highly recommended for classic diner experience“

“Well it's no longer called Legends!! It is now called " Iron & Vine" and tha place is amazing. I attended a wedding there yesterday and it was outstanding. It was very lovely and the view is amazing from the banquet room. The staff is amazing and the food is so wonderful. And the gentleman bartending was fabulous, poured the most perfect old fashioned for me and my wife wanted something sweet and he suggested a cider from Humboldt County, he said it was sweet, and a 7%, that was a cherry cider she enjoyed very very much " exactly what she wanted". A must place to go and see and definitely enjoy the happy hour, and the food is beyond words. And make sure you go see that bartender, I think his name is Marshall or Michael!“

The food is mostly shareable bites, the cocktails were delicious. The DJ on Sunday by the pool left us wanting to stay longer! The best thing about the resort is the staff! “Been waiting to go for months. Finally went and the food was absolutely amazing but we never where checked on. I just wanted a water and salsa and was looking the whole meal for an employee. made eye contact with our server and she ignored me 3 times, then brought our check and said you can pay whenever. not even how was the food. my husband had to get me my water as he fully finished his food while I was still trying to stall because I wanted salsa on my 25$ omelet. 😕“

There were Peanuts illustrations and lines in various places in the store, and the view of the skating rink from the window was refreshing, making it a special space!

The cafe was crowded with many people using the skating rink, and I felt that it was a cafe that was loved by the local community.

Kid-friendliness: This restaurant is very kid friendly with a full kids menu including dessert. Interactive kids menu is always a hit with our daughter. If you are interested I believe there are also games that are available on a tablet at the table, although I have zero experience with using that.“

This is the opposite experience of in and out Starbucks - it takes time to put the love in the drinks and food but it is so worth it! This place feels like you’re visiting a coffee shop in a small European village. The owner and the barista are so warm and welcoming. I wish I took pics of the drinks and food but we were hitting the road and I totally forgot. Please support this 100% vegan small local business.“
