“Absolutely phenomenal! The hype is real.Ham & cheese empanada: SO GOOD with gooey cheese and a really flavorful ham! Not your usual ham & cheese.Spicy beef empanadas: great seasonings with just a touch of heat.Tarts: buffalo (crazy good, a bit tangy with tons of savory) , spinach/artichoke (creamy perfection with loads of seasoning), plum/bacon (sweet and savory), al pastor (the sauces really make it), and a dessert blueberry cobbler. Each was absolutely mind-blowing. The crust was so fluffy and light, and the fillings extremely flavorful.Husband says it's now his favorite spot in Santa Rosa. We just finished and already want to place a second order. Going to try their sandwich next.(Also the box comes with a fresh flower. Nice little touch :D)“

“It's not fancy but it IS tasty. I've eaten here a couple times and the staff is always friendly and the food has been great. It's a bit tucked away but worth a go when you're in the area. They do mexican food and some other genres. But I've been happy with everything I've ordered to date.“

“Had dinner here on the patio. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi, Wedge Salad and the Pesto Pizza Bites. We were skeptical about trying this place at first because the name just didn’t go with the type of food they served. To be honest we thought the Art’s Place was an art store just from looking at the name on the building. I am glad we did stop by because I wanted comfort food and this place did it for me. They were a little short staff that night the server we had was also the bartender as you can imagine he was very busy. I asked for Parmesan did not receive it until it was time to go. I also had to go inside and ask for our server not knowing the task he had at hand. Overall besides the service not being A1 the food made up for it. I rate this restaurant a 9/10. I Will definitely recommend this spot and will visit again when in the area.“

“Love this place. Every time we have been here it’s nothing but consistency. Great friendly service. Good down home food and the pies are amazing. Greatest thing to our family is no alcohol served. Won’t make them the most popular but if you’re looking for a nice family place to dine I would fully recommend.Kid-friendliness: Nice clean environment for families.“

“Went to Black Bear Diner for Easter because Grams likes it and we go a few times a year, I had a Papa bear Burger and it was good, real juicy and good to med rare as I like it, not much to say on that front. Making this review more so for the great server we had, Victor was on top of our drinks and had a fun personality. The servers are always good when we go there but it's nice when they have a pep in their step, Victor had that and it made the visit slightly more enjoyable.“

“The sliders are amazing! Drive almost 2 hours just for chilis. This is based off of 2 different visits but the food for the most part is amazing! I would NOT recommend the tenders though and that's from someone who loves fried chicken. The waitress the 1st time threw my lemonade down like I was at a bar and she was the 1 drunk. Young and spacey as she would forget literally 3 seconds later what she asked. Felt like it was a lot on her, the food the 1st time was off like the oil was really old but those sliders and the bacon quesadillas are very good. Went back with my parents and the food was so amazing the oil was changed and the service was much better even though the server got my mom's order completely wrong and we had to eat in front of her unfortunately. But the 2nd visit was almost perfect, I do love the atmosphere!!“

“I've originally moved up to Sonoma County in 1985. I discovered Tubby's back then. It was old school, comfortable, 50's Shake N' Simple, with Great tasting food... Take Out pre-ordered, and dine in old school Dinner atmosphere back in 85'. You should not expect brand new furniture, and fringe trimmings, to judge and evaluate this Tubby's Cafe quality. I found the fare and facility clean and cared for, despite being off the main drag of touristy diners near by. I've eaten at all these other eateries. I fully recommend dining at Tubby's! ???... Fresh food!!! Old school, but Clean! C'mon Man... let's Go to Tubby's. Satisfied Customer ?“

“If your going for comfort food. This is it! Hands down, the best waffles I've ever had. Coffee is strong and bold. The hash and eggs are cooked to perfection. The service is great, topped off our coffee and checked on us more than a few times. The atmosphere is a bit dated but for the comfort and tasteful food, it honestly doesn't matter. Been looking for private own diner like this. Love it“
