“GF enjoys their clan chowder, I went with a pulled pork sandwich. Was very messy but overall a tasty eat. They don't have a fryer (!) so no fries or fish and chips but they seem to have other good options. I wouldn't call them cheap but they aren't expensive either. We ate outside and enjoyed our day away from the heat.“

“My friend and I shared a wine tasting which consisted of three small glasses of tasting size. You get to pick the three wines that you want. Not a huge selection., but works. We decided to eat there and I got the crabcakes which were pretty tasty a spicy sauce on top, and there were bell peppers and with the crabcakes. My friend got salmon with the skin was very crispy which he likes but the inside was too rare and he had to ask them to cook it more. It came back, still a bit too rare, and we fed that to the seagulls….The couscous salad that came with it was the best thing of all. I would not run back there but if you’re hungry and in that exact area, it’s a convenient place to grab a bite to eat. They have a couple of different patios outside, and the staff was very friendly. The one remark my friend said was that if they’re going to leave the salmon that raw like they said they usually do, they should ask people how they like it cooked. He loves sushi, but it was too rare for him being that it was salmon. It was a great day to get away from the high heat of Sonoma. We went from the 90s to the 60s wearing a jacket. He had never gone by the school house from Alford Hitchcock The Birds, so we did that on the way out.“

“Drakes is consistently excellent. We're only able to visit Bodega Bay 1-2 times a year, and when we do we always have breakfast/brunch at Drakes. Excellent huevos rancheros, eggs Benedict, omelets. It's all great. The service is always excellent, attentive and friendly. And a great view of Bodega Bay. We highly recommend Drakes!“

“We came to Coastal Kitchen at Dillon Beach Resort to celebrate my mom Angela’s birthday, and everything about the experience was outstanding: warm service, delicious food, and one of the most beautiful coastal settings anywhere.

But what really made the visit unforgettable happened after the meal. My motorcycle ran out of fuel, and the team went far beyond what anyone would expect to help us. First the restaurant staff jumped in, then the gift shop team, then the maintenance crew. Together, they found an old hose, helped us fashion a siphon, and got us back on the road. They genuinely cared, and they stayed with us until we solved the problem.

As the owner of Angela’s Organic Ice Cream and Iggy’s Burger, hospitality is something I think about every day. My name is Iggy, and together with my mom Angela, we’re Sonoma and Petaluma locals. “My husband and I (30yo) spent our anniversary weekend here. Our goal was to be close to nature with a nice clean room to sleep in. The room was clean. The outdoor garden / terrace was serene and amazing. Access to kayaking and the forest was a huge plus. Property is kept with the understanding the manor is older and beneath trees so there will be leaves / dust. Staff were very pleasant. Drinks were great. Lobby decor and food were ok. Overall, we left very happy.“

“I always enjoy my time at the Jenner inn. The tree house cottage was the perfect, private space for a night of relaxation. The room has 1 queen bed a Kitchenette with a sink, mini fridge and microwave. Satellite Tv and WiFi. Looking forward to my next stay.“
