“Pretty delicious fish and chips. It was very crunchy and more of strips than a giant fish filet, which i liked! The tartar was very oniony, which was delicious. The chowder was not thick but tasted good. If you don't like paprika, ask them not to sprinkle the powder on top. It made it taste off. Very little seating. I come here for the fish and chips whenever I'm in town.“
“Our group had chowder, crab sandwich, fish and chips and fish tacos. The chowder Wes good, not great. Crab sandwich was really good, as was the fish and chips. Feedback on the fish tacos was that they were good but needed more fish.Parking: Parking is available down the street in the marina lot. It’s a little bit of a walk.“
“I stopped by for lunch on a sunny day and this was a home run. The Hitchcock wink just gilds this very pleasant spot. The Birds sits right off the water with multiple levels of scenic, outdoor seating wrapped around the little kitchen where you order and pick up. Pass the single stall bathroom, and you'll find an adjacent building set up as a coffee shop. The menu is simple, but effective. Fish Tacos: Loved them. The fish has a light, crisp batter. They're served with shredded cabbage, fresh pico de gallo, and an avocado sauce on top. Two hearty tacos to an order and so good. Artichoke Fritters: I know this is county fair food, but I loved these. I thought they might be heavy, but they were actually pretty crunchy, frilly, and delicate. They're good with the ranch on the side and a little hot sauce. The portion is honestly giant which is fun. I took my leftovers home and enjoyed them again that night!“
