“We were in the mood for fish N chips and The Goose & Fern was at the top of the YELP list. We tried it today. A delightful, smiling and very pleasant young woman greeted us, brought our beverages and took our order. The wait time was incredibly slow. In most restaurants, a diner can tell if the wait staff is the problem or if the kitchen is the problem. The food, when it finally came, was delicious, hot and as expected. Again, the server brought us the condiments we requested quickly. These folks need help in the kitchen! Either the kitchen staff doesn't know how to multi-task or they are disorganized or, more likely, they are understaffed. 5 stars for the server and the food. The wait time drops you down a point.“
“The best fish & chips in town, but also a really great place for lunch or dinner, even if you don't feel like fish. Their chicken strips, jalapeño poppers, fried zucchini, etc. are all great. Quick and friendly service. Whenever someone asks me where a good place for food is around here, I always tell them about this place first. Highly recommended.“
“We used to come here at least twice a month when we lived in the area. This is the best Fish N' Chips spot in Rohnert Park. My personal favorite that hits the spot every time is the chili cheese fries! Just one of those cravings that need to be satisfied.“
“This place has the best fish n' chips and calamari! Their tartar sauce is mouth watering!! Everything else on their menu sounds so good too, but I always go with the same thing because it's too good to not order. Leave room for dessert and try their lemon cloud; it iS HEAVENLY!“
