“Amazing place to get a bite. I’ve had Spud’s for a few years now. Their clam chowder is the best I’ve ever had. I live 2 hours away, but make sure I get down to bodega bay every few months. The location is awesome, parking can be not great if it’s the weekend and it’s busy. It’s also great they have specials and locally caught seafood. If you haven’t heard of Spud’s then I’m sorry for ya. 10/10 would definitely recommend to anyone.”

“Who would have thought you can find great Neapolitan pizza like this in Bodega Bay? Owner was also very friendly. I wish drinks were available though, but no big deal”

“My friend and I shared a wine tasting which consisted of three small glasses of tasting size. You get to pick the three wines that you want. Not a huge selection., but works. We decided to eat there and I got the crabcakes which were pretty tasty a spicy sauce on top, and there were bell peppers and with the crabcakes. My friend got salmon with the skin was very crispy which he likes but the inside was too rare and he had to ask them to cook it more. It came back, still a bit too rare, and we fed that to the seagulls….The couscous salad that came with it was the best thing of all. I would not run back there but if you’re hungry and in that exact area, it’s a convenient place to grab a bite to eat. They have a couple of different patios outside, and the staff was very friendly. The one remark my friend said was that if they’re going to leave the salmon that raw like they said they usually do, they should ask people how they like it cooked. He loves sushi, but it was too rare for him being that it was salmon. It was a great day to get away from the high heat of Sonoma. We went from the 90s to the 60s wearing a jacket. He had never gone by the school house from Alford Hitchcock The Birds, so we did that on the way out.”

“Fab food! Get here when everywhere else has a l-o-n-g wait. You won’t be sorry! The chowder has clams AND scallops - inside and outside seating. Nom Nom Nom.”

“Hospitality and Service was friendly and professional, never intrusive. Little gems caesar was crisp, full of umami and had fresh tasty boquerones. Halibut filet was a generous portion, perfectly cooked, seasoned well and served with potato puree and broccoli rabe. Dark chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting, raspberry/blueberries and hazelnuts was decadent not too sweet. Overall we enjoyed our food and experience. The space felt like a upscale steak house meets coastal lodge with large windows and a cozy indoor fireplace. Reservations are recommended.”

“This place is sick. The service team were super friendly and attentive, the foods we got were perfectly seasoned (chipotle burrito & the super burrito with the ranchero sauce, 10/10 recommend). The location is great too, with it being just down the road from North Salmon Creek Beach (which is the best beach). Check it out!”

“They have gluten free sourdough bread!!! It’s not on the menu, but you just have to ask!!And it’s a regular size piece! Not like when you get a tiny piece of GF bread for the same price. They told me they use the same toaster, because it’s a small kitchen, so maybe not ok for people with celiac, but so happy for meeeee.
I came on a busy day, but the staff was so kind and sweet.
They also have homemade pastries in the case, and house made focaccia had just been pulled out of the oven. I couldn’t eat any of it, but it smelled so good. My gluten eating friend got the biscuits and jam and absolutely loved it.
This place is such a gem, so full of heart, and has amazing coffee. They use artisan beans from Black Oak roasters which is up in Ukiah, so anything you order will be delicious. 🙏💕 Cannot recommend enough!”

“I saw a post with pic of snickers cupcake and couldn’t stop thinking about them. Contacted Lana and ordered. Yum! Yum! Yum!! Moist chocolate cupcake with a light peanut butter frosting, drizzled with caramel then topped with bites of snickers! Even better than I thought they would be - thank you Lana! I will definitely be ordering again!”

“We sat at the bar and were there during Happy Hour. The fish sliders were delicious. The pan fried local fish was delicious. I had the Cajun pasta with blackened shrimp. The sauce on the pasta wasn’t as flavorful as I expected but it was still ok. The blackened shrimp were very good. Service was excellent. Definitely a great experience.”

“We had a lovely experience here a few weeks ago... came here for our anniversary dinner and it felt very special. We sat at a small table righg next to the window, looking out at the water. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive and we appreciated the recommendations she made. Everything we ordered was perfect. Delicious cocktails and salad, we ordered two sides - the crispy potatoes and sesame green beans which were both outstanding but I will be dreaming of those potatoes!! And entrees were the Pork Chop and the black rice bowl. The rice bowl was good but was a bit light and didn't quite match the rest of the items... but the Pork Chop was perfection and the savory bread pudding on the side was very unique and we loved it. We kind of shared a little of everything. We also got dessert, a chocolate cake, which was delicious. We left feeling very full but extremely satisfied. The food was very high quality and prepared perfectly and presented beautifully. You can tell that there is a lot of pride that goes into this operation. Also, I felt that for the quality of the food, the price point was extremely reasonable. We will definitely be back.”

“We love staying at the Bodega Dunes Campground and walking to Terrapin Creek Cafe for dinner. The charred octopus salad is an amazing appetizer, which complimented our seafood stew and roast duck entrees. The waitress was wonderful and helped us select delicious wines. Be sure to reserve a table.”
